For the level of exclusivity they preach I think it is too crowded. Its a beautiful spot and the views from last floor's terrace are terrific. However, the cooking it's not their strength. All our dishes came cold, the staff is difficult to find as we had a private room and we had to stand up each time to ask for water, drinks or any refill whatsoever. After dinner, we went to the rooftop for drinks and it took ages to find someone who could take us note -again, consequence of how crowded it is despite of their members only policy.

Members only. Situated in one of the oldest buildings in HK proudly built in 1930s the bank of china building. The club has been converted from a residential house like structure with a main hall on 13th floor and private rooms for members. The club has a very rustic feel and takes you right down the memory lane wherein you can actually feel the lifestyle of early Chinese settlers in HK. The food was quite exquisite as we had a 7 course meal and was worth every dime.

(Translated by Google) It is a membership system where you can go only if you are a member or accompanied by a member. In addition, advance reservations are also required. The exclusive atmosphere and service are very good. Especially the dim sum buffet is famous and you can choose a special menu for your special day. I am always satisfied because I can have a good time every time!

Overrated restaurant Sounds exclusive members only but not really, just like any hotel restaurants There is nothing wrong but nothing wow either It just feels like any local restaurant with a bunch of locals Food quality is reasonable Service is attentive Dim sum choices are okay not great There is a no creativity or innovation, purely traditional dim sum

We were lucky enough to visit the exclusive China Club in the old Bank of China building. You do need special membership to enter. The food at the China Club was tasty and super expensive, overpriced for what it was. But this was made up for by the setting, an ornate dining room, beautiful crockery and A grade service. It has plenty of character. The art in this establishment was very cool and there is an awesome rooftop bar view with a stunning outlook over Kowloon bay.

Great dining experience! Members only club. Master noodle maker demonstrates his skills nightly. It’s a must see if your fortunate enough done in this exclusive restaurant. And of course have the Peking duck.

Great place to hold a charity auction for a worthy cause. Help For Children held their annual Gala last night. Food was delicious and decor was amazing.

The interior and decor are definitely worth a visit. The location is great and the colonial style bar and dining hall are good for lots of pictures. The food is ok - but considering the price point I would have expected a bit more. The service at the bar is the opposite of polite but I would assume (hope) it's part of the show.

Overhyped, overpriced and not the most friendly service from managers, waiters and the like. You couldn't believe but there's a ridiculous dress code for men for yum cha.

Lovely dining club and bar in the historic Bank of China building in Central. Entry foyer is like a throwback to English rule in Hong. The art lining the staircase is a beautiful, eclectic mix of old and new. Check out The Long March bar, a fitting name for the space. It is a private club so you need to be hosted. Food was delicious, try the Peking duck, jellyfish, chicken and chow fun. Great wine list.

Fantastic buffet brunch with a variety of dim sum, seafood, other traditional chinese dishes. Food was fresh and delicious. $580pp. They have a strict dress code.

One of the most beautifully appointed rooms I've ever seen. The artwork is an awesome variety of traditional Chinese and contemporary pieces. The service is attentive and you can linger as long as you like. Classic Cantonese style food with a few regional Chinese things on the menu with a huge wine list. A wonderful Hong Kong experience.

Splendid Chinese food and cozy environment. Would be one of my best lunches if the desserts were as nice as the main dishes and dim sums.

Pretty mediocre food and very uncomfortable sitting at very high prices. Unless you sit in the main hall with live music, don’t bother. Good service, but wouldn't come again.

A truly pleasant experience added by the friends and guests at one of the private rooms at the top of the building. Preservation of architectural history is important and I'm content that my Capital city's name is exactly linked to such efforts. Everything about the China Club was distinguished. The tasteful décor, wooden floors and walking, artworks, lighting fixtures... You name it. We had access to one of the small and apparently few people know its there showing a nice visit of the city. Otherwise the extended lunch was superb & with a company that shared the history of Hong Kong and its charms. A memorable day it is and had an old-world feeling to it... Definitely recommend to anyone who has the opportunity to visit.
