This is a must go for Muslim, you can try authentic halal Chinese food, including dim sum. The Price is acceptable. On the Menu, there are small size and big, small is good enough for 1 person. I recommend Mutton curry with rice as well as Shanghai fried Noodles with beef. Its really delicious! For non Muslim, you probably need to come with a Muslim.

This is the best halal dim sum in Hong Kong! If you are Muslim and want to eat dimsum, you have to visit this place. This dimsum is cheaper than others restaurant, start from 10$-25$. Open hours: 10.00-21:00. If you want to go here, you can stop at Causeway bay Station then walk around 8 minutes.

Delicious, authentic and inexpensive Chinese cuisine. We walked to the Islamic Centre from the Wan Chai area and easily found our way using Google maps. The canteen is located on one of the higher floors which can be accessed via the lift on the ground floor. Good tip: go early when the canteen is still quiet and food is being freshly served. Service was quick. We were seated upon arrival and handed a receipt and a menu. The receipt is for the server (at the dim sum station) to mark down your order. Head over to the Dim Station and tell the server which items you'd like (menu has English descriptions) - I recommend trying one of everything! Menu was very cheap in comparison to other dim sum restaurants. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the experience. There are male and female prayer halls on the lower floors, for Muslims who would like to pray. The canteen is open to people of all faiths. Enjoy!

Best place in Hong Kong to have halal dimsum and halal Chinese Food. Remember to reach here by 11am on weekends to get a spot, sometimes the wait times can be as long as 45 mins. Beyond the dimsum, my favourite here is the stir fried spicy lamb with cumin, yam leaves with garlic and the egg fried rice. The stir fried spicy potato with eggplant and peppers is yum too. Been visiting it for almost 7 years now.

An absolute place to visit if you want to try delicious Hong Kong cuisine and also halal certified food. They served various dimsum, fried rice, noodle soup/dry, beef/chicken sautee, and also many type of drinks from chinese tea until soft drinks The taste was superb. I would recommend you to order Hong Kong fried rice, Hong Kong beef noodle soup, and don’t forget the fried/steamed dimsum, both of them were so tasty. Also, their sauce (combined soy sauce and chopped chili) for you to dip the dimsum has wonderful taste, I can’t describe it. Salty, spicy, but also has an umami flavour that boost the taste of dimsum itself. Service was quick and friendly, most of them only speak cantonese but there’s one waitress that speak english so don’t hesitate to ask. The place was clean and tidy. A simple-must-try-halal-restaurant in HK If you go to HK, you should definitely try this place!

Conveniently located inside the building of Masjid Ammar & Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre, this is a nice place for a snack or a full meal. One can choose from a wide range of Halal authentic Cantonese dishes. The food is delicious, the quantity is appropriate, and the prices are very reasonable. There are a number of food options available catering to a variety of palates and dietary choices. The serving time is quite short, and the staff are very helpful.

I’m amazed how delicious this place is. Every dish is served hot to our table, the portion is good for 3 pax to share. Price is reasonable as well. The chicken was succulent & crispy on the outside. Fried rice was generous with the chicken meat & salty fish. Tofu was fried well, it wasn’t too oily & goes perfectly well with plain rice. The egg was well-seasoned, however if you’re not a spring onion person then this is not for you. This is by far the best authentic halal chinese food I’ve had in HK. Highly recommend!

A busy halal dim sum place. Order dim sum directly at the dim sum counter. The other hot dishes with the server. Once you are done..do move on.. They can get busy.. Esp after friday prayers. (Try to avoid) there is a lift.(yeah!)

This place serves yummy and halal dim sum, prepared fresh for its customers but not upon order. So, get the green order card and go to the counter to order your choice for dim sum. The staff will serve it to you and mark it on the order card - you don't have to write anything on it. Before you leave, just show the payment counter the green card for them to tabulate the total cost. Easy. There are other dishes as well e.g. fried rice or noodles for solo or sharing.

Great to try dim sum at this place. Nothing sophisticated when comes to decoration but very functional. For Dim Sum u will need to go put and choose what you want to eat. Price is very reasonable.

Cantonese halal dim sum is fairly good at very reasonsble price, not so many choices as in traditional Chinese restaurant (中式茶樓) though. It's lunch hour on Thursday but still easy to find a table for 4. They serve non-muslims as well. Recommend: 百花玉子豆腐、炸韮菜餃

A must visit if you are in Hong Kong and after halal food. The ladies who served us were lovely and the service was really good. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of them were superb. Definitely try the noodle with beef, but it's pretty spicy.

Undoubtedly Best Chinese Halal Food in all over Hong Kong

  • 4/5 Waleed B. 1 year ago on Google
A bit difficult to write this review for the following reasons. The service was really friendly and staff were very helpful. The menu came in both English and Chinese which helped a ton. Secondly the food was hot and freshly prepared per order, the portions are a good size and the offering are affordable and fully halal. The part that makes it difficult is being South African, at home Asian cuisine is usually prepared with local ingredients and according to local tastes, that said I was not fully acquainted with true Asian cooking and did not enjoy the taste very much. Others in the restaurant loved the food though.
