This is the best Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in Hong Kong I have ever eat so far. I just love their white curry (白咖哩)so much, they are so delicious ! I also love their cheese dosa so much too. This restaurant's dosa and puri are super delicious, they are like as tasty as heaven foods. Mango Lassie also taste, but a bit expensive. In concluded, this Indian restaurant's foods are yummy and I strongly recommend it.

Noisy customers shouting trash about their jobs. Poor service and miserable old man behind desk. He only greats other Indians. Staff appear deaf and mute, zero customer service and just throw the food onto your table. However the food actually tasted pretty nice. The chippati is the smallest and skinniest one I have ever seen. In summary, nice food, noisy and poor service. Would I come back? No. Would I get as takeout? Maybe. Summary, food is ok, disgusting service.

Bad customer service. The staff treat you like trash and probably only see you as a $ sign. They have communication issues and bad attitude. Never again

Love the food. We ordered gujarati thali (top) and south indian thali (bottom). Price is $89 each, really worthy n full filings. They located on the 1st floor, you need to ring the bell first so they can let u get in. Lunch time open until 3pm.

Have always wanted to try the indian thali, and it did not let me down. For a price like this you get to enjoy several signuture indian dishes all in one plate, I'd say that's a very good deal. Everything comes in a small portion and it's easy to finish the whole thing alone. Liked the restaurant too and will pay another visit to try out the menu!

Branto is a hidden Indian gem located in one of busiest lane, just opposite iSquare mall in Tsim Sha Tsui area of Kowloon, Hong Kong. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant which specialises in serving South Indian dishes along with some North Indian dishes too. The ambience of this restaurant is so beautiful that it makes you feel in India. With typical Indian lights, walls covered with Bollywood superstars frames and romantic songs of Hindi movies playing in a background just sets up the environment. The food served is an authentic Indian food with nice blend of Indian species. It is one of the best Indian vegetarian restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui. Thanks Branto team for serving us the best Indian food in Hong Kong 👍👍👍

Not the best Indian food in HongKong. Heard this restarurant had been in the same place for 38 years, so wanted to try it out. I ordered a South Indian Thali and did not get curd, the waiter told I had to buy the curd rice seperately. My wife ordered a Pav Bhaji and the Pav was rock solid. The person in the bill counter did not even look at me when I paid the bill. Very poor attitude. Not worth for the money you pay.

The food came burnt. It was easily smelt. The person over the call was very rude. This restaurant lost a customer.

The ambience is decent but the food quality is supreme. For the cost they offer and the quantity they provide its worth every bite. If you are looking for good food on a regular basis then this could be your food hub. They serve a variety of cuisines and I am a big fan of the dosa chutney. Must try!

The aura of the place is angelic. They excel in all fields of hospitality industry. It is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, opposite Isquare mall, where there's a metro station (MTR). Excellent location and affordable traditional indian cuisines. Gujarati thali was superb, the uttapam was well cooked, and the Dosa was crispy and thin. It is a pure veg restaurant. It is very accessible

Great South Indian food. Authentic. Really enjoy idly (very freshly prepared), poori and aloo (as yummy as we had in Mumbai). Chatt is also good but a bit different than we had back home. Overall, great place for south Indian food.

  • 4/5 Parth S. 2 years ago on Google
Its a good place to have some good north-Indian style food. Pav Bhaji here is worth trying. The chat items are nice as well! The restaurant is very affordable and proces are very decent

Food tastes good!! A bit pricey for the 1st floor setting and environment. Prefer Woodlands more. Ordered dahi puri (Chaat/ snack) and spinach with vegetables. They are both good. Masala tea is a small cup and costs $32.

Lousy service, majorly understaffed, restaurant was packed n only 2 waiters for serving as well as managing bills. Waited for starters for over a hour, very poor service, food was nothing great. Went there for it convenient location to get Indian food. But won’t go again, it was not worth my time wasted over a hour waiting for food.

Probably the worst place in Hong Kong for Indian food which explains why it was so empty. At the very beginning they take forever to let you im through the building gates, the restaurant is severely under staffed. Coming to the food, main items like Vada was not available. The Idly was served cold, Sev Puri was too spicy and the Rasam tasted sweet. All in all a very weird experience. I'm going back home with an upset stomach. Do yourself a favour and do not go here. Several others and better options for Indian food available in the area. I will for sure never visit again.

Was here for lunch to try authentic vegetarian food. Food wise the experience was extremely bad. All the food were literally cold. We order Pav bhaji, Masala dosa and Branto special Indian thali. All food came in within 2 minutes. And non of the food were hot. All the curries where lukewarm. As service wise it was pitiful. As we enter The so called “BOSS” behind the counter- No Hello, No Welcome, No smile. After entering we see a serving staff same No hello, no welcome, just a blank stare as if she was high on something. Highly not recommend not to visit here as it is just a rip off. Thank you.

Food is good, but crockery is third class. However, parathas were undercooked with no tissue underneath to soak the butter - not well presented. Finally, a bit pricey for what you get.

Today we go dinner we give order for pavbhaji I told that pls bring some more butter, I wait 5 Minuit still he no bring, he told me we make in butter, this stupid guy, if they ask me we charge for butter we will pay. I give also order for rava dosa too much oiley, dryfruit milk shake very undelicious. Food is ok ok. Crockery’s is very third class.

We had lunch 2 times during our stay in HK, and the food was consistently delicious! We ordered dosa masala and branto special dosa, which are very well served. There are no alcoholic drinks. Definitely will come back in my next chance

If you are looking for a decently priced authentic Indian vegetarian eatery, this should be your go to place. Conveniently located near the TST MTR, this restaurant specialises in South Indian cuisine, along with a decent selection of North Indian fare. The atmosphere is nice depending on your preference - if you want a throwback to the 70s-80s Bollywood this place is replete with posters of the era, and there are film songs playing on the overhead tele. Prices are decent, and tastes are not adjusted to cater to the non-Indian tongue - it is authentically Indian.

It was a sunny winter day in 2017, my first time in Hongkong a friend told me, he knew a good restaurant, an indian restaurant. I had Chana Masala, the taste of that specific dish hunted me for the next 5 year. I decided to come back to Hongkong to try this one dish again. AND I LOVED IT, if you have time and want to try good indian cuisine, go there Branto is the place to be!

My favorite Indian restaurant in HK - and it's all vegetarian! The food is consistently delicious - I have enjoyed everything I've eaten here, and I've been here dozens of times. I particularly enjoy the dahi puri and the pav bhaji. The entrance may feel "sketchy," but don't let it stop you. Once inside, you'll find some of the best Indian food in Hong Kong. Credit cards are accepted here.

Hidden gem for Indians craving for Indian vegetarian food. Food and Service is very good. Owners are very polite. Location is good too , just 5 minutes walk from Tsim Sha Tsui Exit A1. Found it less costly in comparison to few other Indian restaurants in Hongkong .

Tasty, authentic vegetarian Indian food without frills. Great value, nice staff. Slightly hidden away on 1st floor - they have to buzz you in. Only downside was no beer! A gem. Will return,

Missing Mumbai's street food? The best place in Hong Kong for authentic Mumbai street food is Branto Veg Indian food restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Came here regularly a few years ago. Come again with an Indian friend today and we both feel that the quality has deteriorated. It’s still OK but just no longer like what it used to be. Is there a change of ownership in recent months? That’s what I wanted to know now.

This is the place that I have been visitng from the age of 6 or 7. I am very fond of this place and the food. The taste and quality of the food has been consistent. Staff are good and always smiling. This pure vegetarian restaurant is bang opposite chunking mansion lane. Everyone should visit this restaurant to enjoy authentic taste of India. 10 on 10 for their super "Branto Special Thali"

OMG not even 1% felt like entering in an Indian restaurant everything is disappointed in this restaurant right from the service until the food taste especially lady sitting in the counter. South Indian thali was pathetic. Never ever think about going to this restaurant in future. Very disappointed😔

Food is amazing and serve super fast. So better order the appetites and main dishes separately. If not, the table will get overwhelmed easily. Definitely Need stronger AC in the shop, I went couple of times, sitted in different tables, every time I feel hot / need better air ventilation. Recommend the dosa and Indian fried rice.

Food was a hate crime and it was cooked in a sceptic tank. This place being open still is shocking, honestly disappointing how bad it was. Can't wait to get my stomach sick and projectile vomit out tomorrow morning.

Outside the door is welcomed by various Indian gods. The interior is simple and simple. It is an Indian restaurant. The people in Seoul take charge. Many Hong Kong people came after sitting down.
