Just like home...! I've been coming here for years at the end of my trips and every time it feels so good to be able to travel halfway around the world and have a meal like you're at home. When you're done with dinner, cross the skybridge and take in the amazing view across the water for a photo opportunity. Service was on point and the food was delicious, like usual. See you again soon!

It's my birthday so we decided to celebrate here :) we ordered dinner set and I am happy that I made a right choice! Starter+ Main Course+ Dessert. For starter you can choose salad, soup or carpaccio. Main course is a range of beef filet choices or crab cake. Dessert is cheese cake or sobert. Highly recommend steak and cheese cake! The best ever! Thank you for offering me a Birthday cheese cake as well!

A very traditional, classy and one of the best steak houses in Hong Kong. Not only the food is good, they take care of every small details (butter for the bread is nice, plates are hot). I especially like the New York Strip. For dessert, the banana cream pie is a must-try.

Never got so disappointed. Great setting as a traditional steakhouse with nice service. But the food is even worse than any street food I ever tasted. Filet is totally tasteless. Ribeye too greasy that you can’t stop at least five mins for every bite to digest it. Other appetizers and side dishes is just matching the standard of factory canteen!

Very pleasant environment and the staffs are very hospitable. Originated from New Orleans, this American restaurant is perfect for a quite meal with friends and family. The food are delicious and the portions are fairly adequate for sharing.

Pretty fancy place but very overpriced. Charging very high prices on the basis that it’s fancy. The steak was good, but probably should’ve been just over half what I paid. It came exactly as I ordered it and was very tender. Didn’t get to sit next to the window but the view didn’t look that great anyway. The vibe is quiet and posh.

Great food, hot dishes, big portion, lovely service. I dare it’s much better than Henry if paying such a dear price.

Turned lights off before 10:30pm and started kicking people out at 10:35pm. Really rude and overall a bad experience - it’s fine to want to close early but not really okay to take 845pm reservations and put 23:00 close time on Google map etc. Food itself is too salty. Not the same level as before.

Haven't been here for a very long time. The food quality is still at a high level. I also got a free cheesecake for my anniversary. The host was very attentive and gave us good advices on the food selection.

Food is nice but the service is utterly terrible for the price point. Got to wait extensively for courses to be served and requests to be heard. Restaurant is really noisy. Would not recommend.

The restaurant is very cozy with good atmosphere. Service is good. I tried the signature crab cake, which is unbelievably good! Every bite I can taste the real crab meat! And we ordered a 12 oz steak set $748 to share. The lobster soup is very smooth and creamy, with lobster meat inside. The steak is so soft like marshmallows! It is served hot and it is very meaty and juicy! All part can be eaten, no tendon at all! The apparatus is very juicy and soft The cheesecake is so good that it is very creamy with cheesy flavor! It is rich but not overly sweetened. To round up I get the earl grey tea. The earl grey is using high end brand tea bag. The earl grey is smooth, with aid of lemon, very refreshing! Overall we had a fulfilling dining experience. Thank you!

American Steakhouse experiences are a real hit or miss in Hong Kong and will always cost quite a bit compared to peers in western countries. This reality includes what you can expect at Ruth's Chris in TST as well. Some have reported great meals here. However, what we experienced recently was a very average steak dinner. Opening hours are 12-3pm (lunch) and 5.30-11pm (dinner) daily. Reservations are recommended if you want to dine at Ruth's Chris, you can do so on their website or through Chope. Dining environs are not bad, dark wooden walls and tables spaced out very well. Service is very friendly and attentive. They try hard but are less fluid and natural to what you might expect. As for drinks, we ordered an old-fashioned that was mediocre. Served with a glass way too full of small ice chunks, the whisky cocktail was served very sweet. This wasn't not a good old-fashioned at all. Glass of Bourdeaux served tasted fine although we would have preferred for them to have poured the glass at the table. This a norm at nice restaurants around the city but not something they seem to do at this Ruth Chris. During our meal, we had the fillet and the petite fillet. The good news - they were grilled perfectly at medium rare temperature. The beef colour and texture was spot on. Steaks were properly served in a plate of sizzling butter as well. As such, when it comes to the grilling and preparation of our steaks, everything was just fine. The not so good news - unfortunately both steaks were surprisingly flavourless. Taste was improved by the butter but we were surprised at the lack of natural flavour of these fillet cuts. Sadly, they didn't seem to have salt flakes at Ruth Chris as well. We were given traditional shakers with iodised salt only. Proper salt flakes could have improved our fillets. A quick note as well that the sides of potato gratin and Brussel sprouts were just fine. In the end, not a terrible steak dinner but not particularly impressive either. There were many shortcomings, and frankly speaking - not good enough fillets for the prices being charged, to recommend this Ruth's Chris in TST. There are much better options for those who enjoy fillet mignon or larger tenderloin steaks in Hong Kong.

The steak was good, perfectly seasoned and cooked in this instance. The desert, bread pudding was awesome, would recommend to anyone to give it a try. The crab cake, however, is ordinary, would pick something else if I revisit. Wine, is extremely overpriced, as expected at any similar establishments in Hong Kong, so keep the water nearby 😁. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

Disappointed by the inconsistent service of the restaurant and the bad attitude of the staff.. It was my first time to visit Ruth’s in Tst as recommended by my boyfriend. We asked the availability of the special menu as we didn’t book in advance. The manager genuinely gave us the menu and provided us an exception. We later got served by another staff, who strongly rejected us with the stated policy. He even rejected my request in talking to the previous staff. We had no choice but to order what is “allowed to order” on the menu. This is truly a disappointing experience as we didn’t not expect to be treated in a such disrespectful way. It’d be unfair to the restaurant if I give one star. The filet and dessert are great tbh. The Newyork strip is alright, sadly a bit over cooked. I wish they were up to the standard as rated online.

Convenient place. Delicious food and excellent services except one of the waitress insisted my 7 year-old daughter to fill in the form while she was with me going inside and I have my leavehomesafe app scanned the code.
