Really good food, authentic dim sum experience. It's really pleasant to order from the passing carts and get what you like. Also, the restaurant can accommodate up to 1,000 guests so bookings is better but not a necessity.

Pretty good Dim Sum. Your standard options. You can either choose to order from the Menu or go to the centre of the restaurant to pick up the dim sum you would like. In the centre part they also cook fresh congee, noodles, pancakes for you, and you can choose your ingredients too for the pancakes and noodles. The cart ladies also come around with extra Dim Sum. Overall a very good experience, recommend to book and be on time in rush hour, it gets very busy!

Old style dim sum place where you can go up and order what you see, not common in Hong Kong anymore. Can get quite crowded.

A nice venue offering Chinese dim sum or dishes. It was understaff during peak hours from 9-am to 1pm.

Extremely chaotic. You have to queue for the dim sum yourself. Not available to order. Worst thing is the queue is so long you queue for 20mins and when it’s your turn they said no more Shrimp dumplings and siu maai etc. ridiculous what do I come dim sum for then?? Management should really change how they operate here. Customers come to relax and have a sip of tea not to come for a war zone queueing with sore legs fighting for dim sum

Simply, food quality doesn't match the price. Way overpriced.

Subpar dining experience Food had terrible bland flavours, but charged an arm and a left (as seen on receipt) I don't mind paying but at least the food should be good, which it wasn't Also incredibly confused staff as I tried to get my bill and pay cash, got taken to 3 different sections

Not very crowded for dinner on a Saturday evening. Food was pretty ok and came pretty fast after ordering. The Fukien fried rice was nice. The beef was so so. Air con was freezing. 4/f from admiralty mtr exit D (you can see elevators right outside the exit).

Super delicious dim sum lunch, no wait to be seated for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, food freshed steamed with temperature inside but not overcooked, best Dim sum I've ever had, every dish very delicately cooked, price reasonable for the quality. The server a little bit noisy when doing their job, so I took off some mark from that. Other than that, everything is fine.

This is one of my regular go-to restaurants in HK. The quality of the dim sum is above average . The steamed beancurd roll is superb! We came here for breakfast to beat the lunch crowd. Wifi is available and toilets are clean.

Today we visited 名都酒樓Metropol Restaurant at Admiralty Hong Kong. Mr Jacky Chan and Ho Kwan provided a very bad customer service. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:30 am, and needed to wait for the food for around 45mins after ordering. despite we asked both the server to check for the order multiple times, they intentionally ignore us firstly, then pretended to help us by check for the order only and didn't help us to speed up the food delivery. It was a shame that the server Ho Kwan even tried to blame us for not order from the menu because we can get the food faster if we pick up the dim sum ourselves at the food counter. The system of your restaurant is particularly bad because everyone can cut the queue to get dim sum from the counter directly but for those customer who ordered at table needed to wait for 45mins. Even the people just seated can get food at 10:30 can start eating right away while we are starving without food. And none of your staffs tried to help even they knew the situation. There were no apology for the delayed service and your staff even blame us for the delay while we checked out. We are disappointed for the dining experience at your restaurant today. The customer service at your group have be deteriorating in the past 2-3 years to a point it is not longer acceptable and definitely damaging your group's reputations.

Chinese Restaurant with Dim Sum in stationary Push Carts at lunch. With all the Dim Sum on display at the Centre of the restaurant there's no need to wait. Just choose what you fancy and bring back to your table. They are set up for a busy lunch service so a lot of Dim Sum is prepared in advance. While effort is made to keep the items warm, expect most of the food to be barely lukewarm.

One of the more centrally located Dim Sum place with great price & really good quality dim sum. Will definitely return for more dim sum regularly.

Dim Sum for lunch is acceptable but not exceptional as compared to many other restaurants. Customer service is below par as it's hard to get the attention of the waiters and waitresses. Prices of the food is expensive in my view for what I am paying.

Very fun experience! Cantonese-style dim-sum is great here. Gets very crowded so either go when it's less busy or be sure to know what you want to try so that you can go up to each station and order your own food. Bustling and vibrant ambiance. Great for large groups or for smaller groups.

Fairly decent Cantonese restaurant where you can have reasonably good quality dim sum. It’s similar to the standards of Maxim group restaurants, which is not bad at all. Prices are fair given their location at prime office area.

Good variety of dim sum and the place can get very crowded during lunch time. Fish congee is full of bones, so be careful if u order it. The shrimp siu mai and fried spring roll are my recommendations! :)

One of the best dim sum place ever had in HK with good value and sanity. Must try.

This was one of the better places to come for dim sum and a regular Sunday lunchtime haunt for many years but on a visit recently the quality of the food had gone downhill. Possibly this is a result of Covid restrictions but the food why dry and hard and lacked flavour; it tasted as if it had been standing there for a long time. Disappointing.
