Our HK trip was fabulous till we visited Moko ladies market. The first stall my wife had entered and was checking out purses, the lady from the inside shouted at us saying “no money, dont touch my purses or don’t waste my time”. We were completely astonished when we heard that. Maybe we didn’t look so upscale to fit for buying from that shop!! 😀 But calling us like that was very strange. We have been to more than 20 countries so far, lived in multiple countries before. But never ever got such treatment. We felt so down, we picked up a cab and went back to the hotel! Maybe this is one of incidents and I believe many of you have positive thoughts about Moko! I am not going to give 2 star rating as we didn’t explore anything after that incident. I have only two photos to share!

Just near the Sneaker Market😜 Lots of things to buy... PS need to bargain. If not, you'll lost a lot of money. Be a smart buyer. Compare if you must. 😉

Great market for souvenirs. There are tons of stalls, mostly with the same stuff. Be ready to negotiate on every purchase. I purchased a “lucky cat”, a small cross-body purse and a few magnets all for around $15usd.

Well if your looking for the cheap stuff and good to compromise quality - you’ll love this place. Other than that it’s just great for street photography…

We visited the ladies' market (with my lady) is a street with the market can bargain for our best price. Many Stalls across the long street you can find almost everything fake such as luggage @ cheap prices, branded bags, toys, clothes, shoes, etc. We didn't buy anything here, but we were told that it's ok to bargain for a better price. And the price can be really lovely in comparison to the one in shops. Visiting during the weekday and around 4 PM for us meant that it was lively, but not crowded. Only cash payments are accepted here. I have found many outdated items you may not require.

Quite good for small souvenirs, toys etc but not a huge variety here. Most stall are quite samey and the ladies are very pushy with their sales. Expect it when you go and it’s all part of the fun.

Such great market, but unfortunately the sellers sale the similar stuff. Not really interesting for me since they not really selling the authentic merchandise of Hong Kong to be souvenirs. But anyway if you’re looking for luggage you can get the cheap price here about 200HKD here, just try to bargain and there’s lot of halal restaurants here

A 3 block market along Tung Choi Street in Mong Kok with many street vendors selling various items. You can find anything from fake luxury goods, luggages, carts, shopping bags, souvenirs, clothing, footwear, candy, food, and jewellery. They take cash only and most are willing to bargain so don’t always take their first price. As you walk away, they start lowering the price so be wary! Lots of the stores sell the same items for different prices so be sure to check them all before committing to one place. Most shops aren't set up till around 11am so don’t come too early as they may not be ready. We visited about 3 times and never left empty-handed!! A must visit if you’re in the area.

Great open market clustered with everything you want (but likely don't need). Ideal stop for souvenirs and gifts. You will find purses, wallets, backpacks, suitcases, other bags, hairclips, shirts, dresses, luggage tags, figurines, toys, etc. And high end knock offs of most brands you can think of 🛍🎒👜🧳👝👠🤭 It's pretty big, stretches past a couple streets & covers both sides.

Good stuff for street shopping. You can do bargaining here. It’s a place just like Karol Bagh, New Delhi India. Lots of Sunday items, fake items of good brands at cheaper prices available. Nota good place for serious buyers. Momento of Hong Kong at very cheap price can be bought say 5 pieces at 10 HKD after bargain.

Not as busy as it used to be and things are a lot more expensive now which is understandable. We did still get a few items but it's annoying how they give you a big price and you have to barter. Did enjoy the pets nearby and was good to see queues for food

Before buying anything make sure you visit all stalls, as prices vary significantly for same items. Not recommended make purchases at night as overpriced.

One of the crowded street markets in Hong Kong- Kowloon Area. Lots of street shops which sells fancy items, luggages to electronic goods. Even I seen iPhone selling in a street there, not sure about its authenticity. We should bargain very much so that we get it in an affordable price range. Fancy items can be bought for around 50-60% discount or even more of we bargains well. One should walk through this ladies market to experience the Hongkong lifestyle.

The name is Ladies market but it got everything for everyone, not just for ladies. Lots of cheap souvenirs and counterfeit items available for your selection. Need bargaining skills and never pay for the asking price first. It’s one of tourist attractions so you can come to take a look even if you don’t plan to buy anything.

The street market is a very unique experience... Where you could find unique things for sort of a lower price by bargaining.... but the sales people could be rude often.... it is also very crowded in sometimes, along the very narrow walking space. After covid, many of the shops were closed, and still is.... better to wait until the end of the pandemic... maybe.... But still there are some of the shops in the street.

Not the most amazing market. Just stalls upon stalls of mainly the same items for sale. But if you are looking for a cheap Hong Kong souvenir then this is a good place to start.

nice street with lot of sovereigns collections. we can bargain for our best price!! support local people. They got beads, magnets, dresses, cool bags, luggage bags, mobile cases and accessories, mini handy fans, toys, household objects, miniature toys, shoes & sandals, id card holders. both sides of the streets have more clothes shopping and restaurants.

One of the famous shopping places at Mongkok. You can get here by taking the MTR, get off to Mongkok Station and exit towards Sai Yeung Choi Street (see instructions on the station). The place is not too big, open from morning to night (around 10pm). You have to negotiate with seller, and sometimes find unfriendly sellers. My advice, would be to walk around before deciding to buy something, as many sell the same thing. For example, canvas bag (I ♡ HK) is $100 for 5 pieces at the front, and in the centre you can find a similiar item for $100 for 8 pieces (and you can bargain until get 10 pieces)

Stalls sell mostly similar items, so it’s a matter of finding the better bargain for your budget. Also a bit more full of stalls compared to Temple Street at the same time of visit.

Fun place to shop! Big variety, from bags, accessories, paintings, touristy trinkets, to useful little gadgets, toys etc. Bargaining with sellers. In the evening there's more stuff and it's busier. Close to mong kok metro station.

Crazy place! It's amazing. So much going on, lots of stalls. Best time to visit is the evening (also cooler in summer months). If you like to find random gifts or knock off goods then this is the place. Good for a friendly enjoyable haggle for the things you want.

Market which has variety of trendy stuffs available which are in cheap rate but dont expect much longitivity out of it :) Still you can explore the variety of options available starting from bags, toys, electronic gadgets, tshirts, show pieces and much more in one lane where you can definitely taste bargain. I have brought toys for my child also some momentos for my family and friends from this place which is unique in its own sense. It’s situated in mongkok just exit from E2 exit and cross the road then you will land into this place which is called as ladies market.. Cheers..!!

This is the place where tourists can buy souvenirs, bags, electronics and other memorable stuffs. There is also an electronic market in the third street of this area where you can get original and genuine products like Apple products, Cameras and other electronic accessories etc at the very best price with International warranty. I would say every tourist must visit this market in the trip.

Ladies market is a relatively quite famous night market that located near to Mong Kok MTR within walking distance away. Heard many about this night market and eventually I have visited it myself. The night market is not that big and many of the vendors selling almost the same things. Since this is over-rated tourist night market, you will expect to see the things there are much more expensive than other night markets around the area. The quality of the things sold are not that good as well. Not really recommended but ok to visit just to check out the place.

Under normal circumstances the market is a fun place to be. Bustling with many activities, much to see and to buy at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately today without any tourists and the virus, it is truly a sad place to be.

Nice place to go visit, you always need to haggle even if it's a really silly price, they enjoy it and expect it. The market is quite long do not get there early, get there about 2.00pm, most are set up then, if you go early you will be dissapointed

  • 4/5 Jonathan C. 3 years ago on Google
Great place to buy souvenirs for friends such as chopsticks and porcelain. The sellers are open to bargaining, so you can always lower the price a bit to get a good deal. There is a wide variety of things you can buy such as clothes, wallets, toys, etc, so there is almost always something that catches your eye here.

  • 4/5 Chris H. 5 months ago on Google
It’s about what you’d expect from a local market. Lots of random bits on sale and lots of people wanting your attention. It gets busy but I enjoyed it and managed to walk away with a couple of bargains

  • 4/5 B Kay L. 4 years ago on Google
A street market laid through many blocks at the most popular place, Mong Kok. It is called as night market, but it is still busy in day time, too. You may find many kinds of souvenirs, clothes, bags, and trendy toys at cheap price. BUT it is not easy to buy what you really like at such a cheap price. Most shops call the 1st offer at triple or four times higher than you might buy. To reach the actually attractive price, you need to be a warrior negotiating the price. Meanwhile, some shops strictly follow their price tag, showing slightly lower than average price. If you bought something good looking at 1 tenth price, don't expect the quality. You got it for the price you paid.

  • 5/5 Chuck 3 years ago on Google
The Ladies Market is actually a bit better than the Temple Street Night Market. Sure, it's full of knock-offs and bric-a-brac but if you have the time and patience to take a good look and haggle a bit you can definitely find some good items for very reasonable prices.

  • 4/5 Fabrício H. 3 years ago on Google

It is really a nice place in Hongkong from where you can buy things at a lesser price, by bargaining with street vendors. All Hongkong special items can be bought from here at a reasonable price , if you have good bargaining skills.

Ladies' Market can be a hit or miss experience. If you're willing to navigate the crowds and negotiate for the best deals, you may find some affordable treasures. However, be prepared for a somewhat chaotic and less organized shopping environment.

I was first time there, there are some interesting stuff to purchase, but I dont like that the vendors touch, hold and pull customers to buy their stuff. I felt like being forced to buy stuff which I dont need or even want. So becareful not to go inside their tent or stalls, just look from outside, so you can have a smooth walk away from stuff you are not interested in.

  • 3/5 Joseph C. 1 year ago on Google
There were many streetside stalls along the pedestrian only road from the afternoon till midnight. Shops were also operating behind the stalls. Some products were quite low-priced. Fresh fruits were on sale. Traditional cakes and snacks were made in one of the shops and available for purchase immediately.
