TL;DR prepare to extend your wallet and to discard any expectations you may have of what an organic park should be like An extortionate experience. Whilst it may seem like a good change of environment from the city, you might be better off at other natural farms or parks. Getting here is a pain if you don't have a car. The attitude of the staff is also quite bad. You'd think you were supporting the local industry by coming here but honestly it probably encourages more park mismanagement. Animals were in very poor form with little space to roam (there is this part of the park where its literally clusters of animals all huddled up in enclosures) and the image I remember best was an emu which had bald patches from what appeared to be the result of prolonged malnutrition. Ponds were filled with algae, whilst deforestation was the by-product of blatant negligence in the park's responsibilities in maintaining the rapidly growing local population of goats. The park feels like it was built between a concrete carpark (in the literal sense) and a rocky hillside. This is particularly evident when visiting the strawberry portion of the park; there is a large section just right of the entrance where poorly plants are grown in pots sitting on concrete. You'd think this would encourage plant growth by allowing for better control over its environment, but it has done the exact opposite - rotten strawberries litter the floor. Look a little further and you'll see the remnants of derelict buses and buildings that'd make a tip look fine. There are other reviews which outline this makes for a good place for families and couples to come, if you're prepared to set your expectations lower for what an organic park should be like and to recuperate your sunk cost and time in coming here. Hopefully you get the idea. Thanks for reading my review.

Kids enjoy it but from a educational, ecological and financial point of view it is a disaster start to finish. There is nothing organic or ecological there with the exception of plenty of mosquitoes. Massive use of plastic, single use items starting from the feeding trays to the artificial green grass used as an outdoor sliding area. The state of the animal farm is sad and reflects a 1950 understanding of animal welfare. The all concrete and metal enclaves for most animals with little space and greenery makes is a case for how not to treat animals. In most developed nations this would have been closed down long time ago. Financially it is squeezing out money at every attraction. So make sure you either buy a few tickets at the park entrance (and they come in bulk of four tickets but it’s a better deal than buying it one by one inside the park) or just stroll through and try resist your kids forcing you to buy attraction tickets. The overall state of the park is frankly speaking bad. The seating areas are dirty, chairs broken, toilets small and smelly, no soap or hand towels in the bathrooms, the playground worn out, trash almost everywhere…

A large park. You pay an entry fee and you get some coupons which you can use for activities. Apart from the playgrounds anything needs to be paid / needs coupons. There are some nice kids activities like carts or sliding down the hill, house ride (2 coupons for 30sec in a circle!), etc. Note, there are quite some insects, the small ones you almost don't see, but which bite. So, don't forget insect spray even it might help completely. Some food can be purchased inside the park, but you can also bring your own food.

What a dump! Dirty and rude staff. So many hazard risks in kids play area, very unsafe. Animals don’t appear to be in the best of health. Once you pay the entrance fee you need to pay for everything inside. Most attractions require a few tickets per child so it ends up being a very expensive day for such a disappointing venue. They have limited food options and all low quality. Hot food was served cold. Rubbish everywhere and staff don’t seem to care. They yell and have no manners. It’s simply a money making business with no regard for the environment. Single use plastic cups are used for animal feed and it was sad to see them thrown around the place. Don’t understand how they are still open for business. Nothing eco friendly about this farm.

This is a great place to while away a few hours and let your kid's run around. It is in a beautiful spot, but the spot is not always beautiful (you need to ignore the scrap metal in the area)! If you are expecting a Disney like experience, or a venue that would pass a HES Inspection this is not the place. That said, it is worthy of a visit, just be realistic and enjoy your time in the great outdoors of Hong Kong's New Territories ...

Sad, filthy, and overpriced. Looks like a cross between a garbage dump and an abandoned carnival. The ostriches are in a tiny enclosure and have all pecked each other’s butt feathers off. Now they look like a bunch of giant, angry, half-plucked chickens standing around. The carrots you pay to feed to the animals are literally rotten, as in turning black in places and slimy all the way through. I could barely touch them let alone give them to the poor goats and boars who were standing in their long-accumulated feces and slurry water. Half the horses are skeletal and the other half look well-cared for. Most of the animals look like they are sick or just depressed. There were no activities open other than feeding the obese koi and feeding the unfortunate, sick-looking animals in the ‘animal village.’ No net fishing, no inflatables, no kid race car track, no horse rides. But no discounts just because of that! Oh no! It’s still $50 per person to enter. Then $130 per child for the activities. And then $80 parking fee to park in their gravel lot. Plus, if you drive from HK island, an additional $318 in tolls for the tunnels and bridges. So, basically this place is a hell hole.

•TW, LONG PARAGRAPH I honestly could rate this 0 stars, but I unfortunately can't. Let me explain from top to bottom. My school was having a picnic here and when we arrived, no staff were greeting us for our arrival, it was almost like no one from the staff team knew our school was there. An hour later, we were called by our teachers, and my friends and I immediately ran to the area where our stuff was, seeing a whole group of kindergarteners with their parents and teachers waiting for our school to pack up our stuff. Apparently, they "booked" the area, so they told us to leave. We couldn't even have a suitable place to settle down on. The company that runs this place didn't even bother caring. They did nothing to sort this "coincidence". Then, moving on from that, my friends and I went to go play the family bicycle, and we arrived at the place, I saw there were more than 10 people waiting in line. After 15 minutes, I was in front of the line, and the staff member started scolding us for being, but already we weren't that loud, I would say. Then, the staff member literally sat in his chair and slowly counted his money(or I should say the park's money). I'm 99.9% sure he saw the line of 20+ people lining up, finally after 15 more minutes, he was done and gave us the tickets. Overall, it was a complete rip-off. Items were overpriced, staff were rude and short-tempered, and the place smelled like a mess, trash everywhere, lacking staff. And this wasn't even half of the disappointing things I experienced when I went there. 0.5/10.

Hard to rate this place. 😆 On one hand it's great to experience open space like this in Hong Kong, but on the other hand it's a really worn out venue waiting for a liability to happen... We ended up on a track that disappeared into an abandoned bus parking spot. Not sure if it was on display or for dumping.. Could have been a great attraction without much effort.. 🍓 Strawberry picking was closed, bouncy mat closed, horse feeding closed and a bunch of other things not available.. Was quite disappointing for my son. But he was happy to feed the goats with carrots more expensive than we buy at our home.. 😂 He saw some rabbits in tiny cages, and over-fed wild boars in also small compounds. The ticketing packages they have is where they take your money. Would have been okay if all the activities were open.. The tricycles and bikes all had flat tires, and things were falling off.. 🙈 But hey, they have an epic T Rex model almost 1:1 scale.. Good for scary selfies! Most signs were broken and unreadable, so please get a map... :') Nature is slowly taking over this venue, might be worth a little visit before it's gone, or before someone sues them broke.. P.S. WATCH your kid's like a hawk.

Tai Tong Organic EcoPark is located in the tranquil valley of Tai Tong village, only a 10-minute drive from Yuen Long occupying over a million square feet of land with lychee forests. The EcoPark is an established (since 1994) leisure and recreational destination with Hong Kong's communities and families. The EcoPark is a key educational partner with Hong Kong schools with the goals of promotion of environmental awareness and to enhance the general physical and mental well being of every visitor. Facilities include a lotus fish pond, BBQ'ing, canteen, adventure play area, creative workshops and strawberry picking and horse riding. There are many good places for outings in Hong Kong, but places suitable for all ages may not be everywhere. For people in the urban area, being busy in the city on weekdays, entering Yuen Long seems to be an even more important event. As long as you pay attention, there is a paradise in Yuen Long. The park has been established for its 20th anniversary since its establishment in 1994. In order to make all visitors feel at home, we have carried out a large-scale restoration project a month ago, and we are waiting for your visit. Here, you can admire the scenery of the lake and the mountains, and enjoy the "natural oxygen bar" with a high concentration of negative ion oxygen in the air. It will refresh your spirits. Putting aside the heavy work, you can relax your head and have fun with your children. It will surely make you suddenly enlightened and happily forgetting to return. The facilities of this garden include: lotus pond, rope net array, children's playground, lake pavilion.

Really bad experience! 😡 Will never go there again! The tickets were definitely unworthy! It costed $80 per adult, and there was nothing to look at. The animals were really smelly and dirty water was everywhere, no one was cleaning the place though. The eating environment was also horrible. 😱 The goldfish netting activity uses fake plastic fish. There were also no DIY activities to be found. The activity tickets which is bought for $80 for 4, do not have any places to be spent. We used them to exchange veggies at last. And there were so many people. The facilities were also so old and rusty. The entry ticket was for absolutely nothing! 🤬

The Ecopark offers a wide range of kid-friendly activities, such as fruit picking, horse riding, DIY workshops, family bicycles, a bouncy castle, and animal feeding, making it an excellent destination for children. However, they charge for every single activity which may drain your wallet by the end of the day. The most memorable part, in a bad way, is the portable bathrooms that are notably unclean and should be avoided due to their poor maintenance and hygiene standards.

I had fun, the food at the restaurant is great, their soy sauce chicken is a bomb! Lot of things to do especially with the kids, there are different kinds of animals that you can feed, but you have to buy ticket for Thier food, the entrance fee is 80dollars adult.

Great place for kids and parents alike! Lot's of things to do and explore. Animal farm with goats, rabbits and peacocks 🦚 as well as ostriches and a big piggy. Also nice playgrounds, bouncing castles, a nice pond with hungry fish. And we really enjoyed the freshly handpicked strawberries. Definitely worth a visit!

It's good for kids with some live animals like pig, horse, goat, rabbits, guinea pigs and birds like peacock, white and regular ones, pea hens, fowl, turkey etc. However the animal enclosures are very smelly due to their urine and poop in enclosures . The main or star activity for kids is the horse ride which is good👍 . Those horses are quite well maintained and don't smell. Bouncy castle, family bi cycling, funny climbing net is also good and kids enjoy a lot. At least 3 to 4 hours is needed inside the park excluding travel time. Lotus pond is amazing with fish feeding activity for all.

Nice place for kids with many activities like farm animals, playground, fruits. Quite difficult to get to if you don’t have a car, and if you drive they charge you $80 for parking, which is ridiculous. Entrance $50 and you can add in some activities like feeding animals or strawberry picking etc. all in all good for kids.

Worst experience. Everything was closed , yet we paid 80$ each for entrance. And they also made us buy activity ticket (around 500$ total) but all activities were closed. We wanted to return the ticket as there was no activity to spend on, but they wouldnt return also. Only activity was pony ride which was like 15 seconds ride. This place is literally scam . Better go to other strawberries park like long ping farm . They are far better and cheaper than this. Will not recommend for anyone. If there was 0 rating, i would give 0 rating to this place.

Except that the scenery is good with fresh air, all other aspects are really bad! The service of the staff is bad. No food in the restaurant in week days. The animal house is super smelly with poor maintenance. The fee of admission and activities are overpriced. Not recommend at all! Waste of time and money!

Good place for kids to learn the basics of agriculture but needs better signage for directions as it does get confusing. Price to feed animals is ok compared to competitors but pick your own fruits is expensive at $80 per lb per person! Parking is $80 for 4 hours and refundable if have hours left.
