Also tied him up to a chair very tight as if he's in a mental institution. I hope behind the doors they are treating the old people with care and it was just a certain staff member.

Hospital admin should erect more signs guiding patients from West Rail to hospital. The trip involves over 5 auto-pedestrian intersections, 2 pedestrian tunnels, 15 minute uncovered walk but I only see 2 signs (1 for Car). Too much guesswork for sick people needing help, right? It takes even longer to reach for old people and rainy days.

Limited access by public transportation, especially at night since it has no dedicated route serving the hospital and Yuen Long Town Centre.

Good luck with minimum waiting hour 24/7 of 8 hrs,if its major case or u need sick leave go to pok oi otherwise just go to private medicals anywere.

No option to people who wants to see eye specialist. Yes you can, but your turn will come after 1000+ patients. Better go private clinic. I just wasted my time and money today.

Follow Google map arrives no issue. First gate is not the car park, they should open for u. Was there Sunday morning about 830 time. There is car park but seems pretty small, I guess can get full during visiting hours of 5 to 8 pm. Cost is first two 30min is 2x10hkd then increase gradually, check the web site better.

I've had the pleasure of being treated at this hospital multiple times. From a fall off a ladder, to some very troubling lung infections. I now live in Canada. The care I received in HK was lightyears better than I receive here. There is no point even making a comparison. CT Scan: Canada's wait time? 58 days. Pok Oi? Immediate. Get ready to wait minimum 6,7 hours to get paracetamol. Avoid and go to private clinic.

Get prepare to wait around 10-12 hour even it semi urgent. I went at 11:30 pm in an emergency… my turn came at 6:28 am. I waited almost six and a half hours. There are two types when you go into emergency: 1 non-urgent and two semi-urgent. My case was semi-urgent, and I still needed to wait for that many hours. Imagine how much non-urgent need to wait. Doctors ask me To do a blood check and I had to wait extra 3 hour. There was only one doctor seriously 1 doctor in that big hospital for emergency.

long waiting time even though case is serious

The nurses and other staff on the front are very rude to ethnic minorities. The difference between the treatment towards local and the EM is very different and it is very clear. I just went to the hospital with my helper, the way they treat us was very inhumane. She couldnt hear me because there was an annoucement going on, and when i couldnt hear the nurse speak, she would ignore and and roll her eyes. Both the people at the triage station just rolled their eyes on us. This behaviour is unacceptable. I would very much like the administration and the authority to look at this please. Lets not turn a blind eye at how people are being treated. I think i am not the only one who went through this. Im sure there are others. But the staff should be atleast polite because the patients come there with their pain and they cause more pain because of the behaviour like this. Very unprofessional people.

Got my 3rd jab today, at Pok Oi Hospital, Yuen Long. All the staff I encountered were EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. Very impressive! 👍👍 A huge "Thank You!" to all healthcare workers! 🙏🙏 ❤❤ 🌹🌹
