The hospital is the largest medical facility in Hong Kong. One wanders through a maze of corridors, long halls, stairs before arriving at the department one has to be. The reception is busy, loud and with many patients looking for treatment. But once you see your doctor in a timely manner as per booking made one is treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.

Probably by far, one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a public hospital. Staff were unprofessional and lacked empathy in treating their patients. Aren't hospitals suppose to prioritise the patient's comfort and convenience at each stage of their journey while providing medical care/treatment for sick or injured people? Definitely not, when my autistic younger brother was aggressively smacked awake and forced into a certain position in the A/E department.

Medical services were OK. But nurses had no empathy and doctors terrible bedside manner. My doctor did not bother to check a previous diagnosis fr an outside source before sticking a needle into my throat three times, only to find the diagnosis false. Would never come here again!

As soon as you exit Exit B of Shatin City One Station on the MTR Tuen Ma Line, you can already see the hospital. The transportation is more convenient than other hospitals. There are many buildings in front of it. If you want to go to the south wing of Li Ka Shing Specialist Clinic, it will take an extra 7-10 minutes to walk. There are many people along the way...

Here for a regular appointment with daughter. So the usual pay, go to the clinic and drop in form. Been asked 3 times if I've paid by people in the same room and one even scanned to check. Never asked anyone else. I guess they think all foreigners are bad now, following their latest Beijing training obviously. Asked them if I look like a criminal FFS!

Government hospitals used to provide substandard service and be apathetic to patients. Now what can be seen are young, professional, caring doctors and nurses, full of passion and determination to help those in need. The only sadness is that patients have to wait for more than one year or even years to have the chance to get their first ever consultation.

Very grateful for Dr. Yuen Pong Mo, the nurses and staff at HK Sanatorium & Hospital. Because of Dr. Yuen's excellent expertise and skills along with seamless, sincere service and care provided by the nurses and staff

Doctors, even surgeons are careless about your questions. And what you feel is not as important as what they think "you feel".

hk hospitals keep getting worst and worst. waited 3 hours just to clean wound and i think it was done cos i have dark complex.

The hospital is clean and tidy with very polite and nice doctor and nurse

For me, it's a magnificent hospital, it's big, all corridors are spacious, it's easy to find your way via the markings on the ground floor (colored line). To confirm your appointment and arrival there is an automatic terminal, very easy to use, then just have to check if your number appear on the screen. Just plan to arrive a little early, access to the elevators can be long. This is the only problem I had here, it would be better for patients to have dedicated elevator rather to share with hospital services.

The place is spacious, the instructions are sufficient, the staff are friendly and helpful

Service manner are always bad in A&E.

Despite the high number of patients, the staff has done a great job. I've been hospitalized for a few days now and the treatment I've got is really good. I do appreciate what the staff has been able to do.

The clinic is quite small and the space is not enough

They have the volunteers service !Great! It's good for the Elderly !

The nurse's speech, attitude and politeness are very poor. If you are impatient, go home and sleep.
