This is the most crowded lunar new year market in 2020. If you want to visit the market, be prepared for the queue of 2 hours. It is not exaggerated!!! It is because there are different booths by famous handmade craftists, youtubers, visual artists, special collectors... Luckily I had my lunch before the two hours queue. The reason for so many people may be due to the cancellation of dry goods in government setup new year market. In my opinion, the market here is better than the government playground since, first it can be indoor with the protection against bad weather. Second, the toilet is much much more okay. Third, the booth owner can set up the booth more easily and simple. Fourth, it is more simple to access the ATM machine for cash and restuarant for food with better hygiene. (I don't like alipay and poor hygiene)

Rings coffee on the top floor of D2 one. Tried the espresso. Strong acidic with a mix of fruity and coffee aroma. Personally don't like too acidic taste. My fd ordered a latte, his comment was very good.

AVOID! The parking garage will steal from you. We parked at the D1 parking lot, which requires letting the garage keep our keys since they need to move cars around in the cramped parking area. When we came back to get our car, our umbrella and a few other items had mysteriously vanished. We asked who went into our car and three people working in the 2 hours we parked suddenly could not remember. Funny how that works in a garage that fits at best 20 cars. We demanded security show us footage of who went through our car. They claim they cannot show us the footage due to privacy issues. Suspicious. I'm not saying the employees stole from our car. I'm saying we parked there, gave the attendants our keys, and when we returned to get our car, we had items missing. You decide if it is worth parking here.

A remarkable mall for the young. It is a miracle in a remote factories locale that the management managed to create an iconic character and now appeals to many. Many different types of food outlets, kiosks of gems etc.

Love this shopping mall. Fantastic selection of clothing stores with a wide range of styles, and cultural merchandise unique to HK.

D2 Place One is a pet-friendly mall that offers a wide selection of restaurants situated on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th floors. In addition to dining options, the mall features a pet accessory store, an indoor virtual golf club, a laser shooting arcade, and a public rooftop offering delightful views. However, the mall does have a few drawbacks. Its narrow layout often leads to overcrowding, especially during busy times. Additionally, the escalators are relatively small, allowing only one person to occupy each stair. Consequently, if someone ahead of you remains stationary, you cannot pass them. Moreover, with only four lifts serving the ten floors of the building and the escalators only reaching the first four floors, waiting times for the elevators can be extensive.

Pro: trendy, pet friendly. Many little shops selling their own craft and art. When you get tired, stop by the many cafes and restaurants and unshamely swoon over corgi's butt and other cute dogs (brought by their owners) while sipping over pricey drinks. Con: very crowded. Though 1) maybe it's just bad timing on my part because I just visited during the holidays; 2) being crowded around is kinda a HK culture so enough said.

While I appreciate the creativity and originality of the stores, D2 place 1 or 2 were the first malls in Hong Kong I encountered zero acknowledgment or hospitality from any store. Salespeople were all playing with phones and they could care less about the businesses, which amazed me. Two stars is for the products but that’s about it, won’t be back for the attitude.

I enjoyed the white Christmas 🎄 decorations display. Maybe the management could put some benches in the corners so that other visitors could not occupy or blocked the beautiful display when someone is taking photographs.

A chic place to kill an hour or so. D2 Place is named because it's right across Lai Chi Kok MTR D2 exit. One and Two are about 50 paces apart. It has typical samll-sized stalls, shops and a number of canteens and eateries. Place Two has some fun shops for kids and are often crowded. Both malls are converted from industrial buildings hence entrances and exits may not be obvious. Parking is available and you get 2 hours free for $300 or above purchase.
