Big open beach, not crowded and public facilities. Hour by mtr & taxi from central. Easy day trip. Good for water sports

What an experience!! The beach is amazing the cool water really nice. It is great that it has easy access by bus or foot if ur not lazy and great that restaurants are nearby.

Really quiet beach and very soft sand, though the sea was quiet rough. Hardly anyone around when we went! Don't expect any luxuries you'd find at a beach like Repulse Bay though. Also limited food options.

Clean and peaceful

This is one of my favourite beaches in Hong Kong. It has soft, smooth sand which makes the beach look amazing. There are amazing views of other islands in Hong Kong and you can also watch absolutely beautiful sunsets/sunrises. The water will have more sharp rocks underneath the deeper you go and I got a super bad deep cut. To avoid this, just don’t go that deep and enjoy the view and sand. There is also a kiosk where you can buy snacks (potato crisps, soda, etc.) and you can also rent cool beach toys (big inflatable boats, pool noodles, floaties, etc.) for a decent price.

Best beach in Hong Kong. Clean and clearer water. Sand is fine and the place is not packed even in the holidays.
