Very nice place! As a Hong Kong local, I loved the scenery and everything about this place! Currently the bird park is under renovation which is sad since I remember loving that place the most everytime I visit this park. But my new favourite place is right behind the artificial waterfalls: the humid plant exhibit, it’s a small indoor exhibit mimicking the tropical rainforest BUT WITH AC and it’s right past the dry plant exhibit which isn’t as amazing as the wet grass plant exhibit.

Hong Kong can teach rest of the world a thing or two about space management and town planning. The way they've wedged this park in between mountains, busy business and shopping district, deserves a medal. This park is in fact better than those retreats where you have to drive miles to escape from the city but here one can simply walk out of the office building on a lunch break and be in a rainforest near waterfalls, wildlife and nature.

Excellent park to escape Hong Kong's concrete jungle and relax, surrounded by nature and fountains. Pay a visit if you are near this area on Hong Kong Island.

Excellent place to go for a stroll amidst the lovely botanical borders and around the pond. Great little greenhouse just by the mini waterfall. Pondside is a great little restaurant in the middle of the park to grab a high tea or refreshing beverage. The aviary is a fantastic place to walk through and enjoy all the feathery friends that come quite close. Wonderful setting for a wedding photo shoot.

Hong Kong Park is connecting to the Pacific Place at Central with green, trees, lakes and great gardens. It's a great place to visit and enjoy the views of skyscrapers as backdrop of the lake inside the park. Very impressive Hong Kong government reserve such a big piece of land at such precise location at Central, allowing citizens to have a wonderful place for relaxing and enjoying nature. During the year 2000 working at Peak Tram building not far from Pacific Place; often come to have lunch at Pacific Place and then walk around Hong Kong park; a great memory to recall all the times.

A natural escape in the middle of the bustling area of Central. There is a conservatory people could visit with many plants from different climates and continents. There are also a lot of turtles people could take a look at. A great place for a family to walk around in.

Awesome park. It is small but well planned. Nice nature, flowers, animals, kids playground. But be aware of mosquitoes. Me and kids got bitten badly(

FREE A small beautiful oasis in the bustling city. There are tea ceremony houses, children's playgrounds, greenhouse parks, and a bird park in the world. You can experience different kinds of birds passing by. It is like being in the big Feeling in nature. The park also has a waterfall pavilion for nearly half a century. This waterfall pavilion allows the children who are now parents to find a lot of exciting and happy memories here, and it is also a review of the parents who are now promoted to the elderly. Happy memories of playing here with children who have become parents of others

Public park next to Cotton Tree Drive in Central, Hong Kong Island. We has just come down from the Peak Tram (the terminus is located near here) (also, Admiralty Station is the nearest MTR) and so make a point to wander through this park. I love how they do parks here, full of interest, elevated walkways, beautiful plants, an aviary, a fountain ⛲ you can go under! And turtles 🐢.

Beautiful place, at the center of everything. You enter with the car noises that will quickly fade away and let the birds singing. Such a great park to relax, the waterfall will wash away all your anxiety, the zen park will bring you to another dimension. Just imagine you go there without phone and alone, sit on a bench, bring a book, and chill.

Even though I walk pass this place so many times, I didn't take the time to really look around. Today I was more than pleasantly surprised! First off, the water fall was not new but taking time to enjoying it was actually really nice area to walk around. The whole environment was really nice, especially when you walk up the stairs and go behind the water fall, enjoy the view, look at views and listen to sound of water fall. For moment, you seems to forget you're in middle of a busy city. At the sunset time, there were particularly many types of birds gather, which you would normally never seen in HK. The place super clean and have alot of chairs to and places to sit down. Well worth to take a look.

Super cute part I highly recommend checking out the netted aviary where you can see a bunch of different kinds of birds for free. Also recommend visiting the botanical gardens.

Probably one of the best parks in Hong Kong, together with Nan Lian Garden, everything in this place is peaceful, refreshing, and soothing. From the scenery of trees, the falls, and the pond, everything is relaxing. Also, the playground and free drinking water are available for free. Another place for me to unwind.

Part of the site was known as Cantonment Hill in early colonial days in 1841. At the upper part of the former location of the Victoria Barracks, built between 1867 and 1910, the barracks were handed to the government in 1979. Glenealy Junior School occupied part of this site up until 1988. After the school vacated the site, the area was turned into the present park. Hong Kong Park was officially opened on 23 May 1991 by Sir David Wilson, the Governor of Hong Kong at that time. It covers an area of 8 hectares and is an outstanding example of modern design and facilities blending with the natural landscape. The construction of the park was a joint project by the Urban Council and the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club (renamed the Hong Kong Jockey Club in 1996).

Edward Youde aviary in Hong Kong Park is a great place for a stroll. Went on Sunday so there were quite a few people. There's also a marriage registry there at the park and often see couples taking pictures around the place before/after the signing.

Amazing bit of greenery amongst the high rises. The bank of China tower and the Lippo centre towers are clearly visible from within the gardens and offers a very nice contrast to the greenery of the park. The park is teeming with wildlife, you’ll find many butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, koi, terrapins and more. If you’re travelling to the Peak Tram station, the park offers a nice route if you’re coming from Admiralty MTR.

A beautiful park, so green and lush we didn't expect. So many turtles, waterfalls and even a wedding chapel. It was an extra seeing all the bride and grooms. Have a go. It's absolutely worth it and you will unwind immediately.

Hong Kong Park is this bustling city's gem (or oasis). There are many areas to explore in the park, such as the Teaware museum, conservatory, and aviary. If you want to take a break, there is also a cafe/restaurant in the park. You may also continue the walk to Hong Zoological and Botanic Garden from here.

Very nice retreat from the city that brings calmness and purity. Enjoyed climbing up the stairs to the tower, the walk through the fountain, the variety of fish in the pond, and luckily the newly weds couples taking photos in this park. The views from the towers are a great way to enjoy in order to rest from the stairs.

Beautiful views and surroundings. It's wonderful to have a big pocket of nature like this in the heart of such a big city and quite special to see all the skyscrapers towering around the greenery. Definitely go to the aviary to see and even just to hear all the wonderful birds and climb the look out tower to get some great views of this little city oasis from above.

An urban park in central you could spend one or two hrs. Big bird cage inside with lot of lovely parrots. A small corner erecting the 2003 SARS sacrificed medical heroes statue. Unfortunately the government never learn from the tragedy.

Very convenient, you can just walk to Admiralty, Wan Chai, or Central. The pond with colorful koi fish and turtles is not to missed when you visit. If you want to go to the Peak you can just take the peak tram .

This park is a hidden gem in Hong Kong. I often surprised how few people know this park even exists! If you're looking for a quick getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the city, this is your destination. The park is massive and I personally find it much more beautiful than its counterpart, the Kowloon park across the harbor. If this park was any larger, I'm sure it would be competing for the top parks globally. Watch out Central Park! This park contains an aviary and conservatory for exotic birds and plants from around the world. Our kids love visiting the aviary and they refuse to leave the fully equipped playground set once they start monkeying around. The park is usually not so busy, compared to the rest of Hong Kong, and is a perfect place for a evening stroll with the family. I'm unsure about the dog policies here, but we've walked our dog here multiple times and nobody complains.

Quiet and peaceful if you sit in a bench close to the running water. This park is really good for walking if you want to go to the Peak Tran station. Just take MTR to Admiralty. Take exit to Pacific Place and follow the sign to the Peak Team. You can then select hen walk through this park.

Spacious and lots of interesting landscapes in the heart of Hong Kong. Flowers, birds... Everything packed in a park. Great for an outdoor stroll or family activity

Great place to take the kids in cooler months. Playground is fantastic, but geared to slightly younger kids. Our 6-yr old got bored a bit quickly... which the Aiviary more than made up for!

The last time I came here was over 20 years ago, so it was nice to revisit. A beautiful and relaxing park from which you can admire the surrounding skyscrapers but also feel enclosed in the greenery. There are plenty of benches and it was not hard to find seating. Walking around, you can see lots of pretty flowers and plants. The toilet facilities are decently clean.

  • 5/5 사랑해오빠 3 years ago on Google
Definitely a great place and decent park to explore in such a busy, fast pace in the central of Hong Kong Island during the lunch break. The Hong Kong Park is located in central business district and surrounded by commerical skyscrapers, also with the only tramways leads to the Victoria Park. There are also quite a lot sightseeing spots and facilities including artificial lake, clock tower, conservatory, Olympic square, walk through aviary, and large children's playground that you can spend time with for the leisure time in the weekends or for a short break during lunch in weekdays. Please enjoy the sunshine in Hong Kong Park.

The garden is very thoughtful in details. Recommend for a walk to take a deep breath and a break from skyscrapers in this greenery garden.

A peacefull pause in a intense city center. It's never too crowded, always has free benches available to sit, rest your legs and watch the pretty koi fish in the pond. There are free public toilets (clean) available. Also vending machines with cold drinks. Exploring the whole park will take an hour or so. And it's totally worth it! Many different animals and plants.

A sizable park in business area, with quite a number of facilities like birds garden, fish pond, playground, museum, cafe, greenhouse, sports centre, water fountain and even marriage hall, etc. Easily accessible by all kinds of transportation and several five stars hotels nearby for a relaxing meal or tea break. Toilets were well maintained. Enough staff to keep the park in good shape. Many spots for photography.
