The place is quite famous for joggers, walkers and campers (Over the weekends). Some individuals do fishing as well. Good viewpoints on a sunny day. Given one of the financial capitals, you also get to see the artistic buildings.

The new promenade opens up a walking track along the whole harbour front from Kennedy Town to Sai Wan.. great viewpoints and little parks along the way for kids to play and adults to chill. Skateboarding areas and quiet zones, art installations and grassy areas for picnics. A great way to spend the afternoon.

It’s a most pleasant promenade on the coastline of Hongkong Island right at center of Victoria Harbour. It’s particularly beautiful in the morning in the crisp coolish HK air before the day heats up. It is very popular to joggers, walkers (and their dogs) and to Tai Chi practitioners. The surroundings are very green. The park at the middle of the promenade is particularly beautiful. There’s a couple of sculptures from which one can appreciate different views of the HK skyscrapers. The promenade ends at the Observatory Wheel.

This promenade is great for people from all walks of life! Full on public seating spaces and interesting sculptures along with the famous view of Victoria Harbour, this is an absolute must see here in Hong Kong! Best at sunset during winter months where the temperature isn't too sweltering hot and there is a nice see breeze!

A good place for tourists. Neatly mainted. You can spend a few hours around the harbour, watching various things around. I didn't get any vegetarian options. Walk able distance from the Express train station. There are these tourist buses which has seating options on top (hop-on hop-off) . There is also a maritime museum and different viewing pillars. Reachable by train in 24 min from HK Airport.

Cheap and fun Place where to find all the party costume any costume . Close from the Mtr and in the middle of everything

  • 4/5 Waha F. 1 year ago on Google
Cold & windy harbour front venue with astonishing skyscrapers behind. It should have organised the dancing party or the concert allowing the audience to dance or move their bodies without any fixed seats. Performance of Leon Lai and Joyce Cheng overcome all these shortcomings and are worthy to get 4 stars.

The Central and Western District Promenade in Hong Kong is a serene waterfront escape amidst the bustling city. Visiting in February, the cool weather complemented the stunning views of Victoria Harbour. The promenade's seamless blend of modern architecture and natural beauty offered a perfect stroll to soak in the city's vibrant energy. The skyline panorama, framed by the water, is truly breathtaking. Although it can get crowded, especially during peak hours, the overall experience of this picturesque spot makes it a must-visit when in Hong Kong.

It's a nice place to come for a walk and contemplate the Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong.

  • 5/5 Mateo G. 3 months ago on Google New
You have connections to everywhere in the city and plenty of things to do in there. I loved how easy was to switch to ferries or to the metro just by walking a couple of minutes.

  • 5/5 Jacob L. 10 months ago on Google
Beautiful Harbour view, relaxing place with a lot of sitting facilities, tress everywhere. While still working in Central, you will not have spare time to take a walk to the Victoria Harbour front. Instead, go home as soon as possible particularly always working late at office. A very panorama view of Kowloon Harbour front with various height and shape of buildings, M+ museum, ICC, Hong Kong Space Museum, K11 and etc. You can take a seat near AIA Vitality Park and enjoy the sea view. Sometimes, people will take the public space at the Pier 9 or 10 to perform entertainment program.

The view of the Island from the Kowloon side may be iconic, but it's still an amazing experience to walk along here at night (daytime also okay but humidity is a real downer most of the year...). Very nice bit of recent land reclamation and they often have events like concerts, food festivals etc. on here. Accessibility is easy from Central or Admiralty MTR (HK Station too), or obviously by ferry from Kowloon.

Beautiful Victoria harbour view looking to Kowloon side from Hong Kong Island. You can walk all the way from Central to Wan Chai along this pathway. Take good picture from here and have good memory.

I was definitely impressed when my friend and I wandered onto the Tamar Park adjacent the convention centre. Albeit there was some rain, the design and layout of the park and promenade was very modern and progressive. As a HK resident, this really does give me quite a bit of confidence in the administration for developing some very world class open spaces that are available to the public. It would be an even more spectacular if the government would take more interest in developing more dynamic features that incorporate habitats where animals can share the space with humans within the urban jungle.

Many joggers chose here because of the convenience and nice harbour view. The walkway was quite wide and allowed strolling too. There was a toilet in the Central District section. Sometimes it was windy along the seaside. Not many shaded area due to no building beside the way. Since there were some open spaces, people were doing exercise with their own yoga mattress, boxing gloves and dumbbells, etc.
