It was a place for people of all ages. Children will have a lot of fun by not just watching, they have a lot of chances by touching and moving many experimental exhibitions. Along with the long period exhibitions, the museum will hold some special exhibitions regularly, so it will give the attendance a fresh impression every time they come. This time the special exhibition is about dinosaurs 🦖. There are no additional charges, so what can you say?

Loved this place. Just amazing experience for free. Liked the stamp collecting game. And enjoyed alot playplay scientific games. One of the must visit place in hongkong, that to why not if it is free. But its good if you can prebook your visit online before going, its free.

2023 August 4★ If your local or just stopping by, get an annual family pass for $100 HKD. This will get you entrance to a few other museums in the city (though some are already free). At $100 HKD, it's still cheap to support the cause and not feeling stingy about paying it. The museum itself is nice and there are a fair amount of hands on, interactive exhibits the moment you walk in. There is a show, every 2 hours I believe where they do a runner drop off a ball that goes through a set of obstacles which is entertaining. Special exhibits are temporary and the annual pass includes admission. Worth while to go, given it's also beside the history museum.

Really interesting place to visit! Prior to entry, you have to book your spot including the time of entry. We went on a Wednesday so it was free. Upon entry, you’ll see the dinosaur exhibition. Inside, you can collect Dinosaur press on paper stamps as a merchandise. There are plenty of interactive games inside, so you will never get bored. The most fun area is the maths exhibit. You can spend hours there trying to figure out how to solve the puzzles.

It was a great place to bring the kids. Kids are free to enter, The ticket price for adult is only HK$20 which is a very good deal compare to what they have inside. Kids love the museum very much. They experiment with everything and learn so many new knowledges. On the top floor there is a playground where the kids can experiment and try many activities. They also let us left the museum for lunch and come back without having to buy another ticket. After lunch we came back and stay until the Museum closing time. We love this museum 😘

This is one of the best places to learn about the extinct species that once lived on earth. The science museum is easy to locate. Close to the Tsim Sha Tsui public library and, Hotel ICON, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The fossils are well mounted with good illustrations.

In conclusion, the Hong Kong Science Museum is a gem that deserves a prominent place on any traveler's itinerary. It is more than just a collection of exhibits; it is a sanctuary of learning, a celebration of human curiosity, and a reminder of the boundless possibilities that science holds for our future. Whether you are a seasoned scientist or a curious explorer, a visit to this museum is an unforgettable journey into wonder and enlightenment. Throughout my visit, the museum's dedication to education and accessibility was evident. The engaging staff members were always eager to explain concepts and answer questions, making the learning experience even more enriching.

Brilliant place to bring the kids as they are able to touch everything!!! The staff has done a fantastic job of managing patrons during covid - everything was timed (each slot is 2 hours) there was enough staff around to usher people courteously but firmly to the next part of the museum

I think the Hong Kong Science Museum is a great place! Not only for kids but also for adults, because all the exhibits come with interesting facts that many people don't know about yet. My mom and I went to the dinosaur sleepover program and found it amazing. The only thing I found a bit boring was the Pixar exhibit, but over all I think it is a great museum and one of my favourite museums in Hong Kong.

It is a fabulous science museum. Most impressive part is their maintenance of all exhibits. More than 95% of the installations were working in excellent condition. Lots of stuff on various streams of science for kids of all ages, even adults! Centrally located with good connections by busses, not with MTR though.

The entry fee is very cheap. There is not much in there. You can spend 1-2 hours inside the museum. If you have children, definitely need longer time. Very suitable for kids.

Went in the afternoon after a T8 typhoon. Pleasant staff presence and a gentle stream of visitors. The extinction.resilience exhibition was the highlight. For a regular entrance price of 20 dollars i will be happy to return.

We were staying in East Tsim Sha Tsui, so we decided to visit the Science Museum, which was conveniently located nearby. It's worth noting that admission is free on Wednesdays. The museum provides a fantastic interactive experience for kids, allowing them to experiment and engage with the equipment.

What a place! We could have spent the whole day here, including the current ‘sci-fi’ exhibition which features lots of great memorabilia, interactive exhibits and discussion about the genre. The main exhibition includes a lot of hands on learning for both kids and big kids (beware the t-Rex!). We loved it and fully recommend.

Very educational. Too crowded on Wednesdays and long queue on the children entertaining facilities on 3rd floor. We especially loved the Wonder of Mirrors and the puzzle game room. We spent around 4 hours in there and still haven’t finish all.

Great museum for kids. Lots of interactive displays and themes. Some displays are still closed presumably due to COVID restrictions but considering how hands-on the entire museum is, it is quite puzzling what is open and what is not. If the closed displays are due to maintenance then it is not made obvious. Also ridiculously you can't take your mask off to give your kids a snack / water inside the museum. This is beyond ridiculous! Overall the museum deserves 5 stars but the experience leaves a little to be desired at the moment.

Went to their latest exhibition - "The Science Behind Pixar" exhibition two weeks ago. A fabulous exhibition (including movie, workshop & photo taking areas) suits for children and adults. One of the most impressive activities is that we can create our own model from virtual building blocks. Visiting the exhibition once is definitely not enough. I think I will re-visit it in the coming month!

Apply the annual pass then you can access any one of the museums in Hong Kong. If you have Disneyland annual pass, you can get 10% off, please bring the physical annual pass when you apply the museum annual pass. The location is good. Place is clean. Staff are nice. The museum is under renovation. I am looking forward their new facilities after renovation.

The middle Floor was under renovation. I think there are many things for kids to learn. It’s a very good place to stay as in this 34 degree weather. Nice air con and seats for people to rest. There are many security guide to secure the place too( even the toilet) For $20 hkd( for adult, free for kids), I couldn’t find any other place which is better than this Verdict: Recommend to go

Bring your family here in Hong Kong Science Museum if you're just in the City. You will enjoy amazing real Dinosaurs skeleton display. Very informative, educational and entertaining. Just take MTR (train) to get there. People in Hong Kong are very helpful when you need directions. Enjoy!

Nice place to spend an afternoon with small kids. Admission was free. The big apparatus should be viewed on the top floor to watch the big balls spin into the little hole. Some items were broken, like the 3D printing of dinosaur bones, so it was a bit disappointing.

We went to this museum to see fossils of the T-Rex, Triceratops and other dinosaurs. It was on Sunday evening so it wasn't crowded. If you plan to go there, be sure to book your tickets in advance via Klook. We went there an hour late but they still accepted us.

Waited so long to get the admission to the big 8 due to its popularity. Finally managed to find out why and it didn’t disappoint. Too bad it was so crowded and there were too many people who couldn’t really appreciate the greatness of the exhibition. Also hoping there could be more science musem souvenir/memorabilia to take home.

Extremely well planned and well equipped. The hall of mirrors is a revelation and curious to watch. The activities for children of all age groups are engaging and is a learning and wholesome environment experience. The tickets are pretty cheap and should be a must do for all parents The toy shop at the end is also quite well stocked. Great activities for a weekend

It is worth visiting to increase some scientific knowledge, and there are also some facilities that can be personally and physically frightened! Learn to learn and play with you to improve your knowledge and improve your learning ability! But unfortunately there are some aging and out of repair equipment It is a pity to continue to be used by people! I hope that the museum will pay more attention to the replacement of more fresh and scientific knowledge, and everyone's eyes will be widened!
