You can catch the ferry easily at Sai Kung Pier. It’s a beautiful beach, but small. We went on a Monday and struggled to find a spot. The rinse off area is also small and uses well water. There is a concession stand that offers umbrellas for rent and sells food and drinks. There is also a short hike to a pavilion.

Relatively small and crowded beach. You can come here either by ferry from sai Kung pier or a 1hr + hike from sharp island pier. The hike might be a little challenging for beginners especially on a sunny day as there are a lot of stairs at the start. But it gets better when you are near the beach. There are food options here like cup noodles, snacks and drinks. You will need to pay $120 and $100 deposit to loan the umbrella. There are two platforms on the sea to be on and enjoy the scene out in the sea. The pier is only a 5 mins away from the beach.

Insanely clean beach. Roughly 30-40mins hike upon arrival on the boat to get to the beach. Not many people around despite being there in on a hot Saturday afternoon. 🐡 Only this is there seemed to be loads of tiny tiny baby jelly fish in the ocean (I assume they're jelly fish) because you could feel the tiniest sting on your body as you're playing in the water. Could almost go unnoticed but after being in the sea for 30+ minutes you will feel it a bit more.

(Translated by Google) Xiamen Bay is also known as Half Moon Bay. The beach is small but has first-class water quality. The water is clean and the sand is fine. During the summer bathing season, the beach has lifeguards, changing rooms, toilets and snack kiosks. Saigon Pier can be reached within 20 minutes by street ferry (round trip boat).

(Translated by Google) The ferry from Saigon Wharf and Sangjie Island to Qiaozui Wharf costs $30, such as Xiamen Wharf $40. If you start from Qiaozui Pier I, you can go to Qiaozui Beach (Haixingwan Beach), and then to the other side of the rocky beach where there are quartz monzonites (pineapple buns), island sandbanks, and lighthouses, and then go to Xiamen Bay (month Half Bay), turn left from the green railing on the shore to Fenban Road. There are also green railings. Along the way, there are signs indicating to Xiamen Beach. At the top of the black sand is the highest viewing platform and selfie stand. There are two different views. From one side, you can see Huangmaoying, Shek Pik Mountain, Leida Rock, Taidun, Yutianzi, Dacheling Pier, Big Pillow Cover, Tianwei Mountain, Swing Tou Pier, Hengtou Pier, Xiba, Xiwan Mountain, Dasheding. On the other side, you can see Shiya Mountain, Niushui Mountain, Huangniu Mountain, Qiaotou Mountain, Tate’s Cairn Mountain, Fei’e Mountain, Partridge Mountain, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Baijia Mountain, Gouyu Weng, Niuwei Chau, and off Xiamen Chau. In the North Fruit Island, South Fruit Island and the Fruit Island Islands, they began to descend when they saw Xiamen Bay. There were green railings, pavilions and benches on the way. Note that the hand-washing water and shower water at Kiu Tsui Beach and Summer Gate Beach are salt water. (Translated by Google) The red flags and blue flags on the street crossing from Saigon to Xiamen Bay are operated by different families. The round-trip tickets of the two are also divided into dividends and blue, which are not common to each other. The ticket price varies, depending on the situation on the day. (Original) 西貢往廈門灣的街渡分紅旗、藍旗,由不同家族經營,兩者的來回票也是分紅、藍兩色,互不通用。票價不定,視乎當日情況。

Even though this beach is not very easy to reach as it is on a tiny island, the water is very clean and the beach is not that dirty. If you live near Sai Kung and have some time to spare in the summer, definetly come here!

Little beach located 20 minutes from Sai Kung Pier, accessible only by boat. The water is crystal clear. My go to spot on the weekday and in the mornings on the weekend.

It's an OK beach. The water is clean but not very clear. The area is fairly small and the view is not as nice as at some other beaches. In July, even on a Tuesday around noon it was still pretty crowded. I think we went too late. And at this time of year, it's actually not refreshing to go swimming close to the beach because the water here is shallow and quite warm. There is another little rocky bay that you could climb to just to the left of the walkway when you get off the boat. It's obviously not as safe, but a few people went there to swim away from the crowds. The round-trip boats from Sai Kung pier cost $40. For some companies (Wah Kee/red banner, for one), if you have 2+ people, you may be able to negotiate on price. It's a comfortable ride with some nice views. You can also consider getting off at Sharp Island instead, where there is also a stretch of beach (not sure whether it's gazetted/lifeguarded). On the way back, we saw it was much less crowded than Hap Mun Bay.
