Should be renamed ‘Golden Laptop and Mobile Phone Arcade’. There is definitely a lot more of those stalls than computer parts and fully built PCs! The place is still a haven for techies though the prices these days don’t stray far from the prices in the west, unlike the old days. For a local, it would be the best place to buy your components and build it yourself - and I would highly recommend the DIY route. The (lack of) pre builds I saw on display were very badly cable managed and not of a great standard! If you’re into XBOX - you’re $#!* out of luck. You will find plenty of PS5 and Nintendo stocked vendors - it was very rare to find any stocking XBOX games. There were a few peripherals but that’s about it. One thing that did sadden me was that there was no unique handheld systems (No Steam Deck, AYA NEO, Miyoo Mini, ANBERNIC, etc.)

Unless you want to leave mad or depressed don’t come here. specifically there is this one shop which i have attached photos of. Long story short i asked the guy at the stall for a deal since i was planning on buying 2 games. and this dude went off on me and started mocking me becuase i asked for it. he gave me dirty looks and everything, and he started going off with a bunch of insults in chienes, Im an immigrant so i didn’t understand anything he was saying but i did understand one phrase “DLLM”. and i was pissed, just becuase i asked for a small discount *nicely* DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO LAUGH AT MY FACE, INSULT ME, MOCK ME AND GIVE DIRTY LOOKS TO ME, HE WAS COCKY UNHELPFUL DISGUSTING DISRESPECTFUL AND MANY OTHER THINGS. JUST BECUASE I HAVE A DARKER SKIN DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO DISRESPECT ME. I haven’t personally gone to business school but i’m pretty sure YOU DONT INSULT YOUR CUSTOMERS AWAY. I don’t understand why you hire like that someone in the first place. i personally think if your going to work in a customer based job . YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE NICE TO THEM. if your at his shop you might aswell go 3-4 shops down where there is a similar shop who not only accepted my request for a discount, but their prices were cheaper in general. refrain from going to this store so they hopefully shut down

Golden Computer Arcade could be heaven or hell so browse and make your decisions carefully. Expect to find some really good and honest bargains or the exact opposite. Anyway, take your time and look for any catches.

haha, I just want to visit this place because I see it is famous in the internet :). It is really large and I just go in Ground floor. Too many things there, mostly they are technology things for games, networks, TV.... I am not sure they are real with official products but too many people buy them. It seems to be the same with "Nhat Tao" market in Saigon.

I went looking for a mobile (MiA3) screen protector and had to leave the center to look outside nearby for a new screen. I think screen protectors maybe now parsé. Cost HK$30.

Will have all your tech needs, most stores will have mostly the same stick so suggest doing some scouting a day or 2 ahead of time and noting down the shop. There is a cash price and a electronic payment price at some stores so bear this in mind when asking for pricing. Hope this helps fellow tech and gadget hunters.

Electronics for any need: Whether you search for a cable for grand mother’s iron or a new battery for your pacemaker, you will find it here. Some shop owners are very helpful and polite, others are not and not willing to serve you as a customer. Overall, a place not to miss and definitely worth a visit.

A place that must visit if you're looking for any computer related items, parts, books and even specialized musicals system, all under one roof. Congested, follow the flow. Scout around to get a price comparison before any decisions. People are helpful, guide you to determine your needs. Know what you need, sometimes ended up buying extras.

This is a good place to go whether one requires computer repair, data recovery, purchase of computer spare parts, or new accessories. There are a lot of shops dealing with different aspects of computers here, and one can find the shop for one's specific requirement by exploring around.

Best place in Hong Kong for buying videogames and consoles. The Nintendo Switch games are cheaper than the Nintendo online store. Also you can find old school arcade games and controllers. There are some stores for electronics as well with better prices.
