Beautiful public park by Tai Po water front with a long promenade. Great for families and kids to run around and see kites flying. Bike rental shops & food kiosks available inside the park

Family friendly place to enjoy sea breeze, fresh air, and grass thats you can actually walk/sit on (which is quite rare in Hong Kong). There are several grassy areas to do picnic, a designated area for kite flying, vending machines. There’s a long promenade to enjoy the sea view by foot or by bike. Bike rental available too. *TIP: it gets quite crowded on the weekends. If you want a more pleasant and peaceful experience, come on a weekday or in the mornings on the weekends.

We loved this place, such a beautiful garden surrounded with sea. Cycling around the seaside make you feel calm and boost your energy. A nice family garden though. Wonderful place for photoshoot.

It's a must visit in Tai Po. Easy assess with bus, mini bus and train. It's definitely the place that fits the whole family, toddlers and grandparents. It includes playground ,walkway, cycling tracks, open area, cafe, bicycle renting stores, toilet, and lots of resting areas with chairs. It's also a dog friendly park. I started my walk from Tai Wo station, and it's two hours' return.

Is one of the biggest park in HK! Many areas of park has different themes, and especially many types of flowers πŸ’. Have plenty of areas that's very photogenic. Day or night is worth a visit. Took us a few times to found the places we wanted to... Not easy navigate. But definitely worth a visit.

A nice little bit of greenery that runs alongside Lam Tsuen river. It overlooks a large body of water where you can see Ma On Shan on the other side. The gardens themselves are very well kept and have some interest art sculpture and instalments dotted around the area. You will often find kite enthusiasts trying out their latest kites as the park gets quick a bit of the sea breeze from the waterfront.

Overview - Place for flower lovers - Very spacious park near waterfront. - Open 24 hours February is the time for Cherry Blossoms to reach its full bloom in HK. At different locations, you will see different species of cherry blossoms, which are different in colors, posture and distribution patterns. The park provides you a nice environment to observe its growth. Fuji and Taiwan Cherry Blossoms are commonly found in the park. Taiwan Cherry blossoms are double flower like Oleander (倾竹摃). Its flowers are densely distributed and red in colour. It reaches the full bloom always early than Fuji Cherry blossoms. Fuji Cherry Blossoms are pink in colour, less densely distributed on tree top, always standing alone or with one or two in cluster. If Fuji Cherry is a girl, then Taiwan Cherry may be a lady. Remember to bring a camera or a mattress to the park. You can spend a day there.

Tai Po Waterfront Park οΌˆε€§εŸ”ζ΅·ζΏ±ε…¬εœ’οΌ‰is open for 24 hours, there are few public toliets inside different locations of the parks, they are opened for 24 hours too. The park always have people no matter what time it is, I usually came here with friends in midnight after dinner lol. This park is chill and relaxing, a good place for charting with friends or have a small run.

One of most beautiful waterfront park located in Hong Kong. You can enjoy nice breeze and breathtaking views once you enter this park. Also there is a nice spiral tower to enjoy 360 view in the park as well. Further there are rose garden and insects house also located inside the park You can easily get here from Once you arrived to Tai Po MTR station. Its in walking distance from the station. Further there is children park also available inside the park. The area is really spacious and kids can truly enjoy at here. Also there are so many vendor machines have available in several areas of the park. So id you dehydrate when you’re walking in the park then you can enjoy your drink from there. The park area is really large so recommend at least 2 hours of visiting on this. Otherwise you can easily miss lot of sceneries on this Overall well recommended this park to enjoy your free time in here

This place is unbelievable big in the context of HK parks, incredibly diversified in various fields of nature. Just beautiful. It is easily accessible from Tai Po Market train station walking South-westerly direction for about 25 minutes. The places is particularly good for cherry blossom in early Spring and good place to take pictures of such, inter-alia other flowers such as roses. Very good outing place for families.

Excellent waterfront park for leisure, jogging, play time with kids and day out. Need a ride from MTR Tai Po Market Station. Kiosk for snack was under renovation in Jan 2023. Bicycle rental was open even throughout Chinese New Year period!

This is a great park and probably the only urban park suitable for flying kites. On a weekday, you simply own the park. On weekends it’s a different story. One star is taken away for not convenient enough and too busy on weekends.

The Tai Po Waterfront Park is a 22 hectare city park situated on the northern shore of the Tolo Harbour. It opened to the public in 1997 and affords residents of Tai Po with well maintained and managed leisure and recreation space with good facilities and rewarding views of the harbour. Quite a few buses call upon the park including those from the Tai Po Market MTR Station. You can also walk there from the station in 20-25 minutes. This is also a major stop on the very popular Tai Wan to Tai Mei Tuk bike trail. The Waterfront Park has quite a lot to offer. There is expected grassy areas, children's playground areas, elderly fitness equipment, pebble walking trails, kite flying area, model boat pool, an insect house, sculpture installations, public toilets, bike rentals and parking areas and loads of promenade space directly on the sea. A real highlight to visiting the Waterfront Park is the spiral-shaped lookout tower that is just over 32 metres in heigth, affording visitors really nice panoramic views of the harbour, nearby industrial park, the mountainous areas beyond Tai Po as well as the rest of the park, surrounding the lookout tower. Overall, it is a really nice park and waterfront in the Tai Po area and a great stopping point to rest for those cycling through Tai Po.

Hire and ride bikes along the waterfront, fly kites at the main park, quick snacks (crisps, ice lollies, sweets and drinks) at the shop under the spiral. Insect House and beautiful gardens and areas to walk or have a picnic, lots of fun for a couple or a family. Not far from the butterfly reserve so could combine for a day of activities. Only drawback, gets very busy, especially on Sundays.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Other than the football pitch, the dog park and water fountain maybe another hidden place for people to visit. Bringing pet here is welcomed, the sign stated. A bit noisy since this park is by the car road. However, it is relaxing since no one's here.
