You
won't
find
someone
more
conscious
of
good
'price-to-value'
ratio
than
me.
When
I
saw
the
price
of
the
dinner,
I
couldn't
imagine
it
would
be
worth
it.
When
I
saw
the
menu,
with
mostly
dishes
and
ingredients
that
sounded
unappealing
(to
me),
I
braced
myself
for
disappointment
but...
man,
was
I
wrong!
Louise
is
THE
restaurant
I
rave
about
the
most
and
an
experience
that
is
imprinted
in
my
brain
as
one
of
the
best
birthday
dinner
I've
ever
had.
Louise
has
become
a
benchmark
for
any
michelin-starred
establishement
and
-so
far-
remains
unbeaten.
Not
cheap
$1,500HKD
for
the
menu
(not
including
drinks
and
not
including
the
10%
HK
service
charge)
but,
if
you've
got
the
budget
for
it,
go
for
it.
If
you
go
for
the
long
tasting
menu,
I'm
not
super
keen
on
their
famous
'yellow
chicken'
add-on.
It's
fantastic
but
you
will
be
too
full
to
enjoy
it
by
the
time
they
serve
it
and
the
cost-to-enjoyment
value
just
isn't
there
-in
my
opinion.
The
highlight
of
the
dinner
was,
ironically,
an
amuse-bouche
not
included
in
the
menu:
bean
soup
with
cherry
vinegar.
It
sounds
disgusting
but
it
blew
my
mind
:)
