Memorial to unit of SEAL Team Six unit and rescue team shot up in Afghanistan. Michael Murphy received Medal of Honor posthumously for action. Plaques on other side of memorial describe the action and the men lost.

Nice park to chill at..stretch, take a few pictures or pull over to reorient yourself and find directions if you're not sure which direction to go in as most tourists do lol Can find plenty of shade for a picnic if you get a spot under one of the tree canopies in time 😊🤙🏾

Hood open field. Even with two teams of kids practicing have plenty of room to play catch

Pretty quiet park due to low pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Highly exposed, not very private though.
