I can’t say enough good about this company and tour. We started out tour in a rough way, stuck in a parking garage elevator. The manager called 911 and was waiting outside for my family when we were finally out an hour later. They hugged us, prayed with us, and had a van waiting to bring us to the bus at its next stop so we didn’t miss the tour. Dirk was our guide and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He had facts about island history, plants and animals. There wasn’t a question asked that he didn’t know the answer to. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience more of the island than Waikiki.

I highly recommend this tour that is included in the Go City Oahu pass. For those who are intending to book this trip make sure of 2 very very important things. #1 is bring cash. #2 is call ahead 1 day to make sure you are on the list EVEN if though confirmed it beforehand. You must make sure you call 1 say before or you may end up like us… waiting for an empty spot to get on. Stress you do not need, trust me. Kentucky, the tour operator, was so super nice and helpful and got us on the bus with Paul. Paul is a great tour guide. This is a 8 to 9 hour journey and he does his best to entertain us. His jokes are choreographed perfectly to the landscape and the stops were timed efficiently to beat the traffic and crowds. Now, if you are looking to spend a lot of time at each stop, this is not the trip for you. This trip of designed to get all the tourist stops done in 1 day. Perfect for kids. I was happy we did not have to do deep dives into each spot. Also, this is a stop and purchase gifts at your own discretion. The usual tourist traps but I honestly think the vendors try their best to keep things to normal price. I did not feel they are price gorging, but be well aware that you will be pressured by your kids to buy all those tasty treats and fresh coconuts. I was not offended, this is typical in many many circle tours. And the treats were honestly very good. The dole whip ice cream and the garlic shrimp were really good. North shore has high surf because it is Dec Winter so we did not go into the water with our snorkels. I would suggest snorkeling during summer where the surf is lower and the water is calmer. We got back on time at 445pm. On time. Thanks Kentucky and Paul.

Keke was our guide and he is also a local. What better way to get acquainted with the island then to have a local as a guide. He was very patient. There was a screaming toddler on board who seemed to be sick. Why the parents would take a sick child with a cold on a tour is beyond me but Keke serenaded the child while waiting for others to board to calm him down on a couple of occasions. The bus itself was small, about 30 people. We took the back seats which was a little mistake because we needed to wait a few minutes every time we got off or on the bus because the parents of the sick child were either changing him or blocking the isle for other reasons. The company and Keke were awesome though, this was not their fault. On most tours that you need to buy lunch, you try to hurry to get off the bus and order and then wait but running the risk of being late. Not with Keke, he took each party's order in the group, we gave him cash and he made one large order. Then he brought us our food. This was much more organized then other tours Ive taken in the past. Although we have been to Oahu a couple of times, Keke gave us some tips such as a mall where items were less expensive, some beaches that were less crowded and some Halloween activities. He made the tour enjoyable and the sights were beautiful.

This was one of my most favorite parts of our trip! Lani was our tour guide and did an awesome job! He was very informative but added in sprinkles of humor as we toured the island! My kids (14,13,8) had the best time and soaked in all the knowledge. We enjoyed some of the stops so much we went again on our own a second time the day before our vacation ended. It’s a great sampler of all the things and a great way to learn about the island. 10/10 recommended!

I recently took the Grand Tour Around the Island with Island Rainbow Tour and it was an incredible experience. Our tour guide, Schneider, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, its history, and culture. He was able to provide a lot of interesting information throughout the tour and made the experience very engaging. The tour itself was comprehensive. We were able to visit a variety of different locations including beautiful beaches, and scenic lookouts. Schneider was able to provide a lot of information about each location and was always happy to answer any questions we had. He also made sure to include some fun and interactive elements in the tour, such as surfing and a visit to a macadamia nut farm. The tour also included a delicious lunch stop at a local restaurant, where we were able to try a variety of local shrimp dishes. Remember to take $18 for each person. The food was delicious and it was a great way to experience the local cuisine. Overall, I highly recommend Island Rainbow Tour and the Grand Tour Around the Island. Schneider was an amazing guide and made the experience truly unforgettable. The tour was a great way to see the best of Oahu in one day.

This was a great tour of the island. The driver Snyder was very knowledgeable and personable, not to mention very handsome! He also was friendly and funny , and very down to earth. The shrimp stop is a little high; however, there is a stop for restrooms midway through where you can get subway or Jack in the box. We didn’t get to Dole in time to do the train ride, other than that, it was a seaside experience. I’ve been to Hawaii a few times, but this was my first time doing a Circle island tour. They do provide snorkel gear, HOWEVER, soda and water are not provided as stated on the website.

Our tour guide, Schnider was very entertaining the entire day. My husband and I enjoyed being able to see the nice spots of the island and got to take lots of photos and videos at each stop. Schnider played fun music as we made our way back to the pick-up stops and we all jammed out. This tour was a nice way to see a little bit of each gem in Oahu. It was worth the views!

Amazing! Our tour guide Schneider was super knowledgeable and super funny! He had folklore to share, plus in depth knowledge of the island. Every company should have a Schneider - he's an absolute treasure!

My family of 10 traveled with Schneider today (4/22/23) for my moms 60th birthday. Not only is he a local of 14+ years, he is so knowledgeable! He provided so much information throughout the tour and stopped throughout to allow us time to take pictures of the many places we visited. Schneider some how managed to keep great energy although many of us were exhausted from our overall trip. He was so kind, generous, and true definition of patient. We appreciated his candor, fun activities, and even sang happy birthday to my mom despite her being on another bus. We had people of all ages, ethnicities, and he made sure all felt included. When I visit Hawaii next time, I'll be sure to look him up. You guys have a good one, I hope you keep him employed!
