We checked in here for a late lunch and it was a bit of a disappointment. The food was better than it looked like and the beer was alright as well. The place was almost empty and there were a lot of pigeons. I gave only 3 stars for the service because you order online and there's little interaction with a service person. Some people might like it but I found it too impersonal. I imagine the atmosphere will be much better when there's more traffic in the evening. The beer was good and they had a great selection, so it might be better just for drinks in the evening!

I’ve gone by this place a hundred times and finally stopped to see what the hype was about. Their happy hour is wonderful- 10 dollar pizzas and super cheap apps paired perfectly with beer. We got the white pizza, nachos, and garlic fries. The pizza was amazing and made me feel like a decent person since it had kale 🤣 The nachos were simple and to the point- fresh ingredients that make more of an impression than a ton of cheap ingredients. The show stopper was those fries- I don’t care how gross I smell I will eat that amount of raw garlic until I die. Obviously the beer was pretty good as well. Overall solid happy hour go check it if you’re in the area!

It was mine and my husband's first time visiting. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, told we could pick anywhere to sit, and to pull up the menu using their QR Code. We decided to sit at the bar, where we were greeted by the bartender and given paper menus. She instantly gave us our waters and took our order for our beers. Their beer list was limited but had some great choices. We decided to order their pork sliders, chicken bacon and ranch sandwich, and fries. The food came out quickly which was great because we were both starving. My pork sliders were a little cold but not too cold to complain about, had great flavor, and just enough to fill me up. My husband's chicken sandwich was tasty but nothing to write home about. The ambience of the bar was your enjoyable, typical Saturday evening with live music, and not too crowded. The bartender gave us enough attention even when she was being slammed with other drink orders and customers at the bar. I'd definitely go back whenever we visit Hawaii again.

They require you to scan their QR code and order via your phone for everything. Problem is that after going through all those steps and receiving the secure code, it tossed me out of the app. So annoying! But the waitress then had to do it herself and I had to tap my card on a portable device. I do not trust those, but had to. Food is good! Beers were good. Service just suddenly disappeared. We had to wait a long time before anyone showed up. The pigeons are aggressive. They try to land on the table as you're eating. WTH....where is the service staff??

Great brews and typical bar food options. My first time trying any of their brews and went there during their happy hour. You order at the bar and runner bring the food to you. There is no traditional wait staff just place your food orders at the bar. The place is good to unwind and throw back a few pints.

I’m in the restaurants and writing this review. We had fish taco, wings, and calamari. Foods are 4 stars but the service ( a bar tender and floor servers) is 5 stars. Very attentive and well trained (I was a server once so it’s a compliment). Location wise 5 stars. Beers 5 stars but some of the beers were not available which I understand. Definitely come back for coconut beer.

We needed a drink after a long day of eating. We ordered a couple of flights to try the beer and seltzers. They paired well with the edamame in shoyu. Unfortunately nothing else on the menu satisfied my partner. Still the drinks are good and worth just coming to chill here. We had live music so the atmosphere was great. I decided to bring our travelling companions to Maui Brewing on our last night so that we could sample some of the foods. The drinks did not disappoint but other than the edamame and burger everything else got a poor rating. The chicken wings were dry, the thin crust pizza was literally a thin crust. The crust was thin and hard but lacked even the taste of a frozen pizza. The tacos were ok but the side dish of rice was hard and undercooked. The shishito peppers were ok. The odd red pepper was super spicy. My friend’s daughter seemed to enjoy the burger. Service also got mixed reviews. The restaurant should just have the servers take orders and cash out especially with larger parties. Hopefully next time we visit the food improves.

Ordering was a little confusing at first but you just go right up to the bar to order everything, then get a number and find your own table. Otherwise; the live music was great, food was great, beer sampler was really good and the staff were awesome. We got the crispy french fries for an appetizer and the hunter pizza for dinner. Definitely keep the jalapeños, they’re not too spicy and they add some really good flavor! (Pro tip, ask for a side of ranch for the French fries) Both were really good!

Really disappointed with this place. Waited a long time to get in, but then have to pay AND tip before seeing what the quality of food and service is like. Service was ok, but the beer wasn't cold enough, the French Fries were way overcooked (some were actually cremated), the goat cheese salad was missing the dressing that was listed on the menu, the lettuce seemed wilted and not that fresh and the calamari came out barely warm. Maybe we just went on an off day but nothing to suggest we'd go back in a hurry.

Great location in Waikiki. Open air and covered seating. Beware on showery nights the moisture will blow through, ok if not to heavy. Live music was nice. Food orders by qr code and all ordering by app. A bit of learning curve with food and drink application. If a big order hard to track. Code is tied to table, nice connection. Order is not made till you put card information in first, otherwise no order. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cocktails and food higher priced but typical for area.

We only went for happy hour. Not bad for in middle of Waikiki. Staff was mostly on top of things with refills and were very friendly. Gluten free pizza crust available and was a good one. Seltzer, cider and cocktails all good.

Very popular spot on Wakiki Beach. Many of the local vendors recommended we try this place out. We were honestly disappointed overall. The food and drinks were fine, nothing to write home about. Its always quite crowded but the staff are efficient and most of the time can beat seated with food in less than 30 minutes. For the price there are better options around the area.

Its been awhile since I've been to Oahu & being a Maui girl. I found it funny the first place I stumbled into for lunch happened to be the Maui Brewing Co Waikiki. But I'm happy we did. I enjoyed walking up all the stairs to get to the rooftop. Although not to worry there is an elevator option too. But the stairs definitely helped get me hungry for lunch. Plus I liked how you go straight to the bar to order food & drinks before sitting down. So you don't have to wait for a server to come take your order. After walking to our table & getting to look around. I really liked their atmosphere it's modern, open & fun. Plus I just enjoyed the view of the big buildings & palm trees. Definitely a great way to spend time with friends and family. As for the food, I just ordered a water with lemon & a kale salad. Yet I’d have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by how well they paired their ingredients. Cause “The Holy Kale” is currently my favorite & probably the best Kale salad I've ever had. I'm surprised I didn't also lick the bowl it was that good.

Prime location for a brewery, great selection of beer! There’s usually a wait so make sure to put your name on the list and walk around the stores nearby. We ordered a beer flight and some octopus tacos (fresh local octopus). This is a popular tourist spot. The beer is great, the service was excellent but honestly you’re not missing much if you don’t have time to spot by.

Great service and an amazing view Cant go wrong. Prices were super fair given the location. Service was amazing very quick staff and nice bartenders we went Friday and Saturday and sat at the bar. The food was decent the nachos weren’t bad at all. Very clean area as well. One downside is they close super early and they stop letting people in 30 min before they close which is clearly enoguh time for a drink.

Friendly staff, love their imperial coconut porter . Why 3 stars! Fish tacos dry and cold, fries ideal, steak tacos better choice! Also we bought beer for home and the guy told us when we leave to come and pick up so it’s going to be cold.My hubby come and beer wasn’t ready plus they put the wrong one:((

Picked up burgers, kids chicken and a giant pretzel to go and everything was delicious. Services was amazing. Asked for ranch for my kids and the server gave it to me right away so he wouldn’t forget. Would definitely come back. Also get the giant pretzel it was delicious

Staff were great! The burger was great! Why the 4 stars? 20 bucks for just a burger...with bacon added. No fries. We were staying at the Outrigger and were told a 15% discount for food from Maui Brewing Company. The lady up front told me they don't offer that anymore. Maybe it's a fault in the card sleeve from Outrigger. Further looking into...it was for dining in and not applied to carry out. So 20 bucks for a cheeseburger with bacon added and no fries. Disappointing...but I do have to admit...that burger was pretty good. If only the patty matched the size of the bun.

This was our first time going to Maui Brewing and we walked there. It is located in a very pedestrian friendly area that is bustling with activity. Don't forget to take the elevator up, the stairs are two or three flights. Once you get up top, you'll find the space very expansive. The beer selection was very, very good and they also had food although we did not get any this trip. The bartenders were friendly and had great personalities, and we would definitely recommend this brewery to our fellow beer drinkers.

Maui Brewing Co. Waikiki is a lively spot for happy hour and dinner. The front host staff on the street level is extremely rude, but it's prob bc they have to deal with a lot of annoyances throughout the day. The beer selection is good. The pizza is very tasty and fresh. There is plenty of outdoor seating which is perfect for covid. Overall, a good place for a drink and a bite to eat.

Quick service, great waiter, great atmosphere. Kids welcomed. Beer was great and appetizers were ok. Calamari was a bit lacking in flavor, too soft. The fries did have potential to be great but they were loaded with salt. Maybe I’ll come back to try something different. It was my first night on the island.

We stopped in during the first day of our visit to Honolulu. The upstairs bar was spacious, a fun atmosphere and had music playing. The beer was nice and refreshing with plenty to choose from. The calamari was quite excellent and you could tell it was fresh. The happy hour only lasted one hour and didn't go late at all. The food prices seemed normal for Honolulu. It's a shame their happy hour menu isn't a full two hours. The merchandise downstairs was cool but way to expensive.

We had a fantastic late dinner experience here. It was tough getting in...the host outside said they were no longer taking anyone else in for the night...bummer as we'd walked a ways to get her. He told us we could go up and order takeout....We chose to do that...When we got up there were plenty of empty tables available in the multiple dining spaces they have. (You order at the counter and then take a seat with a number.) Just to double check we asked the person who took our order if we could sit after being told we could only do takeout. He answered "once you've made it to this side of the door, you're welcome to sit." So ding one star for the strange, unwelcoming experience at the downstairs front host-desk who seemed to not be in sync with what was happening on the actual dining floor...otherwise the food we got was fantastic. I had the Origami Pizza which was perfectly basic (crust, sauce, fresh mozzarella)...perfectly done in every way...SUPER thin crust (okay maybe it could have used a tiny bit more salt), and everything else full of flavor. This was easily one of the most satisfying pizzas I'd had in a while. My wife got the Simple Greens with Veggie Burger...it's a house-made, grain-filled patty which she thought was well cooked an a nice addition with a macadamia nut crunch (so local feel.) She thought the greens tasted great too, as was the dressing, though slightly overdressed. They're nice enough to label their menu with prominent and colorful V's for vegetarian items an GS's for Gluten sensitive items, and we always appreciate the extra "welcome" we feel when our diets are well represented on menus. We weren't drinking tonight, but if we were we would have had PLENTY of choices of house-brewed beers, cocktails and wines on tap. We'd definitely come back.

We enjoyed the Maui Brewing Co! It was fun getting flights and tasting all of their beers. I got the brewmaster pizza and my husband got the nachos. We both enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, especially the live music and balcony. You do order off a QR code and pay through it. We didn’t have an issue with the system but I can see why people wouldn’t like it. Staff was nice.

I really liked the vibe but it was very hot upstairs. I enjoyed their drinks and liked that you could get a flight which included their seltzer. We went once and sat at the bar just for drinks and another time with a group for food. We ordered the hunter pizza which my husband liked but I thought was just okay. I didn't think it was bad it just wasn't the best pizza I've ever had and I was expecting more flavor and toppings based on the description. I do think the prices are reasonable here compared to the other places in the area. I would return.

Visited Maui Brewing Co in Waikiki for a dinner and drinks, using Open Table to reserve a table. This location is located right in Waikiki, so can be a challenge to find a table at peak times.  Possibly due to COVID this location is not a full service restaurant, with ordering food and drinks through a line at the bar and then finding a table, which a server brings over your food.  This was very chaotic, with  short staffing and very little service after the food was delivered. The food actually was very good, which we had a variety of appetizers and entrees, but all dishes are brought at the same time.  The calamari appetizer was excellent, light crisp coating and fried to perfection, the outstand entrée of our 4 was the fish tacos (4) with thick cuts of fish, and slaw and salsa as condiments. Overall, with the number of options in this area and pricing for service and food, I would suggest a different venue for dinner, especially if you have family and looking for something a bit less like a bar scene. Hints for you visit: Use Open Table for peak times. Look for a table on the balcony for 2nd story for people watching and Waikiki scene.

Awesome brewery and fantastic food. Also a great place to people watch as Waikiki traffic goes by. Take the elevator unless you really like the steps. Nice open air bar with daily music. I had their wings and they were cooked to perfection. I recommend a flight or two of beer before you settle on one to sip the night away. I tried all of their own and there isn't a bad one in the bunch!

Come here back in 2019 and loved the atmosphere and beer. I came back in 2021 and still not disappointed. There was a 45 minute wait around 5pm but it was quick service. There is a line you have to open a tab for your drinks and then can select any open table. I could see the line backing up during peak service. Overall good experience
