Service is great as they have as they have servers costly walking around and checking in. The games to play there are pretty fun but unfortunately some of the parts are broken and if they spent twenty bucks that would be nice. Music is great however it is blaring to the point that it hurts your ears. They could probably generate more revenue with a bigger snack selection. Just get a bunch of stuff from Costco and lay it out as a selection. People would enjoy buying some snacks.

Throughly enjoyed my visits here! Good selection of draft beers and great bartenders! Anna makes a wonderful Mai Thai. Spacious, not too loud (though I was there during non weekend hours at earlier times) and good music! Glad for the draft Guiness too!

I just want to say how lucky we are to have found this spot. Our trip was a week and we went here for five nights ! The staff is incredibly friendly and we couldn't believe how clean the space was! They kept giving us drink tokens, and we kept going back to buy more drinks and enjoy the live music ! People were dancing and we met some wonderful people we now call friends ! The live music was exceptional and very talented! Every night they have live music ! They also had different channels and we enjoyed watching the surf competition! This place doesn't look like much from the front entrance . You would think it was an entrance to a laundry mat or something else. Boy were we wrong !

Great bartenders, late night vibes with locals and tourists. Had a great band and plenty of room for dancing and sitting.

Great place, and the drinks are really good at a decent price. They have live music after 9 pm and all the bands seem to be really good. The servers are super sweet and gave my friends and I special coins for a free drink. And have given free round of shots and also free shots for my friends 21st birthday too. We love this pub. The only time we've seen it too packed was on an obviously busy day like St. Pattys day. But yet we still got our drinks quick!

I only dock one star because the smoke was horrendous. And that was a good night! But if you smoke, or don't mind the smoke, this is the place. Free parking below, killer band (Elephant - they ROCK!), super cheap cocktails & beer, big dance floor, fun times! It's not snotty or trendy, this is an Irish dance club bar at it's best. Employees and patrons and band were super nice. I will come back again and be prepared to wash myself & whatever I wear. :-)

Nice little hole in the wall. Fast and friendly service. They even had skrewball whiskey (peanut butter for those not in the know). You go in and go up, so if you have trouble climbing stairs, this isn't the place for you. Ultimately, if you decide to have a drink, watch your step. Service - 5 Drinks - 4 Prices - 4 Comfort - 4 They even have a dance floor. Which might be interesting.

Great experience. Had live music playing classic hits, and impeccable service at the bar. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

Typical corner dive bar that's a little bit above. It's in the upstairs in a building it doesn't look like much from the outside. Upstairs is fairly modern and they have a decent size dance. Drinks are relatively cheap and usually they have some great local bands there. They have a band 7 nights a week but usually on Fridays and Saturdays is when the better bands from the area play there. On the weekends it can get busy there and depending upon who's playing on what is happening it can get packed. Bands usually play from 9 p.m. to 1 am. The place is open during the day as a bar also. Usually atmosphere is typical of what you would find in a bar. Usually there isn't any trouble there. They don't serve food. If you're in town and looking for a good local band in a place to dance give it a try.

Don’t be fooled by the buildings exterior. Once you go up the stairs it’s a full Irish bar, and live music every night starting at 9pm (classic rock - nothing too fancy). Drinks are priced fairly, I. Fact it’s the cheapest alcoholic drink I’ve had since arriving in Honolulu! Staff are super friendly and fun. Despite his name, “Angry” Dave is an extremely nice guy!

If you like Irish dive bars, this is the place to go! Had a ton of fun listening to the band on St Patrick’s Day! Cash only, can’t remember if this is just a st Patrick’s day thing, but I think so. One star off for the quality of drinks/friendliness of the bartenders

Great local Waikiki bar with a with a wide variety of things to drink. The bartender and staff were friendly making you feel like one of the regulars. The prices won't put a big debt in your wallet like other Waikiki spots. They also have darts and live music on certain nights with a big dance floor if you want to tear it up.

A chill local bar located in Waikiki. If you like live rock music then it's worth checking out. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food is what you would expect from a typical bar. I don't frequent the bar to often but nights I do it's never packed out. Overall it's just another small bar with live rock music.

We saw this saloon on our walk to the grocery store and decided to stop in. It was mid-day, so pretty slow when we came. The first thing I noticed was the size, it looked small from the outside, but has several games inside and an area for live music. The drinks were great and the happy hour deals made for an affordable evening. The cool part is a few locals visited while we were there, which lets me know it's legit. The bartender (female) was amazing. She was quick with our drinks and provided my father and step mom with Irish Whiskey. This place is easy to miss if you're driving. We walked over from the Hawaiian Monarch building.

This is a fantastic little dive bar situated about 5 minutes drive from Waikiki. Well worth the trip - cheap beers and drinks, and efficient service. The band on Fridays - Kai Roots - are fantastic and put on a really good show. A great mix of people and they all look like they're having a great time. Well worth the effort of getting here if you want a great night out with likeminded people who want to have a great time in a hassle-free setting with a great vibe.

Service can get slow when crowded, i dont actually think they have a food menu if they did i didnt see one, great place to go if you want to listen to live music, it does seem the crowd is a more of a mature place to be in.

Not so divy but definite dive bar. Seem to find way here nearly everytime in Honolulu, right around the corner of sweet lil sushi spot Chiba-ken. Most times turned into long late night after stoping in, been lucky making it down the stairs safely each time on the way out... Note, it's on the 2nd floor...

Absolutely terrible service. If you're not a local you won't get even remotely prompt service. 3 bartenders, 8 patrons in the bar, and after 10 minutes at the bar no service was given after being walked away from by 2 of the bartenders who were not serving other customers. Skip this place like the plague.

We stopped in on the last day of our vacation- this was probably one of the best "dive" bars we've ever been to. Amazing live music and the doorman was joking with us most of the night so we had a blast. Overall good service. When we went, they had $5 Mai tais which were very well made. They have a good selection of liquor currently but were out of a few things (hard time with shipping since it is an island and supply chains are having a hard time keeping up)- they can still make ALMOST any drink. They have a little dance floor, some dart boards and shuffleboard. If I ever go back to Honolulu this is definitely going to be my drinking spot. Eat before you go since they don't serve food.

It's exactly what the name of it is, Irish bar. Great atmosphere, bands nightly, and the drinks don't drain your wallet. Stop here before going to Waikiki for drinks. You can relax here!

Went as part of a large group. Service was awesome, the bartender was super accommodating. All in all, superb experience. Highly recommend.

Not sure if they have food or not but the bartender was attentive and fun, the band was really good and the bar is big enough to have a good dance floor and plenty of tables.

Maybe if a band played some music, my impression was different but a canned Guinness in Irish bar is not acceptable in US. Even an Irish bar in Sofia, Bulgaria has draft Guinness. I can say ok an canned Guinness at Irish bar in Yerevan, Armenia but … Interesting thing is 6 bottles Guinness is $9.99 in Honolulu, that is $13.99 in New York now.m, by the way. A $7 canned beer without live music is a bit expensive for me.

Came here with two girl friends from San Diego and found this place on google. Fun local bar with live music. Band was awesome. Will be back here again when in Honolulu.

Mama Bear was our waitress and I was blown away by the service we received. She was amazing and took very good care of us! This place has a great atmosphere and the band that was playing was great!

Irish Rose is a nice place to see some live rock and drink some beers. They don't the most extensive menu but it is still an enjoyable experience to stop by, have some beers, listen to some music, and feel like you're not in Waikiki for a little while. Check the sign outside on your way in for Happy Hour Specials. It's always a good time at the Irish Rose.

If I could give 6 stars I would! The bands are awesome & drinks are cheap. The people watching & vibe make it fantastic. Look out for Elephant & The Ferris Bueller bands.

Came here for a friend's birthday get together. It was fun. The band was good. The dance floor is roomy. Prices are cool for drinks.....my only suggestion is they should serve food/pupus...but on the flip side..we were able to bring in outside food.

Live music is almost always great to have, and this lively spot has a nice mix of locals and tourists with plenty of room and we'll placed tables and seating. The barkeep (sorry man it was loud and I'm rarely good at keeping names) was friendly, accommodating and efficient behind the bar. This is the type of establishment I will always return to. Mahalo!

😐 We checked in here for a late lunch and it was a bit of a disappointment. The food was better than it looked like and the beer was alright as well. The place was almost empty and there were a lot of pigeons. I gave only 3 stars for the service because you order online and there's little interaction...
