Hiding in between two buildings is an amazing small gem. Sing your heart out but pay attention for when your song number is coming up! I keep going and Will again next time I fly In.

The crowd was really awesome but the bartender, who was a bigger male was not friendly at all. I was trying to get his attention to order another drink and finally when he noticed me he told me not to interrupt him. I apologized however he never let it go and singled me out the rest of night until he finally kicked me out by rudely shoving my bill in my face and telling me to “go”. I was friendly and nice the entire time I was there however he decided to play the typical male ego card and attempted to make me feel insignificant. I really thought this would be a place I would feel accepted but instead it was the exact opposite because of him. Will not be going back, do not recommend unless he no longer works there.

Sadly the bartender was more interested in singing karaoke than serving drinks. We stood in line through 3 songs waiting to order a drink. One of the song was "this is how we do it." Well if this is how you do it, I won't be back...

Such fun - karaoke and good company. People were of a more mature crowd and friendly and all there to enjoy some drinks, singling and company.

Do not come here. It's a "karaoke bar" where the owners/bartenders dominate the vast majority of the singing, will act super obnoxiously if someone dare play a song they don't like, and even straight up turn off a song they don't want to hear even if the entire crowd is enjoying it and singing along. Extremely strange behavior for a karaoke bar advertising itself as a relaxed and inclusive place. I repeat: do not come here.

Stopped in here with a couple friends and had a great time after the other bars were pretty dead on a Sunday night. I think it’s a gay bar? But there were lots of girls there too and we didn’t have any issue or weird looks other that one guy saying “when did this turn into a straight bar”😂 Overall super fun time and reasonably price drinks, karaoke was fun too. Didn’t try any food. It’s small but that adds to the atmosphere.

Found this place accidentally by looking for well rated bars in the area. Was a challenge to find, but well worth it. It's much more than just a karaoke bar, the bar staff are great (and talented on the microphone!), if you want to sing you can, if you want to just be at a fun bar with great drink specials, you can do that also. Awesome vibe, recommend highly.

The most fun bar we’ve been to during our trip. The karaoke was so fun and everyone, especially us, had a great time. The bartender and other customers were the sweetest when they found out we were on our honeymoon. We had plans of going out elsewhere after but we didn’t because we had such a great time here!

One of our favorite stops in Waikiki! Having karaoke all day, every day would earn you 5 stars in my book. However, this place has a friendly crowd and great bartenders as well. It's small, but fun and we found ourselves back there multiple nights.

Small dive gay karaoke bar. Had the absolute BEST time there singing and meeting new people. I went with my fiance (male) and he even enjoyed himself. All are welcome and the bartenders can sing - especially the chick, she was awesome! Drink prices are really good compared to other bars. Get there early because it will get packed!

Wow!!! I loved it! Visiting from the USA on a Monday night, but such a diamond in the alley lol Derrick was a great bartender, fun, and down to Earth! It’s a small environment, but the vibe is welcoming and nonjudgmental. I loved it here great spot to go for karaoke

What an unexpected hidden gem. You definitely have to look for this one....but it's worth it. EVERYONE is welcome....as it should be. You owe it to yourself to make the trek down here to be with family and sing a few songs.

My absolute favorite bar in Honolulu... About the size of a bedroom in your house, it's close quarters for visiting. And it's difficult to find which is why it's a favorite. It's down a narrow alley and kind of hidden. Perfect... I'm not a karaoke singer, but love listening to others whether they're good or not. Karaoke is tops at the In Between. The staff is always fantastic, but the patrons keep me coming back. You can expect someone to chat you up within 2 minutes of entering there... It's even non-threatening for introverts. You feel welcomed without feeling exposed. It's LGTBQ+, but welcoming to all... I can spend an entire day here... and I have.

The In Between is literally in between an alley. But don't let the street deceive you. It's the most fun bar I visited while in Hawaii. Good crowd, drinks were good, but most of all, the crew. The 2nd night I came, the bartenders already knew my drinks. Felt at home with them. And kudos on their great singing capabilities. Will definitely come back next time!

This place is AWESOME! It's very small but the bartenders and other customers are so welcoming, and the karaoke is a lot of fun ($1 per song anytime you want to sing!) Cedric, Derek, and Harlan took good care of us and were all super friendly. Can't recommend this place enough if you're into karaoke. Even if you don't want to sing, you'll still have a blast!

Great bar with great vibes. Went only once but loved it. Cheap drinks and good vibes. Some people were great singers (especially the female bartender) but despite that, they were still super friendly after I truly butchered a song. Not a place to go if you are trying to social distance though.

Wow trying to describe what In Between means tome. I'm celebrating my 20th year of being a customer. I've been to Hawaii almost 60 times over those years for work and pleasure. Without fail, In Between was, is, and always will be my home away from home. I've made so many friends, many that have become my chosen 'Ohana. So, if you need to understand what Aloha means, visit In Between. Hopefully you'll meet Bryant, he's definitely one of the best people you'll meet while on the island. The only other thing I can say is, "Come as you are, and leave changed."

Love this place to death! The staff here are phenomenal! Always leave here having had a good time, and always get home safe thanks to the awesome staff! This place is safe haven, and love singing here! Good times are to be had here, so why not take advantage of their weekly specials and $1 karaoke?

Cool Gay Karaoke Bar With A Polite Staff Probably Need Some Speakers In The Back It Hard To Hear The Music But Still Chillin

The patio was a little rough, a fallen pole almost bonked someone! But the atmosphere, drinks, and stay were all great!
