Confined to our home during this pandemic BUT being able to take out and have our food delivered all the way from Honolulu to our home in Kaneohe was a total joy. Kevin Lee and his team have chosen from their awesome menu only those dishes that will travel well. Being former Wine Educators from NYC we really appreciated the feast we had last night and for only an additional $10 delivery fee. Check out our photos. In Hawaii regularly visiting family and was finally able to work a birthday dinner at Pai into the schedule. Well worth it. Sat at the counter and experienced the tasting menu. The food was exceptional. Quite an interesting set of dishes fused from different cultures. My two favorite were the Samoan Crab and the Chilled Lobster. From the time we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and was attentive to us. The counter seats allowed us a great view of the kitchen, but with more comfortable seats than normally accompanies a counter seating. Thenbtasting menu even had a birthday wish customized with name at the top. Not inexpensive, but well worth it for a special occasion.

WOW... and I mean woooooow! We are still here, and we have loved everything!!! We did the Chef's tasting menu, and my oh my....it has been one of the best meals I've had, even better than some Michelin Star restaurants I've been to. The Chef is AMAZING!!! The food is spectacular! I highly recommend to spend a little more and opt for the Chef's tasting menu, it os worth it.

Great restaurant and service. Made anniversary reservations and our menu stated Happy Anniversary. Ordered 2 4 course tasting menus and shared. The smoked drink similar to an Old Fashioned was amazing.

Food is of the greatest quality mind you that your going to pay greatly for it. They have both sparkling and regular water. It's more of a wine kind of place having a full selection of fine wines, a few beers and a selectionof spirits. The manager went out of her way to contact me with an issue I had witch shows me they really care about thir customer service.

Awesome experience! We enjoyed the pre-fixe menu and it was delicious as were the cocktails! The staff there are very welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable.

Absolutely incredible. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. Super accommodating for those who are gluten free as well. Highly recommend!

Excellent prix fixe and a la carte menus featuring local ingredients and well curated craft cocktails. The coordinated service was seem less and accommodating and eager to school us on the process. Akea and Shea stood out, though everyone was great.

Lovely experience in this nice cozy restaurant. The service here is outstanding. I love everything abt our waiter. We had special requests and he followed through and through. Food were all very Japanese inspired and tasted good. The potion was little bit too big for me. Drinks were also very interesting too. It’s not too upscale but not too casual. Perfect easy date spot

Just had the most wonderful dinner at PAI Honolulu. We were celebrating and my goodness did we feel celebrated! Amazingly friendly, caring, and attentive service. Delicious and creative food that was a wonderful show of local ingredients; including some of the best seafood we have ever had. We are staying in Waikiki for our honeymoon and are so glad we made the short drive over to check out this restaurant. Definitely recommend visiting!

OMG! This chef knows how to tickle the taste buds! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. They sure know what wine to pair with what dish! The whole thing was amazing! I did this as part of the Hilton Grand Vacations exclusive event and I highly recommend it!

It’s a life experience. Chef Lee takes you on a tastebud journey with culinary combos you’ve never experienced. His complimentary pairings of mocktails added to the fun. Hilton Grand Vacations added Ben Vegas to the mix, and it was like a concert over dinner.

Simply put, this is the very best meal I have had in the last 2+ years. It may be the very best meal I have ever had. We were lucky enough to get reservations here on our honeymoon and after eating here, I don't know how we are supposed to enjoy any other food on the island. Chef Lee provided so many smooth transitions between American, Korean, Japanese, Thai And Chinese cuisines and did so seamlessly. The textures were outrageous And this staff brought the meal to another level. I can see a Michellin star in their future and wouldn't be surprised to hear that Chef Lee is a James Beard finalist or recipient in the future. The next time I am fortunate enough to eat here, I expect that the secret will be out and his kitchen staff will have we quadrupled to keep up with demand. I remain so incredibly satisfied with everything presented tonight. Outrageous and outstanding still don't fully award the experience of our meal this evening. This is my new, Last Meal. Thank you to Pai chefs, servers, bar tenders and everyone between.

I had an amazing experience at a high-end Asian-American restaurant in Honolulu's Chinatown. The chef's preset menu was a delightful journey of flavors, expertly mixing traditional local tastes with modern American influences. The textures and temperature contrasts in each dish were impressive, and the service was top-notch. It's a must-visit for a unique and memorable culinary adventure. Five stars! Best cornbread ever!
