Walked in, without a reservation and was seated after a five minute wait. Service was great and all the food was good too. I really enjoyed our meal here. The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that I made an order to go, after eating, and they forgot the order of stuffed mushrooms that I paid for. Although I should’ve checked, I was in a hurry to leave, as I had an appointment. Won’t prevent me from coming back but I’ll be a bit more vigilant during my takeout orders.

I had a birthday dinner with my family here. They give free desserts if it is your birthday. The food was delcious. My favorite was probably the mushroom ravioli. Everyone had a great time. Our waitress was very kind, polite, patience, and quick to attend to our needs. I wish i had got her name. I think her name was Roni? Shes a bit older age. She is a sweet lady! This place offers military discounts. I would definitely come back here.

The food was pretty good and had a lot of flavor. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but I can tell there was care put into the presentation. The steak was cooked to the right temperature and the shrimp was perfectly grilled. The pesto sauce that came with the bread and oil was amazing! The waitress was so sweet and did her best to make sure we were taken care of. The prices were a little high but not too bad and the location is perfect.

We have been to several Romano grills in different states and countries. Always awesome staff ,excellent food and cleaned well! Dani waited on us. She was awesome! Food was great! No complaints from us! Don't need a free meal. Definitely will be back! 💚💜

Pass. Service from Jeremiah was attentive. Was asked when we arrived if we had a reservation, no. And the place was 90% empty, hostess told they girl, seat them anywhere. Did the stuffed mushrooms and farmhouse pizza. Both were OK but nothing to brag about. Take a look at the bottom of the menu. Macroeconomic charge, wow

The food is great! It’s a great place to just chill and meeting people like clients they have a good service. Price wise is reasonable!

Dear Macaroni Grill, you need a SERIOUS reality check. We dined at your establishment today November 4, mid afternoon. The restaurant was practically empty. No one was at the hostess stand and those who saw us waiting didn't even acknowledge us. After a minute or two, the seating hostess finally greeted us and sat us in a booth. We then waited another five minutes just to be greeted by our server and have our drinks and food order taken. The only food item that came quick was the soup. What is wrong with this picture when guests are waiting a long time and the restaurant isn't even busy?! Our food was not at all fresh...everything but the soup was lukewarm. Please, if these reviews are taken seriously, you need to restructure and train your employees on everything from customer service to the speed of serving beverages and entrees. This is an absolute disgrace and this type of environment is only going to diminish morale.

Hadn't been to a Macaroni grill in years. I used to love them! First, my drink arrived with a very noticable bug in it. Not floating on it, but down in the drink. The drink they replaced it with didn't even have a garnish or anything. (like the first one I ordered did) The bread was decent, and my husband enjoyed bruschetta. My Caesar salad was edible but my Penne Rustica was just bad. The chicken was definitely reheated. The sauce wasn't creamy at all. I should've returned it but we were tired and didn't want to wait for a replacement. We paid a lot for a drink, salad and bruschetta . Very disappointed. I will not return.

We went on Mother's DayI It was an impromptu choice. It's probably better to make a reservation if can. But, we were still seen pretty quick. I had the blood orange Cosmo. It was super yummy. The best .. I also had a Caesar salad with shrimp. And the stuffed mushrooms.. Yum. The waiter forgot to bring out the mushrooms. So, we had to ask. But the salad was super delicious and fresh!!!🤩❤️ The restaurant has its own bathrooms, which is convenient in my books!!! Hahaha..

Our order for 4 meals was made in person and was incorrect twice; first incorrect noodles for 1 order and secondly forgot the sautéed spinach. The order Spaghetti bolognese with meatballs, didn’t have meatballs when dished at home. The order of spaghetti without meatballs had meatballs when dished at home. All orders barely had sauce to wet the noodles; see attached photo. The order of sautéed spinach was not cooked when dished at home; see attached photo Bread orders had oil but did not have vinegar. For the price, the quality of food was lacking, the ability to provide the correct order and the extra wait time while still getting incorrect orders when we got the food home is extremely disappointing and I won’t spend another dollar at this establishment. Pleasant atmosphere, is reasonably priced for Honolulu. Grilled Salmon was very tasty, pasta was spicy but had fewer veggies than were pictured online. Chicken Marsala was tasty. Generous pour of the house red wine. Cushy barstools. Pleasant, fast service from the bartender avoided the 30 minute wait for a table.

This place is always hit or miss. The food taste is better then other places, however sometimes it lacks sauce. This time I got the chicken marsalaz something I love, lobster bisque and fried mozzarella. The bisque wasn't very flavorful and if you called it a tomato bisque I wouldn't be really able to tell. The fried cheese was good, but its definitely frozen. My chicken marsala was good as it usually is however I always ask for extra sauce if possible but they usually don't do it, probably because of portions control. I like this place, it's definitely not as busy as other places and the food is good

I ordered the chicken Fettuccine Alfredo overall it was a 7.3/10. The chicken cost an extra $6 and it only a couple of bites. When I was enjoying my drink, water from the ceiling landed into my cup, and again when I was eating my food. Overall my rating is lik a 6.8/10.

Had a great time last night. We tried several dishes but the absolute fave was the Salmon with Orzo dish. I wasn't even one that ordered it but was definitely jealous that I didn't.

Liiiisten those Mac n Cheese bites, Soo GOOD!! First time here and I liked it! Our waiter was very pleasant. I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Salad w/o bacon and it was delicious. Very rarely do I finish my plate, this one didn't stand a chance. Lol. And if you enjoy a Great Moscato, hunney, get you a glass of the Seven Daughters! Muah!

Macaroni Grill has always been a wonderful experience for many years, both here and in their mainland restaurants. I first went to Romano's over 20 yrs ago while on business in Kansas City. Soon visiting other locations when traveling. Delighted when the chain finally opened in Honolulu. They have always been a great dining experience with affordable prices, great food and large portions, wonderful service, pleasant and clean atmosphere! I usually dine here on a weekend night, so this was my first afternoon visit (4 pm on Sunday). A great time to go, immediate seating! There were many families with younger children at this time, soon becoming very busy. This is a great place for children because of large open capacity and children's menu. And most importantly, we were delighted to have as our server, Mel (Melanie). She's so friendly, organized, fast, and accommodating. She goes over the top to ensure your entire dining experience is relaxing and complete! Thanks, Mel for being so natural, genuine, and providing excellent service. I have just one suggestion for the Manager or Franchise Owner: PLEASE serve what I had known to be one of Mac Grills signature items and an outstanding presentation and taste, your Italian style nachos, made with thin light pasta rather than corn or flour, and covered with Italian sauces, roasted vegetables, black olive, and Italian cheese. They were the best I've ever eaten anywhere.

My first time at romanos, but I unfortunately enjoyed a few other treats and was a bit too full to fully enjoy my food completely. Which is my fault. But thanks to our server Bianca, I still got to take home the food and have them, the food over all was delicious, and I would have it again. Bianca was on top of it all and provided us great customer service that we gave her a tip that was well deserved for her hard work and giving us an amazing experience, especially for my first time visit with romanos macaroni grill. Also I gotta say the fried mozzarella and Mac and cheese bites were absolutely amazing! 😀 Along with the special truffle Mac and cheese mix. It's definitely different and something worth trying. 🙂

Excellent wait staff! Food was very good!

Had the lamb shank and ribeye along with drinks and dessert, wait was about 45 minutes for the two of us but the food and drinks were amazingly delicious. Particularly the lamb shank. We always enjoy or time here, well worth the visit.

We had a great experience here on a busy afternoon. With no reservation we were seated in less than 10 minutes even though the restaurant appeared to be pretty full. Servers were friendly and efficient with happy attitudes. Food was great and portions were large. It's good comfort food in a pleasant atmosphere!👍🏼

Had the Mama's Trio, chicken parmigian, lasagna and fettuccine alfredo. All three were good, but the alfredo was the best. The fried mozzarella was tasty, too

The atmosphere is great, not much wait time to be seated. Some time getting our food. Food was good. I am not much of a Italian food lover so I cant say its great. Dessert we had, the chocolate cake, is really good and indulging. Bathrooms are nice and clean; establishment is clean. Overall, kids had a great time.
