Great atmosphere, delicious grinds, surprisingly strong Pina Coladas and amazing service all added up to a very great date night. Repeating my self here,, but service was especially great, we had options of second floor or rooftop and we went rooftop. Crowded yet still adhered to CDC guidelines for covid 6 feet safety and mandated mask wearing. Contact tracing forms were also required and I applaud their responsible approach to safety, this is how everyone should act as we slowly open up. Good stuff yo.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love that it has twirly stairs to get up to the restaurant, followed by more stairs to get up to the rooftop which is absolutely exquisite. The sandbar lounge is stunning, sitting right next to the fire pits in sand, while overlooking beautiful views of the city. I thought the New York one I frequently visit is amazing, but this tops it by far! The Grapefruit Martini and the Ahi Poke with taro chips is absolutely phenomenal! Will definitely be back when I visit Honolulu!

Wow, that’s all I can say. Honestly, I didn’t think food at Tommy Bahama would be anything special, but it blew me away. There were too many great apps on the menu, so we decided to order most of them as our meals. You must get the coconut shrimp and scallop sliders, they were incredible. The key lime pie is also to die for. Having dinner outside on the rooftop at sunset just made it all better. It was so good, we went to the TB on the Big Island!

Nice rooftop restaurant downtown. Made reservations for 5 on a Friday night. The two small groups without reservations ahead of us were seated quickly downstairs in the main restaurant. We were seated in less than a minute in the rooftop bar area. There was live music. The kind that is perfectly unnoticeable. The Hard Rock next door is so loud you can't talk when you're eating there. This place was sharp, elegant, and refined. Tommy Bahamas perfectly balances upscale dining with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent! The staff were very pleasant, from the ladies that greeted us at the door to our server Valentine. She made us feel like she was genuinely happy to be there. Her service was among some of the best I have revived on Island. She changed our silverware and cleaned the table between our starters. It was an excellent and subtle touch. This is more common in fine dining establishments so it was a surprise to me and I felt like it was a nice touch. There wasn't anything served that didn't taste fresh and delicious. Highly Recommended for adult dinning. The only reason that this is a 4 star review is because their beer selection is lacking. I was let down when I found out there are no stouts,or porters, or browns at all. That's still not enough to keep me from coming back. Especially when the Tom Colin's was great! The crab cakes were so good looking they got attacked before I got a good photo! 3 people (1 ordered expensive steak) 2 appetizers 2 drinks each $217 + $54 tip that I don't feel bad about giving. Valentine is a 25% server all day.

Best meal I have in a very long time! We ordered lemon 🍋 drop martinis & coconut shrimp, & tortilla soup as an appetizer. My sister ordered the lobster served in escargot form (with cauliflower mash) & I ordered scallops and shrimp with veggies(to-go). We had the coconut shrimp previously in the week so, we knew they were delicious 😋. But the standouts were the lobster 🦞 & mash!!!! Those were the best mashed potatoes I have ever had (especially after adding the lobster butter on top!)... lobster was well flavored, tender and wished I had more!

A really nice restaurant in the heart of Waikiki featuring 2 levels of restaurant above clothing store. They even have a rooftop. The food we had were the ribs w/ mash & slaw. My husband enjoyed it. I had the steak salad which lacked flavor and much different from what I had before. I wasn’t too much of a fan. The coconut shrimp served as an appetizer which was good to have as a starter. I enjoyed the view of our seat location and ambiance offered.

You might be turned off by having to walk through a clothing store before going up to the restaurant, but it's well worth it. The place is absolutely gorgeous! The top floor even has few fireplaces and sand to sink your toes in. As for the food, all hits, with great combinations of flavours... I must have the coleslaw recipe!!! By far our best meal in Waikiki.

Wait, dinner was so good here!! What a wonderful surprise. We didn’t have high expectations, but we’re very hungry & knew it was a place we could count on so we gave it a try and we’re wonderfully surprised! Would recommend and would come back!! We had the fish tacos and the coconut shrimp. Service is great & the rooftop is the move. The store has great Hawaii themed products as well. They have a cute photo op on the rooftop as well! The food portions are large!

I love how depending on the location, there is a different menu. We ordered the wagyu burger, sea scallop sliders, and mahi tacos with an appetizer of goat cheese dip. Everything was flavorful in nice proportions. Our waiter was very nice and polite. I felt they were a bit short staffed, but still efficient. Our order was quickly taken and shortly afterwards we received our food. There are 2 floors above the Tommy Bahama store. The rooftop was spacious and they had a bar on each floor as well. The bartender made a perfect drink for me that was super tasty. Park at the bank across the street to get validated parking. There is no parking at the restaurant.

If I could give this restaurant a 1000 stars..... Stopped in and we sat on the roof, so gorgeous. The drinks were really good and the food was out of this world. We had an artichoke crab dip, filet and the salmon.... totally above and beyond what I was expecting. I have found a location a couple hours away from us, will definitely be coming back.

What a beautiful date we had. This place is amazingly beautiful, and the food is pleasantly savory. We had to wait a little bit, due to CVD19 cap restrictions, but it wasn’t too, too bad. To the contrary, it helped us to walk around and visit some other stores. Once inside, we were seated by the door size windows, and the breeze made the night perfectly romantic to enjoy ourselves. I hope everyone have the same or better experience. We really need more joy time in this beautiful world.

Restaurant is located on the top floor The first level is the Tommy Bahama clothing store The parking is nearby at the bank of Hawaii building for about $7 flat rate The living green wall is memorable and welcoming you up the stairs to the restaurant entrance. I've visited here multiple times, for a dinner with friends, a dinner date, a happy hour with colleagues, a casual dinner and for a birthday dinner. Ive enjoyed the food and the service each time. My favorites are the Wagyu burger, the Macadamia nut crusted fresh fish and the Miso glazed Salmon (cooked medium rare) *The only criticism I have of this place is the live music. It's nice to have live music. Recently when I visited I Requested a local Hawaii song with a $5 tip and the musician didn't know the song, attempt to find it or ask for another recommendation. It was quite off-putting (but not a reflection of the restaurant itself, just the musicians they are selecting to play there)

If your are in Waikiki, worth a stop for drinks, food, and atmosphere. Not a view of ocean or beach but the environment provides a big plus. Food was tasty and the drinks were refreshing for some afternoon heat and sun. The over look of street below provides plenty of people watching. Price is similar to others in area, pricey but worth an en event out.

Service and atmosphere is lovely here. Food is amazing and well priced for what you get. We really enjoyed all of the specials and the drinks. The view is great from the second floor.

When you have the right people in the kitchen, nothing can go wrong! Right from the complimentary house bread + specialty butter, to the appetizers, main course & cocktails - enjoyed them all.. bartender was super fun..overall a great experience, especially on the roof top patio.

Our first visit to Tommy Bahama restaurant and store. Absolutely amazing experience! The staff in both the restaurant and the store were fantastic. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was out of this world, best ribs I've ever had. The products in the store were not cheap, but the quality, choice and availability of sizes were outstanding. Just wish we had this in the UK, but we will definitely be back when we're in Hawaii!!!

Such a wonderful experience. Great service, a beautiful open-air dining area, and a killer menu. Had a hard time deciding what to get because it all sounded so good. Opted for the warmed goat cheese dip to start, then I chose the creole shrimp and crab pasta. Both dishes were incredible! And my husband enjoyed his crab encrusted blue marlin, a seasonal special. We’ll be going back here!

Me and my husband liked it here, modestly celebrated his 30th birthday together! I was delighted with the salad, the meat melts in my mouth 🫠 All the food we ordered was divine, the coconut shrimps with mango tasted unusual! 🤤 The service was worthy of this place! The girl at the reception complimented me, very nice! The interior design on each floor is different, but very beautiful 😍 There was also live music. I recommend!

My husband and I came to Hawaii to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Not only did our food & service (Eric/hostesses) exceed our expectations, but they surprised us with a beautiful desert. It’s little things like this that keep any business thriving. Thank you to all the staff at Tommy Bahamas! We’ll be back and recommend this place to anyone we know traveling to your wonderful state.

Pretty great. The staff was very friendly. We didn’t wait too long and although windows were open it wasn’t hot inside. There was a lovely breeze. We ordered the coconut shrimp which was awesome, a wedge salad, a steak special which was cooked as I asked and a crab cakes meal as well as a few cocktails. We loved the hot bread on the table that came out as well, just wished it came with regular butter, While it’s very good, to me it tasted like hot buttered rum which would be awesome at Christmas but late July it tasted off for the season, I can always ask for regular butter next time though too :) We will definitely be back!

Saturday nights without a reservation is a difficult time to find a spot for dinner. 7pm-ish Most places had no less than a 45 min wait. We were seated in 20 minutes at TB’s. Food was fresh and well prepared. Crispy chips with the dip duo. Salsa and Guacamole are flavorful. Tortilla soup was well flavored and comes in a decent portion. Mac nut chicken was fantastic. Key lime pie left a lot to be desired. Masha’s service was friendly and enjoyable. Restaurant tables and chairs are cleaned between guests for COVID.

It had been a few years since we had been here but as soon as we arrived on the rooftop, we felt like we were back home. The night was beautiful. Molly our server was pleasant and attentive. The food was spot on. Highly recommend at least one visit and using Open Table to make your reservations.

Delightful dinner at Tommy Bahamas. We have tried other locations and enjoy the food choices. We thought we would try it in Waikiki. Ambiance is nice with a lovely view at the top level. Server was friendly and very knowledgeable. My husband, 11 year old son & I enjoyed our dishes that were very flavorful with fresh ingredients. We ordered the coconut-crusted crab cakes, mac n cheese, herb crusted Mahi Mahi, togarashi crusted seared ahi taco. The presentation of each dish was nice and all the dishes were delicious. You can't go wrong at any Tommy Bahamas, quality food.

Good food good service bathrooms need more attention

They have a fancy rooftop lounge. We liked the world famous coconut shrimp but otherwise the food was decent. This is a good place for roof top vibes but not recommended for the food and drinks.

Delicious food, steak was very tender and perfectly cooked. The Mai Tai was amazing. The service was awesome as well. Greg who worked in the clothing department was so kind and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer or dessert.

Great staff - super nice. Open air environment with cool vibe. Food amazing. Try blackened ahi tacos and scallop sliders. So good. Beet salad also tasty and nice relief to cool the palate. We went during happy hour so no prob with reservations. Mai tais yummy. Highly recommend. One note they don't open until 2pm so plan accordingly for a later lunch. To get in you go through the store...beware so many quite excellent choices for that laid back vibe.

We went there upon first day of arrival. For apps we had the Buffalo wings which tasted good to me but it was too spicy for my best friend. I ordered some fish tacos which were delicious. And my bestie had ordered some Creole Shrimp and Crab Pasta. Overall the food, drinks, customer service and the atmosphere were awesome!

We were a group of 11 for lunch at roof top restaurant. The staff at Tommy Bahamas were so friendly and attentive treating us like royalty making us feel very special. We could not fault anything as the service was extraordinary and the food was exceptional. The duo of Dips and Scallop Sliders were absolutely delicious, and the steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an enjoyable dining experience.

Had our wedding anniversary early dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. The 3rd floor, with it overlooking the busy street, was great for people watching while we enjoyed each other’s company. We had a few yummy cocktails which was excellent. I enjoyed the mac nut goat cheese and seafood risotto and the coconut shrimp. The decor and presentation was beautiful and the restrooms were clean. Will definitely do the happy hour reservation again. Also, the staff was fast and friendly.

From host to our server, Jessica K, to all the food that we had with live music on the background - I must say it has been one of the best dinner experiences we had anywhere. We travel quite a bit to Asia, Europe, multiple States to eat different things - but yesterday literally all the stars lined up at this place. Thank you so much for giving us a moment to remember :)

Awesome dinner here. We sat in the roof top area and enjoyed the live music. The only down side was that the music finished too early. We ordered cocktails, the World Famous Coconut Shrimp to share and followed that up with the burger and ribs. Everything was very delicious. Service was great too.

Came here for my 25th birthday. Food and drinks were amazing! I had a Mojito and let me tell you it was loaded. My partner and I had the half rack of BBQ Back Ribs served with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and a salad. Total was about $80 without tip.

For starters of warm bread rolls with a really tasty seasoned butter, then enjoyed a favorite of mine, an excellent Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese with Mango Corn Salsa & Sweet Soy with crispy Flatbread - terrific.

For the amount you pay here, the service is not the greatest. They were quick to seat us with our reservation, I'll give them that. But it took over 10 minutes for a waiter to ask for drinks. Then the food took about 30 more minutes. Lastly, the steaks were asked for medium well and they were VERY rare, almost bloody. I probably won't return.

We had reservations on a Friday night and were seated promptly. The dinner rolls were delicious. The waiter recommended the seared ahi and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and service.

Excellent food, service, and cleanliness. We ordered soup, salad, fish tacos, sirloin and dessert. Everything was excellent. My husband's steak was quite undercooked, but the staff immediately took care of it and gave us the complimentary soup while he waited. Great experience. Our server and the manager were both exceptional.

Excellent rooftop happy hour with $10 mahi-mahi tacos (two tacos instead of three for the lunch portion) plus great $8 happy-hour cocktails. Added fries and a one small key lime pie (not part of happy hour pricing) to round it out. Service was very courteous and professional. Dave took great care of us - even during a passing rain shower.

This place was very nice! Food was amazing, i highly recommend coconut shrimp and scallop sliders! One tip, they validate parking on hawaiian banl building 4hours for $7, dont try to park on the street, because it is impossible to find parking on the street nearby.

I went to panda’s express and the experience was great! I got help when I was confused. Mark explained to me the deals I could get so I know next time! If you need any help ask mark he was really cool to talk too as well!

Food are soo goood, the macadamia crusted goat cheese& mango salsa with flatbread is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Happy hour from 2-5 and live music from 6-8. Excellent roof top table and the staff are amazing!!! Ohhh their creme brûlée with vanilla bean served in pineapple is unreal!!!

One of my favorite restaurants on Oahu. Gotta sit upstairs on the roof top lounge and enjoy the live music. The food is always amazing and service superb. Prices are Waikiki high, but worth it. Join their rewards club and get credits to use during future visits.

Amazing food and rooftop deck! Our group enjoyed afternoon happy hour so much we came back for dinner later in the week. The happy hour menu has amazing food options for such a great price ($10 plates). Our group got all of the items to share. And the drinks are delicious! Definitely worth making an Open Table reservation if you can.

Didn't eat there. Wanted a drink on the roof top to listen to music. Lots of empty tables and no one around the fire pit. Told there was a 40 minute wait. Put our name on the list and directed to wait in ?"garden room"... some garden. No body around. Nobody waiting. Waited 5 minutes and left to wslk back to hotel. Walking 2 minutes and the call that a table is ready. What BS. Where did they come up with 40 minutes when there was absolutely no one waiting. Big management problem

The restaurant is gorgeous but the food and service are just ok.

Very expensive, but you can count on high quality feel, food and overall experience. Live music and terrific outdoor seating most of the time at the 3rd floor/rooftop bar. Another comparable place in Waikiki would be the Hideout at the Laylow, but to be honest I would rather eat there for price; Tommy Bahama had nice bread with spiced butter and Ahi Poke tacos (but with too much onion), but the Hideout has a phenomenal Wagyu Burger and a far superior 5-10pm Happy Hour.
