Me
and
my
wife
went
here
for
my
birthday
dinner,
being
that
we
haven’t
dined
at
one
of
Roy’s
new
restaurants.
Service
started
out
okay.
Drinks
and
appetizers
came
out
on
time.
I
would
recommend
the
chicken
spring
rolls
as
this
is
an
easy
solid
option.
The
poke
that
we
ordered
was
a
“trio”
of
there
House
fish
options.
I
was
not
impressed
with
it
at
all.
Not
quite
seasoned
as
well
as
the
dish
could
have
been,
and
I’m
quite
sure
that
they
used
a
bunch
of
the
trimming
from
there
nicer
fish
cuts.
Some
of
the
pieces
were
quite
chewy
in
texture.
Moving
on
to
our
main
courses
our
server
was
NOT
attentive
at
all.
Drinks
took
over
30
minutes
to
get,
I
had
to
use
a
butter
knife
for
my
fillet
which
was
definitely
not
a
medium
temp
and
our
server
did
not
check
on
us
after
dropping
the
entrees.
I
also
ordered
the
creamed
kale
and
potatoes
liannaise
which
I
had
to
eat
together
because
of
the
creamed
kale
being
so
salty
and
the
potatoes
were
absolutely
bland.
My
wife
ordered
some
salmon
that
I
will
say
was
delicious.
We
actually
had
to
order
our
dessert
through
a
passing
server
who
had
a
different
section
because
our
server
was
having
a
loud
and
open
conversation
with
a
nearby
table.
All
in
all
our
food
that
we
ordered
was
sub
par
at
best.
Service
was
definitely
inexcusable.
And
our
server
even
had
the
excuse
of
saying
that
he
usually
works
day
shifts
and
that
he
was
new.
In
the
end
we
left
with
a
free
dessert
and
a
$50
gift
card
for
the
bad
service.
All
in
all,
our
experience
was
not
up
to
Roy’s
standards
that
we
have.
I
will
always
recommend
going
to
the
Ko’olina
Roy’s
which
is
a
way
better
restaurant
than
the
new
one,
which
was
super
unfortunate
for
us
because
my
wife
and
I
had
such
high
hopes
in
this
location.
