One of the best I’ve tried in Chinatown, and that’s saying something. While the surrounding area is rather dingy, the restaurant is clean and bright. A friend arranged dinner for a group of 20 of us, and so we took up two tables with no issue. The menu selection was pre-arranged and everything I tasted was awesome ... favorites were the lettuce wrap and fried pork chops! Parking tip: There’s actually a lot right next to the restaurant!

Takeout during the quarantine. The food is never dull at Little village. Everything we ordered was tasty. We really enjoyed garlic fried rice! Can’t wait to go back to the actual restaurant when the lockdown situation ends.

Friendly service at this no frills noodle house. Food was excellent. Loved the "breath of the wok" on the string beans but some of our party thought it too much. Potstickers had the perfect crust and a hearty center filling. Some of the best we've had. Dried Beef chow fun lived up to its name. You will definitely have fun chowing down on this food.

Very friendly and attentive staff. All of our dishes were delicious, especially the salt & pepper pork. There are about 5 free parking stalls behind the building, and municipal parking 2 blocks away, which cost us $1.50 on a Saturday night.

A little gem of a place off Smith Street with the best ribs I have ever had…thick, juicy, delicately flavored…just exquisite! The serving was so huge I gave some of it to my friend and by the time I remembered to take a photo, I had eaten half of it. The ribs special didn’t come with rice or noodles, but the side order was great. The staff was fantastic: friendly, helpful, the best I have seen in any 5-Star Restaurant. It is in a seedy part of town, so beware of some of the street people, but well worth the trip! Highly Recommended! Garry R. Lee, MD

We walked in for something small to eat, didn’t turn out that way. It’s been a long time that I had finished my food completely. The menu and watching the servers handle the plates we ordered actual meals. Orange chicken (savory, crunchy, sauce coated) and fried wontons (perfect fold ; juicy with every bite, crunchy)with sides of white rice was what we had. I’m coming back

I had dinner at Little Village at least 20 years ago. The food was authentic and so very good. Fast forward to last night with family, the menu was limited to specialty dishes. We ordered so much and we were not disappointed. The past two years has taken quite a toll on businesses. While Little Village has less space, the food still has the big taste I remember!

Very good! Really big servings, and it didn't take long for the food to come out. Our waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

Stopped by this place while visiting a bakery in Chinatown. I went around 4PM on Friday and it wasn’t busy, we were the only ones dining in. We had the chicken wings (appetizer), salt and pepper squid and dried beef chow fun! It was so delicious and tasted very authentic! The lady was super sweet and nice! Definitely recommend

This place is amazing! Authentic Chinese food! Well priced compared to other restaurants in Honolulu. At the end they gave us a free tapioca dessert. Everything was delicious, will come back again!

A little gem we stumbled upon due to it being later in the day and everything else in the area was closed. Luckily we found Little Village AND there was parking available just feet from their front door. We were the only one's in the restaurant and were quickly seated. The lady that waited on us was super sweet and took great care of us. The staff looked busy prepping for either the next day or a late rush so they preoccupied but we never felt abandoned; even after we ordered and received our food. The food came out really fast and was full of flavor. There were so many thing I wanted to try on the menu but I landed on the garlic eggplant. I loved this dish as it is a heft portion and full of flavor. Huge chunks of veggies and eggplant smothered in their special sauce. They forgot a few side items we requested, delaying us eating for a couple of minutes. Many places in the area are known for or heavily advertise their noodles. Tone of noodle shops to choose from and that was my intentions until I saw the menu. I almost felt it a crime to pass on the variety and flavorful dishes that caught my eye. This is a definite spot I would go back many, many times to try everything on the menu.

My family loved everything we ordered. My husband got the bbq ribs, the special for the night. The meat fell off the bone they were so tender. The portions were very generous. Super friendly staff and quick service. I would highly recommend.

Small local business, friendly staff. Food was excellent. We had 6 people and shared a variety of appetizers, entrees, and rice dishes. They are very accommodating for allergies and vegetarians. The waitress recommended a few dishes. Honey walnut shrimp and hunam spicy fish. Peking Duck was the nightly special and was awesome. Definitely bring your appetite or share dishes.

Went here after reading on several sites that it was among the top Oahu Chinatown restaurants. It was mid afternoon and empty. Staff was courteous. Food however was very average. Ordered house seafood noodles. Noodles were nice and crisp but sauce was salty and had a slightly fishy smell (fresh seafood does not smell fishy). Szechuan chicken and broccoli beef were also salty. These are pretty conventional dishes so should have been easy. All in all disappointing for the price.

TERRIBLE!!! I hate to do this but my goodness, no rice with the szechuan chicken. No broccoli or and vege or rice with the orange chicken nor will the lady on.phone allow you to purchase a vege. And the beef and broccoli had 5 small pieces of beef and 4 pieces of broccoli. This place caused this negative review, NO EXCUSES! Don't get ripped off here, find a better takeout spot. Hope this helps out......

It's been a while since I go as takeout the almond shrimp, lettuce wrap & beef with broccoli for lunch. I don't get to china town too often. Everything tasted so good and as I remembered. The 🍤 was the best, huge and à lot was given too. Too bad we could not dine in.. It'd have been perfect for 5 star rating. Keep up the good work.

Sorry..I've been here maybe 5 years or so ago. It was all the hype at the time and it stood up to it. I regretfully cannot say that anymore. Salty, oil soaked spring rolls, no balanced taste w/orange chicken (if there was any chicken in the dough?) Roast duck again nothing special, black bean cake noodles..watered down black bean sauce and salty) white rice(who can screw that up?) They did. Hard, burnt, probably reheated rice..green onion pancakes..skip it, again nothing special. No offer of hot tea. No offer of dessert. And..we had stomach aches that night. Ugh...scary!!

Me and my bf stumbled on this place after a more “famous” restaurant was way too packed and I’m so glad we did! I had the beef and broccoli while he had the Cornish hen and both were so good! Everything is seasoned so well, good portion sizes, and everything tastes fresh! I think this was some of the best Chinese food we’ve had. They don’t serve lunch plates- but for the quality of food I thought it was worth the price!
