AMAZING pork banh mi!! The pork is so so delicious and there is a lot in the sandwich. Generous amount of pickled veggies and cilantro, as well. The other dishes we got were also very tasty and hit the spot. Overall, yummy Vietnamese food and an extensive menu. Highly recommend!

Picked this place at random, chinatown can be sketchy depending on the day and season. There were no customers except 1 after we walked. I didn't use the restroom so I have no idea what the facilities are like. I do know that the Pho comes in the biggest bowl I've ever received. & it was delicious! I had the ox tail, my husband had the 2 combination vermicelli & said it the best he's ever had. We had the shredded pork rolls & the deep fried spring rolls. Of course you can't leave w/o having a thai iced tea, we had several 🤙

I've been here over a week and have not seen anyone disinfect the tables like this man. They even spray every seat! As far as the food goes, you have to get the Pho Special with the ox tail, it's so good! Plenty of veggies and meat!

We had the bun bo hue and I really enjoyed it! My partner, who is Vietnamese, wasn’t as impressed. We both agreed that the noodles were well cooked and that the broth looked was flavorful. She, however, pointed out that “something was missing” but she just couldn’t quite out her finger on it. Anyway, the staff was super friendly which made our experience that much better!

Vietnamese food restaurants in Honolulu is very competitive. I was very drawn to the information that they make the stock from bones, herbs and vegetables everyday. Pho stock arrived piping hot thanks to the Bitesquad. Everything we ordered today was fresh, pho was wonderful. Taste is 5 stars but the beef salad meat was pretty tough containing muscle part which made very difficult to chew. 1/2 of it had to go. We also ordered home made chili oil. Unfortunately, I read the fine print of ingredients. I wish they didn’t add MSG in it.. otherwise perfect oil. I will order from them again!

Updated 1/18/2021 Been eating here off and on since 2000. They have been in business 21 years, in chinatown. I think based on that alone, it should tell you something, since most business go under withing the 1st year. The faces have mostly changed over the years, but the food is still awesome, and the staff is very friendly and warm. My family always feels like we are home when we go there. I recommend the Super Size Pho Combo (Pho Dac Biet). This place, although shares a name with the location in Aiea is much better in quality. The Pho was delicious as always. I can't wait for their new location to open near Ward Center!!! Its about time! End update The good: Probably the best Pho in Hawaii. Been going here for over 18 years, and I cannot find a better tasting Pho. The Pho stock is very light color and clear, but the taste is very beefy! Make sure you taste the soup before you add any extra ingredients. The price is better than most of their competition, including Cuu Long in Pearl Ridge. The Bad: Not much is bad, except......normally I cannot finish a Super Size Pho Dac Biet or I struggle. I ate it pretty quick today, and was not completely full. The bowl size is the same, but maybe less noodles? The ugly: The place is surrounded by many foul smelling homeless and druggies. Go in the day time, and don't leave valuables in the car. Highly recommended!! Best on Island. Same Staff in over 18 years....maybe more. I almost gave 4 stars, only because of location and all the homeless around it.

I ordered the bun bo hue and had no regrets. Everything you can get here is super delicious and authentic. Plus the service is fantastic. They even sanitize the chairs along with the tables between each customer. I’ll be back here in the future and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We got the summer rolls and it was really refreshing (could use a little bit more veggies) but still outstanding and an amazing sauce that went with it! We also got the lemongrass chicken and beef vermicelli noodles. It’s amazing and would definitely try again

Good sized portions for the price (plates come with a side of their delicious pho broth), very tasty, and the service was great; super friendly & efficient. Looking fwd to visiting their new location when it opens.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Sunny was so helpful and our food was delivered with much swiftness! We parked at wal mart and we’re looking for a place to eat and we stumbled upon this little gem. 5 star Vietnamese food for sure! My vegetarian Pho was so tasty! And the dragon sauce is the perfect kick to add to your soup. Thank you Sunny!

Always exemplary customer service & deliciously flavored broth for their pho with good portion sizes... My son chose the super bowl combination. 🍲🥢 Their rice & noodle dishes are also delicious. Been going there for 10 + years & haven't been disappointed thus far. 🥰💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️

Food was delicious 😋😍! The only thing I did not like was the location...(we dined in) but I did not take away a star because that is out of the restaurant's control.. I do believe the food here is a must try, very flavorful, and great portion sizes. 👍👍 I will definitely be back for my Vietnamese cravings 😊...

This was some of the best Vietnamese we every had!!! We could probably eat here every day for weeks. The food was sooooo good and the people were very nice. Don’t be scared by ge area out on the street which is sketch and kinda scary but this place is so worth finding

My experience was great there. The Vietnamese dishes was excellent as well as the service. We ordered the Vietnamese steak sandwich, spring row appetizers, and the large bowl of pho soup with noodles and vegetables and the works. Just two of us, my friend and I, had an awesome brunch. I would recommend to stop by and have a great meal if you're in the area. What a great experience I had and I enjoyed myself very much.
