👍👍 Great kabobs, good service, and happy to see a good Persian restaurant in Oahu. The chicken, kabob, and salads tasted great. Nice small restaurant so try and get a reservation before arriving as there isn't much seating inside. People often mention restaurant, good, Persian, stew, kabob, order, beef, chicken, ordered, delicious,

This was our first time eating Persian Cuisine! My 11yo and I really enjoyed the food! When my husband and son return home from their trip, we will definitely be coming back! The Combination Kebab was delish!

Do not order Kabab in this place. Ghormeh Sabzi was good. The place was very small and the service was quite off. We asked if their doogh was carbonated but received a non-carbonated doogh which was super salty and mixed a whole glass of water with it. Salad was ok.

We were greeted by Jeremiah (Miah). He was very polite and went over and beyond the call of duty to serve us. The food was great! I wish they offered more variety of Persian food such as Tadik with gheyme , Fish kabob with Sabzi Pollo , Zereshk (Barberry) Pollo with Chicken , Lubia Pollo and etc.

We ordered the cucumber dip, beef koobideh (kebab), gormeh sabzi (beef stew), and gheymeh (lentil stew). The food was all delicious and our server Miah was so nice and attentive. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be coming from people that aren’t familiar with Persian food, and it is an acquired taste, but this restaurant reminded me of home :) 10/10

Amazing Persian food! Such a treat! Love the rice and Kebab! Their stew is home made and lovely! Brought all the nostalgic back! Thanks Mike and crew for hosting us yesterday!

I am Persian and tried this Persian-owned restaurant during the end of my visit in Honolulu. I was impressed by how great and authentic this Persian food was. My husband and I got hummus, dolmeh (grape leaves), and beef kabobs. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was so friendly. Sad that I didn’t find this place sooner on the trip because I’d definitely go back!

We were traveling to Honolulu and had an amazing experience in KoKo restaurant. We tried Beef Kebab and chicken stew and both were phenomenal. The beef kebab was very juicy and well cooked. The chicken stew was very delicious and full of Persian flavors. It also has very calm vibe and the staff are very friendly and caring.

Absolutely incredible experience. I have never had Persian food before, but came with my Iranian friend. He was impressed! The food was delicious, filling, fairly priced, and very good for you. I will definitely be a returning customer. I suggest the kebab combination plate and the cucumber dip. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

It was our first experience in this restaurant. We tried to enjoy our food, but the quality of food was terrible as we still have stomachache, headache, and nausea. The meat of Kabob tasted and smelled weird, never had such awful kabob in our life. It seemed the meat was old or spoiled. Next was the tomato that is supposed to come with kabob. They first brought a tomato after five minutes and it tasted like it’s burnt with some sort of metal and when we said it smells terrible the waiter said oh yea because of the grill and without apologizing took it and said he will bring another one. And he brought it right after we were done with our food. We also had another food, eggplant stew. And it didn’t taste like eggplant stew. According to their menu it was supposed to have split peas, but we could barely find split peas and the eggplants were dissolved and the taste was not like an eggplant stew. We wrote our suggestions on a receipt and didn’t leave extra tip than what we were charged. The waiter who seemed to be the owner came after us in the parking lot and retuned the receipt that they had already crumpled and said we don’t need this. I felt scared to see him there, coming after us. I barely leave a bad review ( I think it’s my second one in 10 years) but since they didn’t listen to us and we still have a bad stomachache and need to go to the urgent care, I don’t want others get sick similar to us.

I’ve seen this place for a while and decided to give it a try. The pictures on Grubhub definitely looked good. My husband and I were extremely disappointed in our meals when it was delivered. The spaghetti was so dry and the serving size was for a child!!!! I ordered the combination kabob and it was not worth the $25!! The dressing we ordered was wrong and no utensils with our meal even though we requested it. We paid $50+ for something that was not worth it. I do not recommend this place.

Delicious beef kabob with a side of rice and salad. Also had some of their naan bread which was so tasty. Worth the drive or walk out this walk and gives you a more intimate feel

Yes it takes a little too long for the food, but it is well worth it. Flavors are genuinely fresh and fulfilling. The ambiance is cozy and all you really need is good company and a cold beer 😉

I arrived for a takeout order, after the restaurant staff marked it as ready for pickup. When I arrived they told me it would be ready in 5 more minutes. It actually hadn't even then started yet and took 45 minutes more after they told me five. The staff and clerks lied to me and several other people who were waiting repeatedly promising them it would be 5 minutes. I understand good food can take awhile to prepare, but there is no reason to lie to your customers.

Food was absolutely terrible. First time ordering from this restaurant I got the chicken kebab and bread i spent almost $25 on that meal and nothing on that plate taste good. The chicken was already burnt and taste like charcoal. the rice was sticky and already loss it’s taste. The bread looked good but tasted no different than the rice and chicken. If i had dined in i would’ve certainly asked for a refund. I bought it for dinner with the hope that i eat it and have enough energy for the following day(I’m fasting) but I should’ve sticked with the restaurants that I already know. The guy that took my order was nice and friendly (zack) but i wish the food was good.

We ordered for delivery via Uber Eats and registered utensils as we were at a hotel. It is hard to rate the food when you have to eat with your hands..... To me, this is just the restaurant saying they don't care about their customers. I won't be back.

I’ve been a patron for this restaurant several months now. The quality of food is average, but quantity is definitely below the bar. Most recently, I placed a delivery order via Uber eats and they missed one of my orders. When I called, the lady who answered the phone said “yes your order is here, do you have anyone to come and pick it up?” Well, if I wanted to come and pick up the order I wouldn’t have gone trough the trouble of using Uber eats and paying extra fees and tips for the item to be delivered. I won’t be spending another penny here.

I was so excited to order some Persian food tonight. I ordered beef kabob tonight with many other items on the menu on uber eats. I received everything. Except the beef kabob :(- I received the rice and salad but no kabobs on it. I was so disappointed, lost appetite. Having just rice and salad is no fun. I called the restaurant, the receiver apologized but said there is nothing she can do. I would have to contact uber eats. Clearly this was forgotten from the restaurant, it would be nice to refund or send some kabobs over to replace.

Excellent Persian food in Oahu, Hawaii. We had Soltani Kabob (Kobide & Chicken Kabob) and Eggplant Stew with Doghe (traditional Persian drink- yogurt drink). The dish comes with salad as well. The Chicken kabob and Kobide were juicy and they were really delicious.

Slow service and they delivered a beef stew to my wife when a vegan stew was ordered. Once my food arrived it was tasty, but my patience was certainly exercised. The waitress was very nice, so it was hard to get too mad.

Ordered delivery from Uber Eats tonight, and it was delicious! Can’t wait to order again! Husband loved the beef kebab, and I loved the gyro, grape leaves, and cucumber dip! Awesome naan bread! Can’t wait to order again.
