A lovely Mom & Pop restaurant with Okinawan dishes. Try the fixed priced menu options, or the excellent bitter melon tempura.

Hide-Chan is pretty excellent, yet it is so humble about that fact that you may never think to go there. But if you like straightforward, very tasty and often hearty Japanese food, and you don't mind dining in a brightly-lit, thinly-adorned (but very comfortable and clean) room, your stomach will be happy you came. Super friendly staff, too, and not too expensive -- ranging $10 to max $20 for dinner entrees, depending on what you want. Menu is straightforward, and there are daily specials on the wall. Recommended.

This is a cozy little restaurant with really good food. Their Oxtail Soup & Pig's Feet Soup are probably the best I've had anywhere. It's probably because they don't use any MSG in their cooking. Everything else is also really good too. From their Tonkatsu to the Tempura. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good Japanese Restaurant.

Food was delicious, and it was really nice to see they have some Okinawan dishes such as goya chanpuru. Fast and polite service. Both of my companions and I really enjoyed our experience here.

Family owned restaurant specializing in various Japanese cuisineicuisine addition to Okinawan specialities such as champuru. I had the miso rafute and the pig feet soup, which I highly recommend. Restaurant only accepts cash so be sure to have some cash on you when you visit them. There's a FHB close by so you can go there if you need to hit the ATM. Parking is limited and they are only open for takeout on Tuesday-Saturday from 11 AM to 4:30 PM! Be sure to call beforehand to place your order!

The food is nice. The service is very good. The cleanliness of the restaurant needs improvement. A cockroach crawled across my husband's and my feet, and a customer nearby had to kill it for us. The restaurant apologized, but I wonder if this is a common thing here. :/
