Absolutely excellent. After a long hot trip of looking for parking, made the cafe a first stop before we saw the art. I would consider myself a burrata aficionado, having tried many places and countries, and consider the silky cheese/fresh flavorful tomatoes and fresh herbs to be among the best I have had! Nice overall menu....steak salad was perfectly cooked for medium rare. Nice wine list. Make sure you incorporate this cafe into your visit.

The food here was very surprisingly good for a museum restaurant. There was a great menu selection that could meet just about anyone's palate. Portions were of good size and presentation was beautiful and well plated. The attention and service of the wait staff was very good as well. The courtyard and patio dinning really added to a relaxed and comfortable dinning experience. I would go back just for the food, but if you plan on visiting the museum, make sure you plan to have you lunch there. It is well worth it. Prices were also very reasonable for everything overall.

The staff suggested getting a snack at the coffee bar on the other side of the museum. I needed a full meal and a table to sit at to feed my baby. Not a very family friendly or realistic option. I wish I had known to make reservations in advance; there were no warnings.

Love the museum. It has great collection. It’s small but nice selection and each room has nice sofa to enjoy and appreciate arts. Very welcoming and soothing atmosphere. Cafe was awesome too.

I would have never expected that one of the best meals I had is at the Honolulu Museum of Art Cafe. Filet mignon burger was the perfect portion to be shared with 2 people, the medium rare beef steak could be sufficient as the dinner for the meal. We were lucky that we arrived at the cafe 5 to 10 minutes before the last order. You may also make a reservation ahead to ensure that you have a spot for seating.

Inspiring place to bring the kids for lunch and learning. A perfect blend of urban, art and outdoor ambience. We started with brunch, did the Gallery Hunt, and took pictures in the various courtyards. Definitely adding this to our rotation of weekend family-friendly activities.

Had the salmon, very tasty. The Arnold Palmer was unique and would order again. Very friendly service.

The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. On this visit the service was okay. While there were plenty of servers on the floor, many were avoiding eye contact making difficult to get their attention. The kitchen practically drowned the salad in dressing instead of placing it on the side. :-/

We typically dine in at museum cafe / restaurant to support them. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Honolulu. We had burgers / sandwiches but they tasted much better than hotel restaurants in Waikiki. (We stayed at Hyatt, Hilton Garden inn and Hilton Hawaiian village.) They don’t have kids menu but can prepare cheese pasta for kids and probably something else. As described at their webpage, reservation is highly recommended. We went there on Saturday and had to wait 40 minutes.

Nice ambience, brunches are better than the lunches I have had there. Now, if they could only upgrade the coffee bar. Had the worst tuna sandwich ever there. It was served on a refrigerated ciabatta that was tough and stale. Please, never serve ciabatta cold, it tastes like dry cardboard then.

Had a great brunch experience at the café. Food was excellent, service was excellent and the atmosphere was also excellent. We knew we were going to be in the museum so we made reservations at the café. Something to consider.

The staff were very helpful, and the food was great. I would highly recommend getting a sandwich from here. The food is relatively inexpensive, too.

Portobello sandwich was delicious but messy. The upside down pineapple cake is to die for. Friendly waitress with cat socks. We shared cat stories and pix. Hidden lunch spot in Honolulu. No admission fee to eat lunch and visit museum shop.

The service was friendly. Our review is based on receiving allergens after advising the staff several times. After notifying the staff it was quickly taken away and another dish given. We advised them not to bring another plate. They did charge us the full amount. The manager didn't come. Do not recommend for anyone with dietary restrictions.

Visited this place last Sunday and we got free parking right in front of the museum. We enjoyed all their food and drinks, very delicious especially the Steak with the sweet sauce. We also had the Mimosa, Shakshouka, and Lemonade. Price is a little bit high but we got what we pay for. We will definitely return.
