This is a MUST if you want an island experience with great views, phenomenal service, and food that will make you have a hard time putting down the fork. From Ruth, our Server, to Pasha, the Manager, to Jay, the Chef, there was one perfect moment after another!! This was our first meal as an engaged couple, and we couldn’t think of a better way to remember the day. Do not pass this gem up. Make a reservation because tables go fast. You’ll see why!!

An incredibly fun spot for honeymooners! My wife & I came for dinner & drinks and had one of the most fun nights of the trip. The view is incredible, music was on point, and the drinks are delicious - especially the Islander which we couldn’t stop ordering! Food highlights had to be the Fish Tacos & Lilikoi BBQ Pork Ribs. My wife is a tough taco critic and she loved them. Ribs were fall off the bone tender and the sauce flavor was outstanding! We even came back later in the week to hang at the pool and order a few more Islanders 😂 Service was also super fast and friendly!

Took my mom to brunch today and had a great time! The food was delicious and service great as always. We got the fluffy pancakes and eggs Benedict to share. I also ordered a mock tail and my mom got the margarita - both excellent! Prices are a little high, but honestly this is Hawaii and with a view like that it’s hard to complain.

Here’s the thing - Deck. is highly recommended and was on our list of places to hit when in Honolulu. I just can’t give it 5 stars, though. The food tasted great, but was incredibly overpriced for the portions. I was confused how a $30+ piece of salmon was the same size as a 6 oz portion you buy frozen at the grocery store. Complete rip off, if you ask me. What’s more, every single dish was overly salted. The poke flavor was great, but it was two spoonfuls surrounded by 10 oversized chips. Again, given the price, I was not expecting two spoonfuls. We ordered two appetizers and a main course to split as well as 2 drinks apiece. $150+ later, we weren’t even full. *However, the drinks were incredibly tasty and I do recommend those ($9 mai tai mondays!). If you can come on a weeknight with specials, do that. The bartender is a wizard (as you will see in other reviews).

The Deck was a great experience. My nine friends and I all ate dinner there a few nights ago for one of my friends' birthday dinner. Being so close to Waikiki beach, it was very convenient to find and all we had to do was take a short bus ride to the entrance. Going up the elevator, the doors opened revealing the aesthetic scene we are about to eat in. There were lots of plants and greenery, beautiful Diamond Head and sunset view, and lots of helpful staff. We were seated and ordered, the service being great and attentive. We took our time taking photos and taking in the atmosphere, as we weren’t sure how many times we would be able to come back. I eventually ordered the Deck burger and it was great. The bun was toasted and the ingredients were combined nicely. It was super juicy and overall a great burger. Personally, I don’t love the greens that they put on the burger so I took them off, but other than that it was delicious. In addition, I shared a plate of chips and guacamole with one of my friends, and that was also very good. The only complaint is that there wasn’t nearly enough guacamole for the amount of chips that were on the plate (Also that it was $16). A few of the others in my party also ordered the burger and it shared similar good reviews. One of the members ordered the eggplant dish and it looked very good and he said it was pretty good tasting to match its look. At the end, it was very easy to split the bill three ways and we walked out with our stomachs full. My friends and I shared laughs and celebrated a great birthday with a great dinner. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal with the family or with friends.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, recommended by a friend. We opted for fried calamari, garlic prawns, and the catch of the day (unfortunately, I can't recall the fish's name). While everything was delicious, the standout was definitely the garlic prawns. Their incredible flavor was enhanced by the curry sauce that accompanied them. The drinks were also excellent. The restaurant boasts a delightful ambiance, complemented by breathtaking views in the background. Live music, performed by a talented individual, added to the experience. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff. I certainly plan on returning whenever I'm in Waikiki. For those who are driving, you can park at the zoo located across the street at a rate of $1.50 per hour.

We came for breakfast, fairly early, not too busy. Our waitress started out fairly attentive & even gave us good suggestions on food. We had an excellent view from our table, however after receiving our food, we never heard from our waitress again. Not to offer us refills on drinks, not to ask how we were doing, not to see if we needed the bill. We sat trying to get her attention for over 45 minutes after finishing our meal. Once we finally got our bill, they had charged us for an additional $30 for things we never asked for, or received. Food was good, but service was well below a minimum effort.

This was the perfect happy hour restaurant. The restaurant is located on the third floor of the hotel. The restaurant is almost entirely outside and has a view of Diamond Head. Happy hour runs from 2pm-4pm. We arrived around 3pm. We were seated in an outdoor area that had something above us providing shade. We ordered a root beer and the DECK. House Blonde Ale. Both drinks were decent but fairly priced ($5 for root beer with unlimited refills, $7 for beer). For food, we split the Guacamole (and chips). The guacamole was good but we wished we had a little more to go with our massive pile of chips. We also split the Glazed Chicken Wings. We were hesitant to order them because of the unique flavor (chili black vinegar blaze with macadamia nut butter), but we are so happy we did. The flavor was delicious. The wings had a lot of meat and were cooked well. I gave the service four stars because our server was very social with another table, resulting in slow service for us and he charged us for a drink we didn't order. He was friendly though. And the food came out quickly.

Hip spot to watch the sunset AND see the majestic views of Diamond Head. First off, make a RESERVATION and you will be famous. Second, try many different plates because the variety of dishes is outstanding. The have a huge selection of drinks, local beers and carry Sapporo. I believe we literally had the best seat in the house which was right by the fire pit and watched the sun go down. Love this place and the staff and service is impeccable. The Deck is on the second floor of the Queen Kapi'olani Hotel which is right across the street from the zoo. While there check out the portraits of the Queen and her family. The Deck is super cool, super chill and a must do.

Great view of diamond head. I like to take out of town guests here for brunch and lunch. Loco moco, French toast, kale salad with drinks were the favorites of my guests. Friendly service and lively atmosphere. Music can be loud depends on where you sit. Réservation highly recommend Park at the zoo.

The service is very slow here be prepared for that if you are coming at night time. Probably short on staff from covid? The staff is extremely friendly and polite. The food was standard. The view is amazing though! The food and drinks are reasonably price. I would come back for the friendly staff but it’s extremely busy and understaffed. I recommend coming during the day when it’s not busy!! The food and drinks tasted better. Probably because they can handle the amount of people!

The food was delicious! The view was spectacular! $8 Mimosas. If there is no cloud coverage the uncovered seating can be a bit too much. Erin was our server she was really nice and helpful.

Photos can be deceiving, the power lines run right next to the balcony. We went for a late lunch which is a limited menu (brunch ends at 2, dinner starts at 4) but during happy hour 2-5. The lilikoi margaritas were refreshing. The menu was bar food, the truffle fries, wings and sliders were pretty good. The salmon katsu was a dry salmon cake which I didn’t enjoy.

One word: Tyler! He was an amazing server- fast, impeccable, friendly, informative, and always right on time with the next drink. Thank you Tyler, you're super! The ambience was outstanding. The view of Diamond Head, the breeze off the ocean... We were there at Golden hour, the light on the patio is breathtaking. The food was ok. We had beef sliders and salmon cakes, which were good, but definitely not something to rave about.

Really unique and delicious french toast! We also had our rehearsal dinner and welcome event at Deck and had a great time. Drinks and food were really good. Special shoutout to the bartender, Mina (sorry can’t remember all the names) and Lindsay!

Our 1st meal here we had breakfast very good. Highly recommend the frenchtoast. Dinner was Cheeseburger and fries (wife), I had the Poke dinner. Live entertainment was fantastic.

Great view of the Diamond Head, go before sunset so you can get a great picture! The rooftop deck is nice and open, although it felt noisy since it’s located right next to the pool area and there can be a lot of kids running around. Their drink menu is interesting although they ran out of a few things we wanted. We ended up ordering choice 2 or 3, my friend got her drink mixed up. The food portion is big for their entrees. Some of our food (fries) were blown away by the wind, keep your belongings safe!

I went with my partner and had a lovely experience. The server was very prompt, funny and kind. We ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees, cocktails and shots. We had dined at a couple restaurants during our stay and the food was the best that we'd experienced by far. Far better than Chart House that we'd dined at the day prior and less expensive. I had the salmon that was perfectly cooked with a side of mashed potatoes. My partner had a burger (not pictured) that tasted better than the steak we'd had the night before. We will definitely be coming back in the future and highly recommend this establishment.

Absolutely stunning views, vibrant atmosphere and an accomodating and kind staff! Swordfish was delicious but the Poke was really good. Great music and overall fun night out.

Nice restaurant in an iconic hotel in Oahu island. It has great views if you are there during daytime. In the evening you can enjoy the breeze and light music. Food quality is okay, and so was the service that we received. We ordered Old Fashioned and Deck Lemonade for drinks, Brussels sprouts and chicken wings for appetizers, Island Spiced Rubbed Chicken, Eggplant Parmesan, and Marguerite Pizza. A place that can be tried at least once.

Nice restaurant! Went for brunch on my birthday right after hiking the diamond head trail. Beautiful view and great ambiance. Everything we ordered was delicious

We really enjoyed our brunch here. Service was good. The food was better than expected! Many people are saying come for the view, which was great, but come for the food too. I wish I would've had time for a specialty cocktail - they looked great.

This was a delicious dinner and I am glad I decided to stay in my hotel instead of going out. I had the Kauai Garlic Prawns and a slice of Tiramisu. The prawns were in a curry sauce that wasn't too spicy, but the flavor was still wonderful. The Tiramisu was overpriced for a moderately tasty cake. Not enough coffee taste. The atmosphere was loud, but the Christmas music helped make the human noise bearable. Would I go here again? YES I would.

We had breakfast here before we hiked up to the top of Diamond Head during our stay in June. We had a large group so I had to make three separate reservations. It worked out but they weren't able to seat us near each other. Not a big deal. The food was good. The view get's a 10/10. Can't beat it. Minus the annoying power line. Was a little pricey but you're paying for the view I guess. If you're looking for some good photo's of Diamond Head this spot is really good. Right across from the zoo. It’s located inside the Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel. Took us an extra round driving around trying to look for it. The view was amazing as others have said! We arrived around 1pm and it was very sunny. We sat in the shade instead of the uncovered balcony and it was not hot at all. It was very airy and breezy. We had a good time enjoying the brunch menu there. $38 Steak and Egg was a good choice. The Chicken Wings were veryyyy good! We also had $10 Side Salmon and it was a good value option too. This place came with a perfect view and atmosphere but not too overpriced as it seemed. Highly recommended!

Had a late dinner on a Saturday night so we missed out on the view. I must say the staff and service were the star of the show! Everyone was so kind and gracious. When the manager took plenty of pictures of our group for us and even set up good lighting. Once he found out we were celebrating a birthday he brought over complimentary shots and made sure to let us know when he was leaving for the night. The food and drinks were great as well!

Absolutely phenomenal. This is the place to be! You won't be disappointed with anything here. The service is superb- Jessica is a master mixologist, Tyler is an extremely personable server with the best recommendations and the manager was excellent. The guava ribs just melt off the bones, the truffle fries were crispy and tasty and my boyfriend said the burger was the best he had ever had in his life. The cocktails were so unique and tasty. You will leave extremely satisfied. Don't sleep on this place!
