Was quiet, nice little walk down to beach. Great area for boogey boarding, surfing, windsurfing. Bring water shoes, can be rocky in some areas in the water.

Surfers and swimmers that want a break from the crowds around Waikiki will love this spot. Nice waves, clear waters, with less people. The carport is small so get there early if you can. From the carpark, there is an excellent lookout. You can see miles of pristine waters. There are no amenities on the beach. But that means less beach goers and more serenity. Feeling energetic? The Diamond Head trail in nearby. Walk up, get some pics, then head down to the beach to cool off.

This was an experience. Definitely wear sneakers. I love having the railing for portions of the hike up since I have bad knees. Take water. There are places to take breaks and sit. Not a bad hike and the breeze was such a welcoming bonus. A must do…the view is lovely however it would be so much more epic if people did build all over such beauty. Looking out over the ocean is breathtaking

Don’t go to Diamond Head without checking this out first! The walk down to the beach was so beautiful. When we went there was only about 2 other people on the beach with us. It was quite windy when we went down there so hold onto hats or just don’t wear them.

Nice little spot on beach road. But I'll warn you it's tight and you may not find parking at certain times. Not sure how the beach is as I only go for the view...sunsets here are on fire!

Admire the view from the overlook on Diamond Head road or walk down to the beach on the path near the lighthouse and enjoy surfing, swimming, beach walks in the crystal clear waters and sparkling ‘diamond’ sand. There are no amenities at this beach. If you walk farther away from the entrance, you’ll likely be able to find a section just to yourself!

A beach park by the Diamond Head Road nearby the Diamond Head Lighthouse. It seems to be a popular location for the locals coming for surfing away from the tourists and the crowd. That is quite a path to walk down the hill to get to the beach. The washing station doesn't work down under however there is another wash station on top of the hill that works so you may wash off the sand there.

Amazing sunset, beach was not packed. We made it just in time to watch the sunset. It was very relaxing, the breeze was nice and cool. I enjoyed watching the surfers. If you don't want to take the walk down to the beach you can park your car on the road and still enjoy the view. You will also get an amazing view of the lighthouse. Take a little something to eat and unwind.

The 5 stars are just because this place is essentially an awesome sunrise/sunset spot overlooking the water high off a cliff of Diamond Head. Very beautiful views morning or evening. Epic and very Iconic surf spot for the few locals willing to travel that far into the Waikiki area. And mostly my 5 stars here keeps others far away from my personal hidden treasure.

Nice beach even though there’s a lot of reef rocks near the shore if you want to swim. You can park on the dirt on the side of the street. Showers on on the top entrance. Pay attention to tides and slippery parts of the rocks when walking beyond main beach area. There’s also a few old naked dudes who chill here so be warned. It’s a really cool beach to check out at the base tip of Diamond Head.

We made our reservations ahead of time with parking fee included. The am slots fill quickly. The hike at times is narrow, uneven and steep. The stairs are narrow & go straight into a tunnel but you're not done Pack water! No refill station at the top. The view is absolutely worth it.

Really good hike to go down to this beach. View is amazing and definitely a quiet beach, not crowded at all. Definitely good to relax and just see waves

After 22 years… i finally get to climb this iconic dormant volcano again. I was 29 and single, no kids and i held a $1 rental flashlight i got at the foot of its entrance. Now… flashlights are no longer needed… the steep steps are now festooned with movie like lights. Dont overestimate yourself unless you have strong cardio. The steps take your breath but the views in the end are breathtaking !

Warm and beautiful beach! It’s so awesome the fact that it’s in the back of Diamond head crater! Very rocky beach, wear water shoes if you want to enjoy without touching spiky rocks

Good beach area for relaxing. Water clear. Not crowded when we were there on a Wednesday around lunch time. Many surfers. Good hike from parking area to beach. Rinse station at road but the one done by the beach is broken. Great views.

Love grabbing some tea or lunch and sitting here for a few mins. Great views of the ocean and surfers. If you’re lucky you’ll see a mongoose! If you leave your car just make sure to take anything valuable to you and lock the doors.

So beautiful and wonderful. Great waves, not heavily used like the tourist beaches. Over if the best.

Sparkling sands and great view of surfers. Excellent parking and a long walk down to the beach. Lots of dog owners hoping for poop fairies.

Small beach South of diamond head crater. The swell here is pretty big. Seems to be a favourite for wind surfers. Can get windy here so don't let go of your hat. Also when it does get windy the and stings.

A lot more chill than Waikiki. Definitely enjoyed the chill. Beautiful beach, waters, and wildlife

Great spot for surfing. I would swim with caution because it's very shallow and rocky. The sand is very fine and there are plenty of spots to lay out a towel. Parking can be difficult.

Nice hike to the observation platform. Great views. Steep stairs at the top and a nice tunnel as a suprise.

👍👍 The best beer selection of any brewery on the island, in my opinion. IPAs, lagers, pilsners, and porters all have really good flavor. I guess that's all that matters being a brewery because the food seems to be hit or miss. The burger was great, but not much flavor on yhe calamari. Prices seem a lit...
