I went to school at St Andrew's Priory, so suffice it to say, I spent a lot of time here in the Cathedral. But on this visit, I was bringing a Scottish Heather plant given for my father's funeral & I just wanted some peace. And I was not let down. The doors were open, the cathedral empty except for the organist practicing. It was as beautiful as I remembered, and a perfect place to spend a few minutes on reflection. Of course I will be back.

The Cathedral of St Andrew in Honolulu is definitely worth visiting, even if you are not religious. It has absolutely beautiful Stained glass, which is so impressive in person. Everyone is made welcome here. You can walk around and look or take a pew and reflect. I have always found church architecture fascinating, and I always feel at peace when Iā€™m within the sanctity of a church.

Beautiful stained glass windows! The service is in the traditional Episcopal style with a wonderful choir and organ. The clergy are also very personable. Definitely worth a stop if you're interested in the history of Christianity/Episcopal church in Hawaii, or if you love stained glass.

A beautiful cathedral, and a great place to visit in downtown Honolulu. The doors are usually opened, so easy to get in. Like most cathedrals, donations are accepted but not required.

Beautiful gothic architecture and masterful stained glass. Parking in the front was $12 for two hours, but it looks like there was free parking in the area. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was empty, so the experience and photo opportunities were great.

An oasis of peace for body, mind and spirit. A beautiful building, a welcoming and vibrant community, heart of the Episcopal footprint and next the lovely St. Peter's

Became one with two, and two became one. This reality carried my conscience into the realm of true reality, a reality that one can only feel, and not truly perceive, because to truly perceive this realm, would be oblivion. Oh sweet oblivion.

Absolutely wonderful congregation. The clergy are very warm and friendly, the choir is excellent, and everyone is welcoming without being pushy. The architecture of the church itself is awesome as well. I'm very glad to consider this cathedral my new home.

The choral music in this church is fantastic! The service was quite meaningful. Stained glass windows that open wide, and ceiling fans provided continuous breezes, making it quite comfortable despite the lack of air conditioning. Although admission is free,, and open to everyone, it is courteous to make a donation (of any size) to support the maintenance of the church and its programs.
