Eastside playground. Experienced divers will have a blast here. Wouldn't really recommend it for beginners, but great spot if you are already comfortable in the water. Be mindful of swells and currents, you can end up further than expected quite quickly. If you're jumping in, look for your exit point before you jump in so you can mentally prepare yourself for the climb back up. Have fun, be safe, and if in doubt; don't go out.

One of the must visit spots on Oahu, this is a great place to watch the sunset and take a dip in the ocean. The spot is famous for cliff jumping and surfing and since the cliff is not that high (around 10 feet or so), the jump is doable for most people. The spot is located at the southern most point of Oahu and is around 20 minute drive from Waikiki. After you are done with your hikes during the day, you can just visit here to enjoy a relaxing sunset.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It was an absolute gorgeous place and a must see. We went early in the morning when it was drizzling a bit. Had the place mostly to ourselves with the exception of another couple walking the opposite side of the China walls. There was a beautiful full rainbow over the water with a surfer and sea turtle swimming around. The Lava rock was slippery and very sharp. So, be careful. Great place for a lunch date.

Great place for enjoying the view, looking for whales, or jumping into the water. Waves can be rough here, and you need to be both a good swimmer and climber. Not too high, though.

This is a really great place to come to watch the sunset or even cliff dive into the ocean. The waves get pretty big here so therr are quite a few surfers in the water, even in the evenings. It was extremely crowded during a Sunday evening on a long weekend. Jumping off the cliff is relatively safe here, but getting back up can be a little challenging with the slippery rocks and large waves.

This was super cool! Really fun to jump and watch people jump. Really extremely easy to get to. You park in the neighborhood and then walk down a little trail. The views from the cliffs are really beautiful too.I would suggest jumping from the tall cliff only because if you go on the lower cliffs they are very slippery and we got washed away by a wave and a little scraped up. So if you stay on the upper higher cliff you are better off.

Must park a block or more away and walk through the neighborhood to the China walls. Interesting tidal pools with live animals. Beautiful view of the oceans. Great spot for snorkeling and jumping of the walls into the ocean. Swim at ur own risk, no lifeguard on duty.

Definitely a cool beach. Located in a neighborhood. When we went, there was only 3 other people. I parked in the neighborhood and walked to the beach. There's no sand shore, it's all rocks. So if you're looking for a sandy beach, skip this place. Still a beautiful beach to visit, chill on the rocks, and watch the beautiful blue waves washup.

China Walls is a stretch of lava-rock ledges and cliffs above the ocean. It is a popular spot for experienced surfers and cliff jumpers. China Walls is located in the Koko Kai Mini Beach Park, which is part of the Hawaii Kai neighborhood. Here are some things to keep in mind when visiting China Walls: The waves can be very strong, so it is important to be a strong swimmer. The rocks can be slippery, so be careful when climbing or jumping. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk. Be respectful of the property owners in the area. The best time to go cliff jumping is during the summer months, when the waves are smaller. China Walls is a popular spot for photographers, as the views of the ocean and the rock formations are stunning.

Great place to watch some surfers and a great view. If you are a tourist, do not go anywhere near the cliff of the rock, the waves are unpredictable and many incidents have happened here.

Awesome place to watch the sunset. It was really crowded because it's a popular place to cliff jump as well. You have to park in the neighborhood along the street and walk to China wall.

Not for the faint of heart or beginner swimmers. Beautiful location, no facilities, parking is limited to neighborhood. When water is calm, you can get good waves for jumping. If a bit rough this can be VERY DANGEROUS and they have posted sign. Too many people lose their lives because they think they can handle it or shouldn't have gone in. Can be loads of fun just respect the water and current and neighborhoods.

Awesome spot for a sunset. Its a younger crowd there, partying and having a good time. Looks very dangerous to be in the water, but many were out there. You go through a quiet neighborhood to get to it. You have to park up the street a little.

A Hidden Gem in the residential neighborhood. I have no idea how it gets such a name but it seems to be a very fun place to enjoy the wave and the splash. I will recommend being very careful and not going there by yourself in case anything happened as there's no lifeguard and the wave seems to be very strong at some point. If you're not a strong swimmer I would not recommend going into the water since even for a very experienced swimmers it may be dangerous. It is a very beautiful and lovely location to enjoy the waves, enjoy the time, and again just be safe.

Excellent sunset location on the east side. This place is a hit with the local crowd and can be crowded towards the evening. You do have to park in the residential neighborhood and walk down to the spot, there is no specific parking. Make sure you do follow the signs there, cops usually hang out and ticket people who are illegally parked. The water can be rough and I would only jump in if you know where to get out and you are an experienced swimmer.

Amazing surfing to watch as they ride along the wall. Swimming is fun or if you just want to grab a drink and have fun hanging out along the wall. Itโ€™s always a party at China wall.

Very crowded during sunsets. Itโ€™s a surf spot (left). Could be better with less peopleโ€ฆ

This is such a fun place to hang out. My wife and I had fun watching the locals and others jump into the ocean, had good talks, and watched the beautiful sunset. One of my favorite stops on Oahu.

Gorgeous place to watch the sunset and take portrait pictures. It's a local spot so the majority of the people having fun are locals that will dive into the water and swim near the cliff edges, so swim at your own risk if you dare. Apparently sometimes you can watch whales here, unfortunately we were unable to see any this time.

Best sunset I've ever seen in person. Lots of people just hanging out enjoying the view. Super fun jumping into the water. I would be careful though because the rocks can get slippery.

Quite a hidden place. Awesome views. A huge hangout spot for the younger crowd and of course a mixture thereof. People come here to mostly hang out, drink and eat. Some people will swim/hang on their boards. No sand though. Nice to see a different sunset.

Amazing spot. Be careful and be prepared to park in the neighborhood and walk down. Beautiful views. Great vibes both times I went. Will always come back any time I visit. Best to watch what others are doing before jumping in if you havenโ€™t been, can get hairy fast if youโ€™re not ready or paying attention.

Tucked away. Quiet little suburban neighbor hood of light street parking is limited to make sure to get there by the place. Diving candy treacherous. Recommended for those who are the adventurer and willing and able. Could be a great surf spot as well

Parked in residential streets and walked 2 mins to reach the walls. Nice spot for lunch, sun bathing, or swim and cliff jumping. No restrooms though

Super dope, locals hang-out. Attracts tourists who crowd the rocks looking on. On weekdays, can be very chill and great spot to watch the waves.
