This place is beautiful if you just want to chill out. Lots of fishermen and surfers come here as the water is very shallow but it's not beachy...only a few spots along the beach to comfortably sit. It's a slope. Other than I love this park. You can definitely throw a mean cookout here. Also catch either sunrise or sunset! It's quite reefy with kukui nuts and coconuts on the ground. Please forgive the homeless as they tend to trash the place and leave items. Looks like I might have to bring my gloves and trash bags again. This'll be my 3rd cleanup. Aloha and mahalo for reading. If you need to pull over off the road real quick, this little parking area and beach park has some pretty spectacular views. Pretty birds and a rest room too

It was really nice park.. There is a decent size grassy open area next to a beach with picnic tables trees all around and a public bathroom. Small parking lot but not too small maybe about 30 stalls. There were people walking their dogs, chilling at the tables eating lunch, an going to the beach with their family...Cool place to chill and enjoy the day.

Ohhhhh nooooooo. I could BARELY make it out in the water it was so rocky and so much reef and gunk to get through. The beach is non existent, it’s mostly the park with grass, some good palms for hanging hammocks, but do NOT go here for swimming.

Kawaikui Beach Park is the perfect spot if you want a laid back, no major frills beach and park day. While the beach isn't overally wide, there's a 3 feet swath of sand between the grass and the ocean. That was OK for us! You can find shade, grassy turf, picnic tables, benches, and nice views of the ocean and hills. The bathrooms are typical public restrooms. They looked like a wet dog shook off in them and Joe Biden stickers can be found on the toilet seats. They are open air and not only have great ventilation, but excellent views of the palm and palm covered beach park and the hills and homes to the north.

It's a cool beach but not much of a shore line but there's a bathroom a Pavillion a few tables and shower with parking lot, bus stop nearby I gave it 4 cause although its great during the day at night the whole place is filled with giant toads

Cute little park. Not for swimming though. I was looking to swim and the sign said there was a strong current, I only saw people fishing and some surfing. Did not get in. Other than that, no one else in the water. Not much sandy 'beach' area. Big open grass field with tables periodically throughout. Great for hanging out. Dog friendly and people playing yard games.

Great park near the ocean, not ideal for swimming. However, ideal for picnics, photo taking sunsets or headed out to the surf breaks.

Rocky beach, apparently a popular fishing spot. Abundance of ghost crabs. Unfortunately, the restrooms were completely taken over by homeless.

Had our wedding ceremony here. Beach view is beautiful, with a small island in the background. Then you turn around and have the best view; the green mountains. Really good for photo shoots. Looks like a decent place to play in the water too, as I saw no Lava rock mixed with the sand.

Beautiful beachpark for picnics barbecues, wedding photos, surfing, kyte surfing, and fishing. I love hanging out reading. Outdoor showers, indoor dressing room/ restroom is clean.

Perfect rest area or family picnic spot. It is just next to the main road with spacious parking and easy exit of the road. Lots of space to sit or lay down. Picnic tables available. Direct access to water with shallow waterline and spectacular view. Restrooms on site. Road sounds not too high and allow for good rest.

If you ever want to visit a lovely park, this is a wonderful Park all you have to do is look it up you can look it up on the map and it's got a beautiful view and the water is really nice and the restrooms are clean

This was the perfect spot for my wife and I on our vacation. It's a great spot to just lay out, relax, sit and take in the beautiful site or have a small picnic, which we did.

Great beach park to see a bit of ocean life. My group and I pulled over randomly and decided to explore. Wear water shoes and step slowly. If you sit still for a while you’ll see school of fishes and a little eel.

Very pretty and cute place for a picnic and pictures, but not for swimming unless you're gonna surf. The ocean floor is very rocky and lots of algae growing too. You can still go for a dip, but I recommend you wear water shoes, especially if you have delicate and sensitive feet.

Small public beach park in Aina Haina, Oahu, frequented heavily by surfers and locals. Parking usually available. Appears to have been recently cleared of squatters and vegetation. Many picnic tables and benches available. Noticed that high water mark extends to grassy lawn in one place. May be indicative of sea level rise along south shore of Oahu. No life guard.

It is really good to walk your dog at night time is not to much people. It's actually pretty clean... so if u take u dog keep it clean the same way the beach is nice tu see the sunset but to much rocks

Kawaikui Beach park is great. Although the location is more park than beach, the water is nice for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding or surfing if you swim far enough. However the parking lot is rather small and you will most likely have to park down the street in a residential neighborhood.

Not too many people come here. Nice shady park. Not completely sandy like Waikiki, but nice, windy, and grassy beach / park. Bathroom is on the cleanER side. Plenty trees and shade to have a BBQ or picnic.

This was such a fun spot. Watching the windsurfers enter the water was super fun.

Small park so short walk to the water. The grounds and the park itself are clean. More importantly, it is not crowded. My only complaint is that since it is close to the main road, noisy cars can be heard.

This park is so amazing I love the fact that you can sit at a table in the shade. The bathroom is clean and the shower is in working order. The best thing I like about this park is the care taker. He is such a wonderful person and friendly too.

Nice, quiet place to relax and look out over the water. If you surf, you can paddle out a pretty good way for some decent breaks. The beach is dog friendly. Has restrooms and showers. Also there are some nice shaded areas if you dont want to be in the sun all day. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the water is not that crystal clear blue green that we love so much out here.
