Love, love, love this place to start and end a hike. Since Covid, the nature center itself has been closed. So, I don't know what the inside is like. Great to have a restroom and a spicket to wash mud and dirt off after a hike. One of my favorite local spots!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! We had our baby's first birthday party here and it was perfect! The birthday package is great for kids aged about 3 to 10, which was perfect cause we had lots of cousins and other kids attend. The activities are so adorable, the price is perfect and everybody had such a great time. During the party they take the kids for a little hike, do some nature activities, and then go fishing in the stream (with nets, its mostly for fun and science rather, its so cute). I love Pauline, I love the Hawaii Nature Center, and I cant wait for my baby to attend their camps or classes when she is a little older! Totally an awesome and unique kids birthday party venue on Oahu!

Amazing organization! Our 7 year old daughter has just finished 2 weeks of camp and has loved it! She is exhausted every day and comes home talking about all the amazing nature she saw through the day. They go on hikes, find leaves, plants, millipedes, etc. She, and we, love it here! With COVID they have done an amazing Kobe making sure the kids are safe, but interacting (social distancing on hikes, etc). Highly recommend!!

Great hike, clean bathrooms, and thank God for a shoe cleaning station with a brush. After the hike you will definitely want to clwano ff your shoes, it's muddy but has great views.

For a nonprofit nature center, they are very unfriendly to unscheduled visitors looking to learn more.

😍, did a ten mile hike around tantalus. Don't ask me the name of the trails but went through Banian trees, bamboo forest and epic views of the island

A gem right in the heart of town. My 4 year old sons LOVE coming here and doing classes with Aunty Pauline. Every time we leave a class, we are so happy and full of peaceful bliss, being in nature and exploring beautiful Makiki Valley. I highly recommend HNC!
