Beautiful place, to go for a walk or hike. Also the drive up is very scenic, with lots to see. I highly recommend it. I also went on a hike, where I found tons of macadamia nuts and banyan trees. Very pretty hike.

Great view! Other places in oahu you gotta hike to get this view. But here you can just drive up lol

Very peaceful place with great area for picnics and family gatherings. You will have a nice view of Honolulu coast line, including Waikiki and Dimond head.

Beautiful state park with great trails and stunning views. The lookout is breathtaking and it's typically not too busy. Be kind to the land and pick up any litter you see. Stay on marked trails and don't leave rubbish behind.

Beautiful views and trees. Well kept trail, not overgrown. Towering trees over you.

Great 200 degree city view. Picknic tables. Parking. Grassy areas. Awnings. Higher elevation and cooler than town.

It was the best experience ever. The host were so friendly and very informative. The dancing and the food was fantastic.

Place is verdant full of jungle style over growth. The trails are a bit treacherous and uneven. Several parts of the trail a have a steep dropoff on the side, so be careful. Also would not recommend ascending up the hills on the hills here, if you are kind of out of shape as I am. Most people I have seen on the trail have been descending downward. Three days later, my thighs are still sore. A beautiful place, especially the bamboo forested portion, just be prepared for a workout of your legs and ankles.

Perhaps because I went too early, the observatory was closed, so I took a quick look from the hill. Because it was close to Waikiki, I went there without much thought, but it felt very quiet because it was around 6 o'clock.
