A beautiful, tranquil oasis in Honolulu. It was a sharp and very welcome contrast to the hustle, bustle & commercialism of Waikiki.

Peaceful little garden with a nice stream and a collection of coy fish. I was on a long walk to Manoa Falls trailhead and stopped here for a break. Very special spot with good vibes. Great place to burn off some anxiety or depression.

It's well maintained, and similar to parks in Japan. Just much smaller version. The 1 star is because there is no public parking for locals to enjoy. Only for UH.

Beautiful trees and plants! The Ficus Religiosa tree is located here (the grandbaby of the tree that Buddha sat under as he gained enlightenment).

Not very large, but very pretty. Perfect place to unwind for a bit. Located behind the building at the address.

A smaller, free alternative to the Byodo-In Temple koi pond. Beautifully horticultured land and serene enviornment.

I love going to the Japanese Garden between classes. It's far from.basically everything, so if you don't have a large break in your classes I wouldn't recommend going, but if you do this is the ideal place to just zone out. The running water, all the green, the koi and occasional duck make this a place of relaxation and reflection. Never been in the tea house, but I'm sure that's fun too.

Beautiful and off the beaten path. If you want some serenity while on vacation, come hang here. It is on the University of Hawaii campus, but fun to visit anyway.

I always love coming here for peace of mind, besides the Birds bathing in the stream, or the koi lazily swiming around, to the mongeese making brief apparences throughout the day. This place brings you nothing but tranquility!

It was very beautiful, not a large garden but it is nice to see if you are close by.

Small but beautiful and peaceful. Feels like your in a small town in Japan. Great place for a quick picnic or to kill a bit of time.

Beautiful place and people we met at the tea house welcomed us and answered all our questions. The pond is beautiful, fishes, etc., are well-taken care of.

Small but very pretty little garden area to explore. There was some sort of a tea a ceremony going on in the Japanese style building so we didn't get too close, but it looked really neat too.

Over 30 years ago while attending UH Manoa I would frequent this place and pray at the tea house. It was surreal to be back on town and to pray here again. Many good memories with God here. So grateful for this time and for the journey. "Oh The Places You'll Go."

Very serene experience at this place. It's open and free and inside the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Do visit if you are around and get some breathing exercises done. Feels peaceful ❤️

The scenery is very peaceful, located behind the Imin Conference Center. It's a great place to check out if you want to relax for a moment or two. Plus, you can always watch the beautiful Koi swimming in the pond.
