We
just
stayed
at
the
Queen
Kapi'olani
with
our
wedding
party,
families,
and
guests
a
couple
weeks
ago.
We
initially
had
some
issues
with
the
AC
in
our
room,
but
management
was
very
quick
to
fix
the
problem.
I
just
scrolled
some
of
the
other
reviews
and,
yes,
the
rooms
are
a
bit
smaller
than
average
motel
6's
on
the
mainland,
but
for
good
reason.
This
hotel
is
historic
and
had
a
multi-million
dollar
renovation
a
few
years
ago.
I
appreciate
that
the
hotel
remodel
kept
the
iconic
Waikiki
charm.
The
remodeled
hotel
rooms
have
a
vintage
"boutique"
feel,
and
I
believe
most
rooms
have
a
gorgeous
lanai.
If
you
need
more
space,
go
downstairs
to
any
of
the
wonderful
hotel
amenities:
the
pool,
the
bar/restaurant,
or
relaxing
open-air
lobby.
The
pool
and
bar/restaurant
are
both
located
in
the
same
space
with
incredible
views
of
Diamond
Head--and
they
offer
pool
beverage
service
from
your
phone!
In
the
lounge,
there
are
tons
of
comfy
couches,
tables,
and
chairs
along
with
a
coffee
shop,
sweet
shop,
art
gallery,
and
surf
shop.
The
artwork
and
murals
on
the
walls
are
beautiful.
Finally,
the
best
reason
to
stay
here
is
the
location.
It
is
right
on
the
edge
of
Waikiki
(tourist
central)
and
a
block
away
from
the
less
crowded
beaches.
There
are
plenty
of
excellent
places
to
eat
(both
touristy
and
not)
within
a
short
walk.
And
you
won't
find
another
hotel
in
Waikiki
with
views
of
Diamond
Head
as
amazing
as
the
Queen
K.
