This
hotel
is
fine.
It's
not
particularly
memorable
in
a
good
or
bad
way.
Nothing
bad
happened
here
but
there
were
lots
of
little
annoyances
that
take
the
magic
out
of
a
vacation.
Then
again,
not
everyone
can
afford
to
stay
at
the
Disney
Resort
or
Sheraton
so
for
budget
travelers
or
backpackers,
this
hotel
should
be
sufficient
for
your
needs.
While
not
beachfront,
there
are
some
nice
views
of
the
park
and
even
a
bit
of
ocean
from
some
of
the
rooms,
although
you
can
hear
the
traffic
noise
from
Ala
Moana
Blvd
if
you
are
in
the
front.
We
did
not
drive/park
so
we
did
not
need
to
deal
with
the
limited
parking
situation
that
has
affected
other
travelers.
Its
fairly
close
to
the
beach,
but
you
do
have
to
cross
a
major
avenue
to
get
there
so
its
not
quite
as
whimsical
as
if
you
are
staying
closer
to
the
water.
There
is
a
resort
fee
here
like
there
is
at
virtually
every
hotel
in
Waikiki,
which
is
a
minor
irritation
considering
there
is
not
daily
housekeeping.
I
knew
this
going
in
since
we
were
only
staying
here
for
three
days
before
moving
on
to
a
hotel
in
a
different
location
(I
don't
really
care
about
neatly
made
beds,
and
there
is
abundant
soap),
but
the
build
up
of
trash
in
our
room
sort
of
took
the
magic
out
of
returning
back
after
a
day
of
adventures
with
the
odor.
The
room
itself
was
fairly
basic,
but
reasonably
modern
and
comfortable.
There
were
not
separate
freight
elevators
so
all
of
the
custodial
and
maintenance
equipment
was
brought
into
the
regular
elevators
with
guests,
which
were
fairly
slow
and
often
crowded.
None
of
these
things
really
affected
our
vacation,
and
I
don't
regret
staying
here;
we
certainly
liked
saving
some
money
versus
more
expensive
hotels
nearby
but
you
get
what
you
pay
for
as
they
say.
