At
$500
a
night,
you
have
to
fight
to
get
your
room
cleaned
daily.
A
serious
fight.
They
say
it
is
because
they
care
about
sustainability.
But
they
use
plastic
glasses
everywhere,
strongly
blow
super
cold
air
on
all
floors
(when
not
necessary)
and
rooms
have
no
auto-switch
off
of
the
room
lights
when
you
leave
the
room.
So
much
for
sustainability!
And
for
premium
rooms,
they
converted
a
toilet
room
into
en
entire
shower
room
where
it
is
impossible
to
have
2
adults
standing.
But
you
have
Japanese
electric
toilets,
great!
Also
premium
ocean
front
rooms
nicely
smell
of
frying
oil
after
5pm
as
the
hotel
restaurants
do
not
use
filters
and
share
the
horrible
smell
with
all
premium
room
paying
customers.
How
nice!
So
one
other
advice:
only
ask
for
the
very
top
floor
premium
ocean
front
rooms,
above
12-13
floors!
There
is
not
one
single
staff
who
knows
the
guest
services
extension
number
(it
is
“0”).
And
the
head
of
reception
/
front
desk
does
not
hesitate
to
lie
her
way
out
or
make
vile
discriminatory
comments
to
justify
her
own
or
other
staff
mistakes
or
lies.
Lastly,
the
breakfast
quality
is
well
below
the
standards
of
a
4*
hotel.
Only
the
man
cooking
the
eggs
is
doing
his
best.
I
had
better
breakfast
in
2*
hotels.
Even
at
$500
a
night,
you
need
to
spend
$50
an
hour
to
have
access
to
the
pool
sofas.
Why
not
$250
an
hour?
Now
on
the
positives:
Overall,
rooms
and
hotel
are
clean.
Pool
bar
staff
are
really
nice.
Room
cleaning
ladies
are
really
good
(at
least
I
n
our
floor!).
The
ocean
front
facing
rooms
have
the
most
beautiful
views
you
can
find
on
Waikiki
beach.
The
Asian
restaurant
is
affordable
and
really
good.
And
the
hotel
remains
one
of
the
best
hotels
on
Waikiki
beach,
which
tells
about
the
others…
