This was my first time staying at a hostel and loved it so much I just booked a second stay. The rooms were cleaned and were kept clean throughout my stay. Staff is super friendly and answered all the questions I had. Parking spots are available for a reasonable daily fee compared to all the other places nearby. Location is great! Walking distance to the beach and anything else you might need. They offer daily tours for about $30 that includes transportation and are a great way to meet other people especially if you are traveling solo. Kitchen is available to cook your own meals. Great for those on a budget. Rooftop was a nice place to hang out. There is a staff member available 24/7 which is really convenient. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting and planning to stay near Waikiki. Counting down the days for my next stay!

The staff and management are great. Great location. Most of my week I stayed in a 6 mixed dorm. Met lots of interesting people from all over... Then stayed a couple days in a semi private room in the next building, which was much more comfy. Their tours are very affordable and have a lot of variety. Only did one with them, but very much value. The parking they offer is a good deal for the area, but there is also free parking by the zoo within a few minutes walking distance. The 20 bus can get you there right from the airport one way is $2.75 or a day pass that you can buy at an ABC is $5.50.

There are a lot of great things about this hostel. I stayed in a semi-private room and my first time ever staying in a hostel which is important to note. The tours are 10/10 stars and I highly recommend you try all of them, they are very affordable especially if you are a solo traveler and aren't splitting rental car costs. The staff and on site managers are great and easy going. The rooftop was fun every night I was there too. I was expecting this place to be close to the beach but it is seriously a 3 minute walk or less. The only minor downside is that from my experience cleaning could be a bit better. I gave it 5 stars instead of 4 because I wanted to stay at a place where I could meet other solo travelers easy and this hostel did an excellent job of that.

I've stayed in hostels all over the world and I have to say I loved it here! If you're looking for the hostel experience in Waikiki stay here. Perfect, amazing location right near the beach and the best parts of Waikiki. Beautiful rooftop and met lots of friendly people, great vibes. Everything is clean and well taken care of. I hope I can come back one day and already miss it very much. Also the staff is awesome, hi Mariana!

I stayed at this hostel for 20+ days and enjoyed every minute of it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hostel itself is really nice and the rooftop is the perfect spot to meet fellow travelers and make plans! They also provide a group chat in WhatsApp for those who are checked into the hostel, which is an awesome perk! It allows you to make plans with everyone and know what is going on for the day. There are also tours that are put on through the hostel that I believe are well worth the money. The tour guides are super chill and just want you to have a good time. The location is great, only a couple blocks from the beach and in walking distance of plenty of restaurants and bars. Overall I had a wonderful experience at this hostel and plan to come back!

Great location sitting just 2 blocks from Waikiki Beach. Quite a few food trucks are located just outside the hostel as well. It felt like a safe facility as a solo traveler and the amenities were fine. I appreciated that coffee was complimentary in the morning and a bathroom was in each dorm. The rooms were cleaned daily. I wish the rooftop had a little bit more life to it. I would have loved a hostel bar, projector, karaoke and a later quiet hour. The excursions provided by the hostel were awesome too!! Highly recommend going! The staff were all super friendly!

Great stay here; I cannot speak highly enough about the staff here. They were all very helpful with different local restaurants to try and locations for best sunset / sunrises. I stayed in a private suite which was perfect. Though from my observations the shared amenities looked very clean and tidy. Showers were not covered in soap scum not signs of mold. Atmosphere was great, the hostel has a group chat that makes it very easy to communicate with others staying in the hostel regarding splitting fares, car rentals or just finding others to explore the island with. The hostel also offers tours which are a great and CHEAP alternative than doing it all yourself. Takes care of all the logistics and its more than just quick sight seeing; they make it a point where you will also learn a bit of history and hawaiian culture. Would stay here again in the future.

Extremely helpful and accommodating!!!! I booked a room last minute, and they at least got me In for the night. Then were able to find me rooms the next day for my stay. Super friendly staff, and was easy making friends. They have a daily excursion all over island planned if your not sure what to do for the day. Also has a chat group for guests, where guest talk and make plans.

Great stay! Second time in a hostel, and this was no-frills exactly what I needed. Hosts were super organized. Although I rented a car and did my own thing, I saw that they held A LOT of great outings for affordable prices. Iโ€™d recommend this option to anyone looking to see all the spots and meet new people from all over. My roommates were perfect and awesome.

Great place for a good price! Rooms are cleaned daily. Has a refrigerator in the room as well as a common kitchen area. Tours were awesome and the hostel is a great location close to the beach and plenty of food options! This was my first hostel experience and it was very memorable. Met some great people here! I stayed for a week until I left for Maui and chose to stay at this hostel again when I got back! Highly recommend!

Stayed here for 6 nights in February 2023 and I absolutely loved it. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and provide everything you need for a great stay. They arrange different day tours, which are super fun and a great way to see different places of the island. They also have surfboards for rental as well as free snorkeling gear. The hostel invites you to a group chat with everyone living at the hostel, so itโ€™s very easy to make friends and plan activities and nights out together. The rooms are clean and they clean it daily. Also great location, the beach is just right around the corner and walking distance to bars, restaurants and stores. I would 100% stay here again, already longing to go back!

The staff was amazing!! I stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm and met 3 amazing ladies. I had so much fun and met so many new friends. It was a perfect location to the beach. There was food trucks right next to it. I loved it so much that Iโ€™m planning to go back with my fiancรฉ but getting a private room this time.

Stayed here for a couple nights & absolutely loved it! My flight landed at 6am and the staff were so accommodating helping store luggage, offering showers and access to all other parts of the hostel until I was able to check in at 2pm. Such a perfect location & great place to stay! Room had its own bathroom & fridge/kitchenette which blew me away, considering how cheap it was! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Waikiki!! Only bit of feedback Iโ€™d have, is to maybe have a few umbrellas on the rooftop to provide some shade. That sun is suuuper hot up there and thereโ€™s nowhere to really escape it ๐Ÿ˜…

I wasnโ€™t sure what to expect, as this place is a hostel. It turns out there are private rooms and dorms. I was in a private room, which was one of three rooms in an apartment-style building, with shared common area, fridge, bathroom and shower. The room was clean and the staff super friendly. There was no microwave in the common area, which would have been helpful, and the rooftop terrace area was closed for renovations. At the front desk, there are surfboards, snorkels and other beach gear that can be borrowed for cheap or free with a reasonable deposit. Excursions are also held through the hostel at much cheaper rates than youโ€™d get in most other places. On check-in, proof of Covid vaccine was required and a returnable $20 cash deposit for the room keys. They are open to allowing early check-in if the room is ready, but if it isnโ€™t, they will keep your luggage safe so you can walk to the beach or go out until the room is ready. Itโ€™s not the fanciest place in the world, but would definitely consider staying here again โ˜บ๏ธ

What a spectacular hostel! Iโ€™ve stayed at a few hostels but this one was very nice. Good size rooms, even the 6 room mixed dorms were a great size and had a fridge to put food or snacks in. The roof top patio is where itโ€™s at, can cook up there and chill. The evening vibes were wonderful and it was so easy to meet people and have a great time. This was my first time travelling as a solo female traveller and I can say that it felt extremely safe and was a clean and well run hostel.

I loved staying at this hostel. The location is amazing and super close to everything. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The vibes are immaculate and everyone who was here was extremely kind and considerate. Tons of free beach rentals. I definitely prefer Maui but because this hostel was so clean, kind, and inexpensive I will be back to Oahu for sure!

I have stayed in hostels a few times in the past, and this was the best experience I've had so far. You can't get much closer to the beach than this.... the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and are more than willing to share their knowledge and experience of the islands... the tours offered through this hostel are magnificent and take you all around the island... and it's a great opportunity to meet others as there are many solo travelers and everyone finds things to do together. Don't delay... book this hostel!

Absolutely loved it ! The hostel is super clean and the staff are so welcoming. Mariana was so helpful and attentive to my needs. First after showing me how the hostel operates she offered me some coffee and chocolates (best welcoming after a 9hour flight). Every time I had a concern or issue Mariana was quick enough to assist in every way possible, including when I needed a vacuum to get the sand out of a rental car. That made my day. The hostel is clean the rooms have a private bathroom/ fridge and the vibe is super friendly. The rooftop was the best communal area, shamed it closes by 10pm but I guess the neighbours around the building would not be happyโ€ฆ specially hearing my singing haha Thanks for the amazing stay ! Loved it ! Thank you to the owner and the manager Mariana. Youโ€™re the best !

They take your temperature for covid, check your vaccine card, give you chocolate on the way in and out, they have filtered water and coffee for free. They rent out surf boards free for 90 min and $5 an hour after that, free rentals of chairs and other beach gear. They are attentive to fix issues. They lock the main gate at night for safety. Itโ€™s only a couple blocks from the beach too. Great location. Air conditioners in each room. And they have daily tours that leave from the hostel. Highly recommended!

I LOVED this hostel! Good vibes. Super nice staff. Very convenient location. I am 38 and donโ€™t stay at hostels often anymore, but I adored my private room and the lovely terrace with its plentiful hammocks and benches. I had spent the previous few days at the ilikai near the marina, which was nice enough, but $100 more/night, and found myself wishing that I had just spent the whole time at this charming little place!

I had never done a week in a hostel before this and I canโ€™t wait to come back and do it again! The hostel provided the perfect hospitality and affordability that helped to make my first trip to Hawaii magical. The staff is amazing and the social connections made from all ages offered the chance to meet so many energetic, inspiring people from all around the world. You will leave a better person after staying at this place.

Such a lovely place to stay when youโ€™re traveling alone or looking to meet people! Definitely more of a party hostel, always something going on and people looking for something to do in the evening. But that means thereโ€™s always something to do! They have a beautiful rooftop thatโ€™s open to the guests and itโ€™s SO close to the beach. So happy I booked with them!

I couldn't have asked for a better hostel! Such a great social atmosphere and the tours were the most fun of my trip. Rooms were clean and comfortable each with their own bathrooms which was perfect. Staff were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in making new friends abroad, particularly for solo travellers like me :)

The best hostel I've ever stayed in - you feel instantly welcomed and comforted by the community aspect of this place, from the nightly rooftop hangouts to the group chat. As a solo female traveler I never felt lonely and that means a lot to me.

Great hostel. Close to the beach, good food in the area, first time in a mix 4 rather than a female room and it was great. Cleaners came every day for room and bathroom, and everyone respects your things and space. Really cool that they have beach gear to use for free. Group chat was nice to interact with people since I was solo traveling, give opportunity for me to meet new people from all over the world. Rooftop is nice to hangout, makes a good environment to be social. Staff are helpful and friendly with everything you need. Sol

This hostel is one of a kind. Such friendly staff 24/7. The tours they offer are such a great way to meet new people and explore the island. We stayed in a private room and it was very clean and comfortable. It is in a prime location close to the beach, bars, and restaurants. It was so affordable and just a really great place to come back to after a long day on the island.

Stayed here for 1 month and I LOVED IT. The hostel is located right next to Queens beach and Waikiki beach, both beaches are perfect to relax and see the most beautiful sunsets! Seeing the locals bodyboard/surf here was for me the most amazing thing about those beaches! From this location itโ€™s very easy to take the bus to everywhere on the island! The hostel itself was a 10/10, I stayed in a 4person/female only dorm with private bathroom and private fridge (this was a big plus for me!!). The room got cleaned every day, and the bed was okay too! The hostel had strict rules about bringing guests over and other things, and I think this made me feel safe and feel home in the hostel as a female travelling on her own. The employees are super friendly, and helped me out when I had a question or problem! Thank you so much for the most amazing month of my life in the hostel!

This was my first stay at a hostel and I loved the community. The staff was awesome and nice. There are tours that are not expensive and you can grab a surfboard. I meet some awesome people and I will be coming back. I would recommend renting a car in the Waikiki area just for a few days to check out things on your own.

The daily outings are exciting and affordable and only open to hostel guests. I am so glad I decided to stay here I highly recommend it to every adventurous Spirit who lands on this island!!!

Not the prettiest, newest, or tallest ho(s)tel, but it has many things going for it: -- location, location, location - only steps away from the beach โ€” food trucks (try the taco truck and the pizza truck, yum) โ€” Aloha community (via Whatโ€™sapp and the staff are kind and genuinely sincere and want you to enjoy your stay) โ€” management and staff are very professional and helpful and have the true spirit of hospitality โ€” free filtered water, not only does it taste the best, but it has electrolytes โ€” good free coffee โ€” two ABC stores are within walking distance โ€” lots of restaurants and cafes nearby Beware of the semi private accommodations. I was sharing a three bedroom โ€œapartmentโ€ with a group, a family. The refrigerator was shared and I had my food on the third shelf. The other two rooms had food on the second shelf and on the door and in the drawers. The top shelf is reserved for giveaway food. I came โ€œhomeโ€ one day to find someone moved my food. This was during the pandemic and the soap looked like it hadnโ€™t been used. Need I say more? Other than that I enjoyed my stay. If you can, try to book a private room. Prices are super affordable, so rooms go quick.

From the get go, the responses on the phone were honest, truthful and sincere. Once I arrived, staff made it work to where I was able to fit my whole vacation here. To only add to this, the staff is extremely friendly, fun and welcoming, the place and rooms get cleaned daily and they have a lot of amenities to offer. It is 100% worth staying here. Not to mention, the environment is stupendous, so many different cultures and friends to be made. Iโ€™d highly recommend anyone who wants to have more fun, to stay here and be ready for a long but fun time.

I am so happy to be in this hostel. Rooms are so clean and spacious. Location is wonderful, only one street behind Waikiki. Lots of free parking spots available, 5 minutes walking from the hostel. They organize everyday one tour/activity very affordable. The rooftop is amazing and the best is the people. They rent for free some surf boards, and other beach material too. In summary, amazing! If I come again to Honolulu for sure I will repeat

We stayed for a week. Very good. Helpful staff, kitchen was a little Mickey Mouse but We made do. rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Very nice rooftop on the main hostel for sitting and hanging out Loved how it was a hop and skip from the beach and offered surf board rentals; also they have some beach toys for free to rent and take out. This is super good! Would stay again.

Great hostel! I had a great time here and had no problems! The staff were all great and so helpful. Great location as youโ€™re so close to the beach, stores, and food! They offer day trips that you can sign up for a great price and you can rent items for the beach! I rented Mopeds and it was super fun to cruise around the island

I stayed here for a short three days but would have been more than happy to stay longer. The service was great with staff available 24/7 and the rooms were cleaned daily. I stayed in a 4 bed room which included its own bathroom and small kitchen which felt like a luxury in a hostel. The location was great as it was walking distance from the centre of town (about 15 minutes) and a super short walk to the beach (5 minutes). Would definitely recommend staying here :)

Stayed for two seperate nights (night only) here in October 2022. Would have been great to spend more time here (they apparently do cool day trips). I found the hostel to be underwhelming. They are trying to be boutique and cool but the output is not what they are trying to achieve. The check in process was more complicated than it needed to be and took ages. Towels cost $2 and the key deposit was $20. Rooms were small and dark and didn't have many power points. General layout of the building is unusual and the renovation does look very cheap. One night I didn't have any hot water. The staff were trying their best though, and one let me change a last minute booking for a room I had accidentally double booked. Location is awesome, right around the corner from the bus stop and beach, and with food trucks right down the street. There is free coffee in the morning which was cool.
