Good customer service. Would have been nice to have some sort of special treatment for my wedding (card, champagne, or free breakfast voucher...) but still had a good time. We were there for over a week with multiple rooms in our group. We unfortunately didn't qualify for a discount, but I get it. Water pressure was the only real issue. Nice hotel and staff was professional and courteous. Very convenient to have a restaurant and gift/convenient store on property. Surprised they didn't offer room service. Excellent location.

We booked our hotel through Southwest Airlines and did not realize it was through Booking.com. We were very surprised with the mandatory $50/day valet parking. The valet did not open the door for you and they said they were to busy and you had to bring the key to them. We werenโ€™t able to get another hotel because we booked through a third party. We stayed for 6 nights and again since it was booked through a third party we could not receive our Hilton Honors points. The concierge was really rude to my husband and the rooms were supposed to be cleaned every day and they were, but not very good. The plus side is location is great and the quickest way to the beach is to go through the mall. Parts of the beach are really crowded, but some parts arenโ€™t as crowded. The store next door was great and we bought good coffee there every morning. The hotel did credit us only $30, but at least it was something. Overall we loved Hawaii and had a great time. When we come back we will probably stay somewhere different. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. I also tried to fill out the survey, but it expired within a few days. It was Ok, but I think for the price we could have got somewhere better.

I stayed here for work and the original plan was to be one week, but I actually caught covid while working, so I isolated in my room for 5 days, and ended up staying at the hotel for 2 weeks. The room and bathroom were very clean and I found no traces of mold in the bathroom. Upon check-in, they ask how often you want your room cleaned and they stick to it. While my room had a balcony and I was on the 18th floor, I was on the backside and faced other buildings but still nice to have the patio door and balcony. I found the bed comfortable, but if you are working at the desk, having the large TV right above you didn't really work for me. The room had a small fridge, safe, and ironing board. The hotel is on a busy street, so parking is done via valet which charges $50 a day to park. At the same time, there is a resort fee of $30 a day, so you will have $80 a day in charges and that is not even your room. I ate at the hotel restaurant which was fine and also purchased a few things from the hotel store which was also good. All in all, I would come back here for work, but not for a vacation as I would probably want a better view.

Great location, close to the beach. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Housekeeping is great. Shower pressure is weak so takes forever to wash your hair. Check in and checkout was fast and easy. Pool is nice. Waiting time for elevators can be a while. Would happily stay here again.

We had a decent stay here. It's maybe not as fancy as some of the more upscale hotels, but it is pretty good. Staff is attentive and we got all we needed. Room was clean and generally in good shape apart from a few dings on the bathroom wall. Elevator wait is sometimes a bit long, but then again not too long (this was in August). I think overall this hotel is a good choice for the Waikiki area. I did read some of the lower rating reviews here but found none of those issues with our stay. The walls are pretty thin so I do understand some people with noise complaints. Since most people sleep at night we had no issues getting rest. Last unrelated thing: people need to be realistic and understand that when you book through a third party you will not collect Hilton honors points. It's really that simple.

Remember to use สœแดแด›แด‡สŸส™oสŸสŸส.แด„แดm when booking your hotel. This website will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you choose this place you won't regret it. Room was always clean. Valet was always friendly and willing to help out. Rooms were decent size. Not much outside noise gets in when the door is closed. View is spectacular no matter what side you are on. Housekeeping did a fantastic job.

Close enough to everything Waikiki, good location. The international marketplace is right across the street for good food and shopping. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. All staff we've encountered have been very friendly and actually seem like they're having a good time. We kept passing this one bellman (I think?) near the elevators who was always smiling or loudly singing along with the music playing from the speakers. We had little interaction with him, but he had such a fun, positive energy. The rooms and entire hotel are nice and clean The price is good for Waikiki, but be aware that the pool is tiny and filled with shouting kids, the fitness center smells AWFUL (like, truly bad. We opened the door, got our faces assaulted with the punch of maybe 30 years worth of stale sweat, and immediately closed the door without entering. God awful), the view from the balcony is into other rooms and balconies and alley, and there's no hot tub. I don't really care about pool or balcony views since there's so much off property to do, but a 9 pm hot tub soak would have been so nice. All in all, if you only have a few nights and don't care about being right on the beach, this is a great choice for accommodation.

As a Hilton general manager myself, I have an eye for excellent hospitality, and this hotel completely left me speechless. My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday for a week and never having been to Hawaii, we were a bit trepidation. Paul was so kind as we called in advance and asked so many questions, but he never was unwavering in his patient hospitality. Upon arrival we were completely enamored at the cleanliness and service of the property. Paul and Connie made our stay so outrageously comfortable, every request was honored, every convenience was at our fingertips. Housekeeping is impeccable, and the whole hotel was absolutely outstanding.

We have stayed here twice in the last year and it has definitely become our go-to spot in Waikiki. You can't beat the modern & updated room designs, downstairs convenience store supplying anything forgotten or needed, short distance from International Marketplace and <10 minute walk to the sand, pool with a happy hour, and on-site dining. Only things I may change is the steep price for valet parking ($50 per night - not out of the ordinary in Waikiki but still), as well as the size of the rooms - they are a bit smaller/tighter than what you can get a similar price point elsewhere. I would also definitely recommend calling the valet 15 minutes before you need your car to ensure a timely pickup. The staff was helpful and kind throughout our stay.

I loved our stay at this hotel. Everything was clean. The views were nice and staff was very helpful with whatever questions we had. They provided beach towels and sun screen free of charge as well. The bar prices were reasonable as well. The location was perfect for restaurants and getting to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and convenient to transport and food. Cleaners were excellent and the hotel is well kept with friendly staff. Loved the complimentary coffee in the morning and juice in afternoon. Only issue we had were noisy pets in room next door but that's is out of the hotel's control. The beds are double so the family of four will struggle. Will definitely choose to stay here again with an upgraded room and away from pets if possible.

This hotel was very nice and the location was great too. I only stayed one night because I had a free night stay. We checked into the first room and it smelled like marijuana. I called down to the front desk and they promptly brought up the keys to a new room. He second room was perfect. The TR Fire Grill was very expensive and had little selection to choose from. I wouldn't recommend it at all. If you have food and beverage credit that will help with your bill but there are better restaurants across the street.

Good Hilton hotel with decent and clean rooms, clean atmosphere, good elevators, and a good location. Stayed here 6 nights on a work trip and left satisfied but unimpressed. The hotel breakfast was prison style with a togo bag of two hard boiled eggs, a piece of fruit, a yogurt, dry plain bagel, and a serving of cream cheese, but you got a choice of coffee. It's good the attached store had food options and the local area had good options. Overall, I was satisfied with this Hilton property but wouldn't stay here again because of the other options in the area.

Good hotel located in the centre of Waikiki. Given the location, you can walk anywhere in Waikiki in a few short minutes. The resort fee is a little steep, but it comes with a lot of benefits - free reef-safe sunscreen, after sun lotion, beach towels, full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body location, 3 daily credits to rent out beach supplies at Beach Candy Rentals, and daily morning yoga. Didnโ€™t speak with reception much, but the cleaning staff are some of the most nicest people Iโ€™ve met in this trip. The rooms are decent, but I wouldnโ€™t pay for a city view again. I got a view of the buildings next to the hotel and I donโ€™t find it worth the extra price. A day room or courtesy room would have made the stay better. With a late flight, it would have been nice to shower and clean up before heading to the airport. Overall, itโ€™s a good hotel and I would stay here again.

Very convenient location. Valets were always very responsive and quick. Most anything is within walking distance. Shower and bathroom is pretty nice compared to most similar hotels. However, bed is worn and needs replacing. We were told by breakfast staffing that we had a $30 daily credit. Upon checkout, I was surprised with $35 "resort charge" and no credit for breakfast. Being there five days, this added $325 (plus taxes) to our bill. Paul was about as unhelpful as anyone could be. Basically a shrug and "sorry". I called Hilton and got $150 for breakfast refunded, but nothing for "resort charge". This is an unethical practice made to advertise a lower nightly rate and withholds the commission from travel sites and travel agents. I will automatically deduct a star from any hotel that partakes in this unscrupulous act.

The hotel was good in many ways, but if I return to Waikiki, I doubt I will return to this hotel. The room layout was very good, and we had a balcony which was nice, but the room was smaller than I have experienced or expected. For our 2 day stay it was okay. the bed (like most hiltons) was wonderful. The hotel is convenient to many restaurants, and shopping, but if you want to be at the beach you have 3 or 4 blocks to walk. I wanted to surf, but the location where you get the surfboard from the Resort credit was probably 5 or 6 blocks away, and the beach where I think the good surf breaks were, was a couple blocks from there. I maybe should have found the time to try it out, but decided to do other things. Also the literature at the hotel said that there would be tea in the room. The Tea Kettle was there, but not the tea. I actually received a message from the hotel, asking how things were going, and scored them an 8 out of 10, and they asked how they could make it better. I mentioned the Tea, and received no response or Tea. You have this fairly small area outside to get all these cars with people checked in and out. It was very congested and busy. Also this hotel only has 4 elevators. Those elevators are fast, but you almost always have to wait. A couple times I waited 1 - 2 minutes. Overall, the hotel was fine for 2 days and we enjoyed our stay, but I think I could have chosen a better option.

This place is really great. It was welcoming, had a ton of amenities, easy convenience and the staff was amazing. Heads up - there is very minimal cleaning in the rooms themselves but this makes perfect sense when it comes to covid and limiting their employees exposure. Im glad they are keeping their employees safe. If you need more towels, they will immediately send you anything if you just call or message the front desk. They were incredibly lovely. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Wonderful stay for my 8 night stay. I can say the front desk staff was just awesome. If I needed a mask they provided always keeping me safe. My room always clean. The pool area always well kept. The hotel was easy accessible for the bus system that we used right outside the front door...straight through the International market across the street and make a left. Beach is 1/4 mile on right..

Let's see, I stayed 9/1/2021 to 9/7/2021. The hotel and room were very clean. The bed was too firm for me. My favorite feature was the shower. It was nicely designed and the water pressure was great. The room had a microwave, mini fridge, and safe. The location was great, across from the International Market. The coffee and pastry shop, Kono's had amazing pastries and decent coffee. There is a line there every morning but if you wait a bit or go later there is no line. The hotel has a store, lounge seating in the lobby, and a restaurant. Go somewhere else for breakfast. There is also a pool bar. I went once and had great service. Everyone wore masks inside the hotel and on elevators. I will agree that the check-in/check-out staff were not very warm, more so during the check-out.

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. Rooms and nice and clean. Check-in is easy and everyone is very friendly. Pool is a little small and too cold for my tasted but to each their own. Parking is valet and little pricey, but you are at the center of everything. Walk two blocks and your at the beach or your at the shops. Great place to stay when visiting Honolulu.

Great location, close to all that we wanted to do, comfortable rooms but small in comparison to others in the brand. Considering we didn't so much in the rooms expect to sleep and stretch/yoga in the mornings it was fine. Please know that there is construction going on in the building across the street, quite noisy and looks to be long term as the internal part of the building appeared to be gutted, they were pouring cement for the pool during our stay and we had one very noisy morning...overall we would stay again because of the proximity to all. Staff was great and rooms were very clean.

Great service! Room was clean, housekeeping was great. Great location. Literally close to everything. Price you can't beat. Everyone was super nice. My only complaint was that you can't call down to valet in advance for your car. Thus we had a long wait and missed an activity (lost about $150 ). It was my second time staying here and that was not the experience the first time.

This hotel succeeded in the important areas. Rooms / lobby were clean and looked nice. Convenience store and restaurant located on the bottom floor. The main issue was parking... no on-site parking and there is virtually no place to park on the street. You're forced to use a valet that charges $50/day and was honestly just a huge inconvenience (this is located on Walina street if you can't find it). There is a parking garage attached to the hotel only the valet can use, and we typically had to wait 15-20min to get our car. I much rather would have preferred to pay and park myself. The other complaint is our room was extremely small, almost the size of a closet but we didn't spend a ton of time here. Staff was moderately friendly. No complimentary breakfast. Would try another place if visiting the area again.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki for three nights around Thanksgiving 2023. Plus points: - Itโ€™s near the beach areas, and the shopping and restaurants areas. - The staff are friendly, especially in the adjacent Holoholo store where we picked up coffee and pastries each day. - The rooms have most of the amenities that you would expect. Not so great: - The beds are too soft. - Itโ€™s a noisy hotel - lots of young people talking loudly late at night when gathered in common areas on the 5th floor or poolside; doors banging late at night. - Our roomโ€™s position looked over a construction site, so even though we had a balcony it wasnโ€™t somewhere we chose to sit One extra point to consider: - Considering the fact that this hotel is right next to the beach, I imagine a lot of people such as ourselves were using the beach each day, however the room had no clothes racks or towel racks that we could use to get our beach clothes and towels dry. Overall: - If the hotel โ€˜fitsโ€™ your budget then definitely go for it! Itโ€™s a little old but I can see they have tried their best to bring some aspects up-to-date. But. Donโ€™t let the โ€˜Hiltonโ€™ brand fool you, this is a 3 star hotel. If you go with that expectation then you wonโ€™t be disappointed!

We were upgraded to a corner suite on the top floor, which featured stunning views of the beach/water and a very large balcony. The bedroom was a good size and there was a nice-sized living room area as well. The bathroom was in-between the two areas and had plenty of space with a very nice shower. There was quite a variety of TV channels. We did try the restaurant downstairs for breakfast, which had good food that was served quite quickly. The only thing that can be tricky is if you're trying to pull a car up to the hotel to unload luggage. The entrance area only fits 2 cars, so you may need to find a spot on the side of the road before or just past the hotel if you're stopping for a few minutes.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The valet attendants were fast and always polite. I was especially pleased with Daisy, who always did a great job taking care of my room. I appreciate the convenience of having a restaurant, coffee shop, and store on the main floor. The pool was a bit small for my liking, but the pool bar staff exceeded my expectations. The only issues I had were: how hot it was in the elevator and the lack of respect the other guests have for personal space. I found myself taking the stairs quite a bit due to this.

Nice close to everything except the beach. It can take a longer walk than it should to and from a beach. Valet daily is highway robbery but they were super nice and on time with car. Rooms were nice and clean daily. Front desk staff was too busy to explain details of how to utilize things there. The resort fee is pointless as there was nothing special. The Tony Romas is located in the hotel had decent food.

This hotel is a great value for money with decent comfort and location. It's not quite a vacation beach hotel, but it's close to the beach and right where you need it, right in the center of Honolulu's beach side, close to shopping malls. In addition to the restaurant, you can also find groceries with ready-made meals at great prices. Although the pool area is not large, it has a bar, many sunbeds and the pool is clean.

Overall average stay. Front desk (not sure name but older men) did terrible job and welcoming us. Rooms are rundown a bit. Got some long hairs left around but not terribly. Drinks at pool are great. Breakfast is confusing and area is small for this sized hotel. Also be careful they tried to charge twice for Resort Fees. I needed to go back to the desk and they said this is automatic and we have to take some things off you bill. Be careful. Once Iโ€™m back to Hawaii unfortunately I will not stay at same hotel.

  • 4/5 Jonathan S. 2 years ago on Google
I was really surprised at the style, comfort, and amenities. Great location to just relax and get away. The only reason for the less star is the drinks from the poolside bar were way to weak for the price.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Hotel was very clean and modern, staff were so nice, and the location was perfect - quick walk to the beach and surrounded by stores, restaurants and everything you need. The room was on the smaller side but had good storage and an amazing shower! Valet parking was expensive, but it is everywhere in Waikiki - we found them to be super efficient and helpful and never had any issue getting our car quickly and we used it multiple times a day (get out of Waikiki and explore this beautiful island if you visit!). We loved the pool area for the kids at night, small enough to allow parents to relax and have a drink from the awesome pool bar. Would stay here again for sure!

Great location convenient to Waikiki Beach. Clean hotel. Room was comfortable; however, be prepared for no desk lamp or light in the main bedroom area. There was only a reading lamp at the bed, which emanates light for about 2 feet right around it. Why is there no desk lamp or other light in the room? I know it's Hawaii and people are on vacation, but people do sometimes need to work at their desks or see in the room. (Another customer at the front desk asked this same question too, so I'm not the only one.) Also, the woman at the concierge desk should know that the #20 bus takes about 80-90 minutes from the front of the hotel to reach Pearl Harbor, not the 35-40 minutes that she told us. We were almost late to our tour because of this.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is about 2-3 blocks away from the strip in Waikiki. They have a little convenience store in the hotel that I thought was pretty cool. My room was nice and clean, the only thing Iโ€™d recommend is the showers being scrubbed better. The hotel can be a little hard to find and there is only valet parking. Overall Iโ€™d stay here again. Staff was very nice.

We enjoyed this hotel, their room was great, breakfast was good, great mini muffins. The eggs, French toast, the Portuguese sausage was delicious. The pool was great, the hotel staff, car valet staff were all very nice, professional, helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back. Call them directly, they gave a better price than hotel bookings apps. They will meet or beat those sites, no extra fees! We were there 12 days. Fantastic!

Stayed in a standard room for 8 nights. Room price plus resort fee made this the most logical choice and we were pretty happy. Location is central to everything. Resort fee is lower than other hotels. Beach rental credit was unexpected but a great resource. Gold or diamond members get 15 per person per day capped at 30 for hotel bar use which we used almost everyday
