Found BED BUGS at this hotel, the hotel acted like it was no big deal. We had to ask for them to help us out to clean and wash our clothes. We had plans made, we werenโ€™t able to move to another hotel because of time and booked rooms. Management was very unprofessional, they had us beg for dinner vouchers. They acted like it was our fault, because we had booked from a third party (Expedia) they didnโ€™t want to give us any type of compensation until we basically had to beg for it. They lied to the third party saying we never said anything about the bed bugs (just so they wouldnโ€™t give us a refund) My whole entire vacation was ruined because my family kept feeling uncomfortable to sleep. Paid lots of money to have a bed covered in bed bugs, and to be called liars. Now we have to make sure we donโ€™t take any to our own home. If you stay here ask for a bed bug inspection before you settle in your room. On the other hand I really wish I could give a five stars to ONLY the staff below management, they worked so hard to make this experience great. They have Friday night complimentary drinks/snacks, great breakfast, great pool area! The valet, breakfast, pool, room service staff were AMAZING!

Location was so convenient! 1 minute walk to shops, restaurants, and shaved ice and 3 minute walk to the beach. Complementary breakfast was excellent and so much more than most hotels offer. Made to order omelette bar was a nice perk. Go before 8am and it won't be busy at all. Valet parking was an added expense but honestly so nice! Service was quick and it was great to just take the elevator down and have your car pulled up right there. Pool area is perfect for kids! Deepest part is only 4 feet with a tanning ledge and toddler area so all of my kids could swim safely. Pool area is really cool especially at night with all the lights and tiki torches plus tons of seating. It was nice to have the bars near the pool so I could enjoy a drink while watching my kids swim. Every employee we encountered was extremely kind and helpful. Would highly recommend especially for families.

Loved our stay here!!! Great view from our balcony (Room 1709) any time of the day! Captures some stunning shots on different days! Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast had variety and the hotel amenities were sufficient. We used the gym daily and it was adequate! It was our third trip to Hawaii and we were pleased with this accomodation. First time staying here. Would definitely stay here again. Itโ€™s not too far from anything! Itโ€™s very close proximity to everything. The pool area is quite nice too, itโ€™s shown in the images I took! It was on Level 4. We were on Level 17! Would recommend this hotel for a short stay for sure!

We had a great time here! The location is the BEST - right across the street from the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The rooms are updated, super clean, and comfortable. The living room did seem a bit cramped once the sofa bed was made due to the numerous tables and chairs. The lanai that could be accessed from both rooms of the suite was an pleasant surprise - we enjoyed having our tea in the mornings from there and seeing the views of the city! We also enjoyed the daily breakfast, especially the made to order omelet station. There was always a variety of meats, pastries, fresh fruit, and yogurt to choose from in addition to miso soup, rice, and salad. Although there were a ton of guests staying here, there was plenty of seating inside and out. The nightly reception from 5-7pm was a nice perk too - free drinks and snacks! Some of the cons: the 2 elevators were way too small and slow for a hotel of this size. The same can be said for the pool and the pool deck. There were definitely not enough pool chairs to support the number of guests staying here. The hot tub was closed for maintenance but they had made arrangements with a hotel across the street so that we could use theirs - considerate but inconvenient.

The hotel is awesome. The location is perfect! A block away from the beach, just downstairs there's nice shops to look at and good restaurants. You would be happy staying here and experiencing the pool and other things they offer. Breakfast is huge and plentiful, large selection that changes day to day from fried rice, taquitos, omelets, scrambled eggs, granola, yogurt, fruit, bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes and way way more! Food is great at night there's free drinks and chips which is nice, heated pool is perfect temp morning or night. Also a hot tub and kids pool is nice. Pool guy super helpful, same with bell desk, they have cabs and limos (same cost) waiting in the lobby.. couldn't have been better!

We first arrived and the staff was really helpful and attentive. Our rooms were clean and really spacious. The breakfast bar was amazing!! The pool was clean and had a pool attendant at all times. Walking distance to shopping food activities and the beach. Probably my best experience staying in a hotel at the beach. Again, the hospitality we felt from the staff deserves the 5 stars. :)

Location is convenient , 3 minutes walk to beach and two minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Very good free breakfast 6:30 to 9:30 daily and extended during weekends. Rooms are clean. Evening reception with nice snacks and free drinks. Sitting around the pool is great. Concierge was helpful and knowledgeable about nice places and beaches to visit.

Love this hotel! Such a great location. Walking distance to the strip and the beach. The parking is valet so you just pick it up and drop it off. Guests also get two free drinks every night from a certain time and we loved that! I would definitely stay here when we come back!

The breakfast is wonderful! Made to order omelets, bacon, sausage, potato wedges, fruit, oatmeal and unlimited drinks. The hotel is impressive with a beautiful pool area and large open breakfast room. The room and hotel were very clean and all precautions were taken to limit spread of covid-19. One block away from a sandy beach area with a walkway all along the beach. Would book here again!

(Edited) I need to write this again as I may have accidentally deleted my first review. We had an awesome stay at Embassy Suites. Rooms are so clean and well kept. We enjoyed the happy hour at the Lanai. The hotel has delicious drinks and friendly bartenders. They have a nice pool with jacuzzi and cozy outdoor lanais. Breakfast is buffet style and the service is really commendable. A special mention to Aldrin, if I remember his name correctly. He was very helpful, warm, and cheerful. Also, I called for extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap (they are really good products), and the housekeeping staffs were kind to send me some. I wished there were lotions and slippers too... Now I know, I could have asked the housekeeping for that. Thank you, Embassy Suites. We will come and staycation with you again.

Such an incredible experience at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk! Absolutely lovely experience! The evening entertainment was wonderful, the service was outstanding, and the breakfast was always hot, fresh and filling! The made to order omelet stations were cooked to perfection! This location is close to shopping, the beach and anything you may want to do in the Waikiki area! Thank you for your hospitality and service! We also had the ability to enjoy the street-side entertainment on the Beach Walk from our room's balcony! Such a wonderful experience of listening to beautiful music and watching the dancing every night! We would recommend this establishment to everyone! The elevators are a little on the slow side. Be aware of that. The room was great! Beds were okay.

We had an amazing time at the Embassy Suites. We stayed in a two bedroom suite in the Aloha Tower: 3 adults, a senior, and two younger children. We had a very late arrival (2am, I think) and the concierge was really wonderful. All of us were given welcome beach bags that had a variety of little welcome things like chocolate macadamia nuts, a packet of microwave popcorn, and a couple of other little things. The suite had a small living room with a pull out couch and a few chairs, as well as a bar fridge and microwave, and thermostat to control the AC. Both bedrooms had a balcony with a partial ocean view (though I would have to see that we could see the ocean without issue) and full ensuite. One room had two doubles and the other had a queen. The beds were comfortable and the room was good. When you walked to the end of the hall in the hotel there was a spectacular view of the beach and sunrise/sunset anyone could access. The included breakfast was amazing and was open 6:30-9:30. They had an omelette station, bacon, sausages, sometimes pancakes. Really good juices and all the fresh fruit you could want. They also had coffee, which I'm told was pretty good (I don't drink coffee). If you want to avoid crowds, go before 8 and you won't have any issue sitting where you like - inside or outside. There were friendly staff that came often to clear tables. There was an outdoor salt water pool, which was nice, with a separated shallow area (if you are a parent to a young child be aware there is no lifeguard and they don't have floats - one of the children with us cannot swim and we brought the swim vest on the trip with us). You could turn in your pool card for fresh pool towels and get your card back when you returned the towels. The towels were a good size and quality. The hot tub was being renovated at the time. There was also a bar there and a coy pond. This was also the area where you could turn in your drink tickets in the evening for a Mai Thai or Blue Hawaii or glass of wine or a beer. They also had free little snacks. Recommend getting both drinks at once to avoid the lineup again. Though the hotel was not right on the beach, we could still see the beach easily from the pool deck and our suite. The location was good, just a couple blocks walk to the beach (the beach is all publicly accessible) where you could rent umbrellas and other things. Just across from the hotel was one of the larger ABC stores (they are everywhere) which had things like alcohol, beach items, and fresh fruit you could purchase - more than most of the other locations. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby and a lot of high end shops. We very much enjoyed the nearby Royal Hawaiian Centre that had beautiful displays and historical information. They have a lot of free activities, like lei making, that are great for families. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The hotel was clean and in good condition. The only negative is they don't have traditional room service, but there are so many nearby places to eat that it wasn't a big deal. There was also no hotel shuttle to and from the airport. We have no real complaints and had a wonderful stay. Cannot say enough good things.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Sue at the front desk was very helpful and helped us get a room with a better view, which was very nice. This is a place that's good for families and there are a lot of kids here so we felt comfortable with our infant. Breakfast has some great options and the happy hour was a nice touch. The pool was often crowded but that's not the hotels fault. Definitely needed stronger coffee than what they served, but there are a variety of shops within walking distance. Location is great. 5 min walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 min walking distance.

The staff and location were excellent. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would come back on that alone. The rooms where very clean and the breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because the bed was not very comfortable and that caused some back pain. Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we loved that the beach, dining and shopping was a short walk away. Easy access to public transportation also made getting around very easy.

Perfect location if you don't mind being just off the ocean. Updated rooms, amazing staff, and nice pool and bar area! Nice to have made to order breakfast. Omelets are great and free drinks in the evening is a game changer. You are right in the main area of shopping and restaurants. So much good food a step away.

Great location 5 minutes from waikiki beach and near tons of touristy shopping and food. Housekeeping and bell staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms feel a bit dated but are spacious enough for a family of 4 and had great views. Super crowded and long lines for breakfast and happy hour, but they generally moved quickly. Decent value for what you get!

I planned a family reunion and we reserved 5 rooms! The ability to have the 2 rooms for the families with children was perfect! Having an amazing breakfast and also the complementary snacks and drinks were great. The location was also great, the only thing lacking was the dinner dining options, not enough nearby and had long wait times. Close to walking to shops, the beach near us was not super crowded when we went. Parking can be expensive, but once I purchased the in and out parking pass, it was much better, I just wish they had suggested it sooner. A very good value for the money if you have a need or desire for family room separations! Having the two rooms gave each family member their own space. Dollar for dollar, a good value.

The hotel is great! The location is close to the beach, amazing shopping and great restaurants. We loved the breakfast and the happy hour which were both included in the price. The wifi is good and the pool is small but clean and has a hot tubโ€”perfect for post happy hour dip and you can even see the fireworks from the hot tub. The staff are warm and friendly. The cleaning staff were fantastic!

Embassy suites are really standard for our travels and this one is a pretty good one. Checking in: The drive through valet is the first first interaction you'll have and they're very attentive and swift at positioning the cars. They're always swift and helpful. You'll get the standard embassy suites swag. The rooms: The rooms are worn but their fine. Warning: I've hung beach towels and swim suits from a lot of balconies but the wind blew stuff off this one. The bathrooms are large but outdated. Mechanically they're fine. The location: I really loved the location traveling with a family. You could do anything from fine dining to subway within a short walk. The ABC store across the street has just about everything under the sun and you're a couple blocks from the ocean. The beaches here are very busy though. Reservations are a must and we saw up to three hour waits for 2-4 people. The pool: It's small but it's okay. Cocktails and breakfast: are on the forth floor and are outside. They're nice and provide some decent views.

For a family, a solid 5 stars, otherwise, I'd rate it closer to 4. The rooms are suites and are spacious, clean and have a nice balcony. The pool is fantastic for kids, the breakfast buffet is decent and the happy hour is a nice addition (2 strong drinks per adult). The location isn't central, but everything is close and within walking distance. Beaches are around the corner. We had a wonderful vacation and wouldn't hesitate to book here again!

The breakfast is above and beyond well done. Right next to the beach Great location if you just want to walk to places around town. Loved how the room was set up for the 6 of us. Two balconies, a bedroom with two queens. Small living space with a sink, table and pullout sofa. Large bathroom. And it was set up like two adjoining rooms.

Great hotel! The room was extremely clean, it's located in a convenient spot and there are lots of amenities. My husband and I were very pleased to find that the hotel provided a happy hour every evening where we each were given 2 free drinks every night (the drinks were strong!) and that the breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious. 10/10 would stay here again!

This location is a wonderful option for families visiting Waikiki. We are a family of five with young adults and an adolescent. There was something for each child. The proximity to the beach is excellent with great views of both the island and ocean. The hotel's COVID protocols made us comfortable in maneuvering throughout the property. Customer service was exceptional and the team is very responsive to customer needs. I recommend this resort for anyone visiting the Waikiki area.

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom room. The hotel was clean. The staff was courteous. The food was good. The only issues we had with breakfast, is that they would run out of items like oatmeal or cereal if you came later. But overall we enjoyed the location being near the beach, and the fact that they have 2 pools and 2 eating areas so that everyone in the hotel is not in one area. The staff was also very responsive to any of our questions or request. We would definitely stay there again.

Vacation , room nice size , clean everything worked. They use card key system for entry. Elevator also which was not explained so u get stuck until u use card or someone else call for elevator. Nice large options for free breakfast ,items good new ones each day. Happy hour tickets for free open bar , munchies and soda offered in the eating room. Fire works after 9. Which dates not sure. Over all a little pricey but using all that's offered makes it doable.

I originally reserved a different hotel and when I arrived it was really bad. I canceled and book last minute at Embassy Suites and this improved my vacation significantly. The hotel is clean, breakfast has lots of items to choose from and the staff was great. Valet parking seems a little expensive but was worth it. The overall location is great. I had a great time and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great hotel experience. The complimentary breakfast every morning was so nice because each day had slightly different food. The location was perfect for us as it was close by to pretty much everything we wanted to doโ€ฆespecially Waikiki beach. The elevators were kind of frustrating at times because they only had 2 small elevators that filled up very quickly and youโ€™d have to wait multiple cycles for an elevator with less people on it, but we made it work eventually. Our room was perfect all around and very cozy and hotel staff were all super friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 12 nights in a double bedroom suite with 2 children. Overall, our experience was good; staff were very friendly and greeted us everywhere we went. Breakfast was basic but fresh, the omelet bar usually had a wait, the dining area was busy but always had clean tables available. The happy hour was generous: 2 alcoholic tickets per adult with unlimited snacks and pop (unfortunately, only between 5:30-7:30pm). Although the snack variety was "meh" to us, a lot of people seemed to enjoy them. The amenities in the room were decent. The most disappointing part however was the general and "deep" cleaning during the stay. On the first day of our stay, we noticed everything to be clean despite the rooms being very dated. Having stayed for close to 2 weeks, we had requested the house keeper to fully strip our bed sheets and replace them, twice. It was never done and we knew because we always checked for specific small stains left in our sheets... luckily we weren't filthy people, but having 2 young children did not make our beds feel "fresh" for more than a week. We also noticed our bathrooms didn't get vacuumed as hair would still be all over the floors and sprinkling of sand from beach days were noticed. We were also a little let down that we weren't able to get any complimentary laundry or something special during our 12 nights stay. Having spent that much money to stay, we felt less valued compared to other Hilton hotels where we stayed for much shorter. The pool was very basic: general pool, a shallow pool for toddlers, and a hot tub. The pool usually got busy in the evenings but there were always chairs available if needed. Overall, we would stay here again and make sure we request/hound management to ensure the above requests would be fulfilled. The location of the hotel was optimal (edge of the strip, quiet, but close enough to essentials (including a Waikiki Trolley stop and the beach). The two elevators were super slow and made it feel like we would be in line waiting for an hour during prime time. But with the buffet breakfast, happy hour drinks, amenities available, we would recommend this hotel for families and those looking for a great deal. We don't recommend this to anyone looking for a modern, luxury hotel stay or for an amazing view of the ocean. This hotel is like an upscale Best Western.

For a top of the line Hilton property, it came up short. The people were very nice. They tried, but I have stayed in four and five star hotels, and this one fell short. I believe this is a four star (at best). There were all kinds of problems with the card keys and their programming. Digital key never worked. I had to go between 21 floors 2-3 times to get keys working properly. This was a problem till the day we left. WiFi was not easy to connect to. Elevators smelled. Seemed like rugs were rarely cleaned or changed. Food downstairs at Roy's and Ruth's Chris were as expected. The morning breakfast at this hotel was actually very good. Omelets were awesome. Bacon and sausage were not cooked well enough for my liking. Everything else was really nice. It's definitely a prime location for downtown shopping and walks. Beach access is so easy. These do come at a price, so be prepared. It's Hawaii! There's not much selection at all on the TV. But do. not co.e to Hawaii to watch TV. There is so much more to see! The waves can be breathtaking! Again, the people were awesome. We just had higher expectations all around.

rooms are large and plenty of space. staff is friendly. rooms need to be updated but they are clean. breakfast was nice but always crowded. in a very good safe location. not an easy walk to beach but around a lot of shops to walk to. need more than two elevators to get to rooms. great it has a laundry room. nice happy hour.

I love Embassy Suites overall. This particular hotel is nice, just needs a bit of upgrading. Everything was clean and in working order, but upgrading the shower head and mechanism (the thing you pull up on the faucet) are just a few things to mention if I want to be picky. The location is superb, you are right in the middle of all the shopping and nightlife. Staff are really nice and accommodating. Having two elevators for 21+ floors was annoying, especially during the busy hours of breakfast. I would probably stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. The staff were so kind and hospitable. We arrived very early (around 10am) and were allowed to use the hotel facilities until check in. Our room was ready for us by lunchtime which we really appreciated after our long flight. The rooms are clean, large and have very comfortable beds. We stayed in a city view suite on the 9th floor which had an amazing city view and partial ocean view. The breakfast buffet is good, as is the complimentary happy hour each evening. The pool area is awesome - lots of day beds and a nice pool. The hotel is really close to everything in Waikiki. We would definitely return.

Nice and good location. Negatives are, it could be cleaner, light snacks at happy hour are just a choice of chips. If your looking for a nice pool area with shade forget it. No umbrellas unless you want to spend $$$$.Service was ok ,but most employees seemed uninterested in people. Maids were great, as was the happy hour main bartender. Overall it was a good experience, but maybe not the best considering the high cost.

Spent 5 days at The Embassy Suites hotel and it was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean. Really enjoyed having a separate room from the bedroom, nice for the early risers to have a place to hangout in the morning. Loved having a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker too. The free breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold items each morning. The refreshment hour at night was nice with two free alcoholic beverages each night. The pool and hot tub area were very kid friendly. Not too deep that my kids ever felt unsafe swimming out of arms reach. Also enjoyed that we could take the towels down to beach each day. The beach was a close 5 minute walk from the hotel. The water was so clear and enjoyable that we spent hours there each day. We popped by the ABC Store across from the hotel to get sand buckets and a ball to play with at the beach. Kids had a blast. There were also tons of restaurants within walking distance so we never had issues finding a place to eat for lunch and dinner. Same with shops, so many shops within walking distance. I have zero complaints about our experience at The Embassy Suites and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Waikiki

Found a great deal from Orlando to Honolulu around Memorial Day weekend and stayed at the Embassy Suites for 1wk. My family had the best trip we have ever been on on our first visit to the Island. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and location was great. There is tons of shopping within a very short walking distance, even right next to the hotel. For my family, it was great that a Denny's was right across the street to help with our trip budget. The negative I would mention is that the concierge staff weren't as helpful as we have here in Orlando. The front desk handed us a flyer upon check-in for a luau and said to ask the concierge for more information, the concierge was not aware what the flyer was for and asked us to check with the front desk. On a few other occasions we asked for information on what to see and do around the island and were not provided any help. Our information we sought came from unexpected places in conversations with the bar staff and those who made the omelets. Despite this minor thing, the hotel overall was very good and we would definitely stay here again. Quick tip, if the limo is waiting downstairs it ends up being the same cost as the cab service, which was a pretty cool way for the kids to end our trip heading back to the airport.

Our family usually stays at the Hilton Hawaiian, but we found our favorite new hotel! From the moment we got here we were welcomed with Aloha every single employee really made us feel valued. Everyone was so nice and looked like they actually liked their job, I used to work for this company in California and these team members were A+!

Loved the location on Waikiki Beach Walk! Service was prompt & very courteous. Loved Happy Hour poolside ...excellent drink selections and must mention daily breakfast. Staff worked very efficiently to accommodate guest and keep areas clean! My family & I had a great time! Thank You Embassy Suites!

Decent price for the excellent location, accommodation and free breakfast. The plaza on the street level has so much fun in the evening: shows, night markets, and food. A few minutes to the beach by walking. Many highly rated restaurants nearby. Pool is a little small but good for kids to have fun. Gym is clean and not busy

Very nice hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was nice and attentive. Free breakfast was great and the free drinks and pool were nice. The location was also great, near the beach, lots of stores/shops, restaurants, the mall and bus stops. The only downside was that there tends to be a lot of families with kids staying there so it did get quite loud and crowded at times.

Our stay at the Embassy Suites was great! The staff was awesome. The breakfast was great and the long lines moved quickly. The valet were quick and courteous. The housekeeping staff did a great job. The evening reception bartenders were great. The location is a quick walk to the beach and easy to get in and out of with a car. Grabbing beach towels was quick and convenient. The elevators ran a little slow, but mostly during busy times. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and would stay here again.
