I was just booking The Ritz Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach for my next vacation when I realized that I did not leave a review for the last time I stayed. It was such an amazing experience! Customer service was top tier from check-in, to room service to on-site dining to check out. Every time I came back to my room it was tidy and there was a new little gift and a thank you note left behind from the staff. They made sure that I had everything I needed. Beautiful clean rooms, amazing views, delicious food. They helped make my birthday vacation SO special! A huge 'Thank You' to the staff. I can't wait to visit again.

If I could give them more stars I would! We came to get Married in Hawaii and decided to stay here and they absolutely added to the Amazing experience from the time we pulled up to valet, checked in to the time we left. Absolutely loved our stay here. Everyone was beyond helpful and kind and just all around made us feel Happy and definitely showed the Aloha spirit. Rooms are beautiful, service was the best! We got an Ocean view room and the view was beautiful. The bed was clean and comfortable. The pillows and pillow top were amazing. Had such great sleep after long days of exploring. The toilet is a bidet and has the heated seat. The pool service was excellent as well.

Sadly, this property doesn’t live up to the Ritz Carlton experience you find at others. There are two towers: do everything you can to stay in the Diamond Head Tower. This is the newest tower. The old tower needs renovation. We moved rooms TWICE because of smoke mitigation odors (they said it was a construction smell due to the wood trim used in the rooms? Seems unlikely that the property would use a wood trim that smells identical to cigarette smoke…). The final room in the diamond head tower smelled fine, carpet was clean, etc. except the room was missing things such as silverware in the mini kitchen. The only service that met and exceeded our expectations was Maria and the valet team. They were fantastic and the best part of our experience. Sadly, this is not a five star property and is deceiving. Value for money is low. Recommend saving your money and staying elsewhere.

Stayed here for a week and it was worth every dollar. The valet staff, concierge & housekeeping go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The food at their restaurants is to die for & reasonably priced compared to local restaurants. The room was kept clean and well stocked, anything we needed Ritz had our back. The pools are clean and the staff makes sure you’re very comfortable and have all pool supplies needed. I would recommend anyone to stay here as it truly is a great place to stay.

The Ritz is very, very nice! The staff is genuinely nice and friendly! I really love everything about this property but my particular room - I paid for a deluxe ocean view room - has a view of the roof of the area below - the pool. The picture shows our deluxe ocean view room. Granted it’s still a gorgeous view but if I were at least 1 floor higher my view would be much more enjoyable. So maybe ask for a room above the 10th floor. Our view is the only reason I gave it a four star rating. The room itself is wonderful! Has a washer/dryer, little stove & oven, sitting area and a good sized lanai. Bathroom is nice and the bed is very plush :)

Suite rooms are spacious and it comes with an in room washer/dryer which we used multiple times during our stay. The location is excellent for Waikiki. Not too noisy and yet still close to restaurants and shops. Bus stop is right down the street which makes it easy to hop on for a short ride to Ala Moana. We spent a lot of time at the family pool. It had a slide which added to the fun. The staff were very warm and helpful. They made us feel at home.

The apartments are in a great location, walking distance from Waikiki beach and some nice views from the room (provided you have a room on a higher floor). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and would go over and beyond to make sure you were comfortable. The facilities in the room were also good ie a stove so I could make my own breakfast, fridge freezer so I could buy and store groceries, a washer drier to keep a nice clean wardrobe of clothes, a microwave would have also been good. The standard of the room was okay however there were some faults which in my opinion should not be present in a premium room. First the sliding door from the bedroom to the main living area kept jamming and wouldn’t slide properly. I called maintenance team and they came and fixed the malfunctioning door. There were also places on the wall were wall paper is peeling back, this should really be addressed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom is large with a good shower and small bath (however no bath salts) All in all it’s a good place, is it one of the best places I’ve stayed - no, but it was comfortable and the staff were amazing. You are paying premium prices for this place however your are in a good location.

When first booking I was a little hesitant because it wasn't directly on the beach and was one of the higher priced hotels in Waikiki. I was wrong about wanting to stay on the beach! The Ritz location is amazing, convenient and easy walk to beach, restaurants that I was happy I made the choice to stay there. Service was excellent, rooms were clean and the 24 hour pool was great. Rooms are very spacious and I had a balcony that overlooks the ocean. Ate breakfast at the restaurant behind the adult pool a couple times, tried the Sushi Sho take out and everything was tasty. The one thing about the rooms I didn't like was the bed, it was two double beds out together, and I would've preferred one long size bed instead for more comfort. The staff did everything to make my stay enjoyable. Aiko from concierge helped me daily from finding a shuttle to go golfing to helping me make reservations at restaurants. Richard the bellman was also great on showing me how to use everything in the room when he brought my luggage up and made sure I had plenty of waters during my stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Wow- what an outstanding experience staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Waikiki. The absolute standout was the staff. They were genuinely friendly, professional, and efficient. The service provided made us feel like royalty. They always made sure we had ice water and fresh towels and nothing was a problem for them. Further, our room was incredible. It overlooked the pool and ocean, and everything was extremely modern and of high quality. The bed and pillows were the best we’ve had and the housekeeping left everything pristine each day. We are already planning to come back here as soon as we can. Thank you for our incredible stay. It was exactly what we needed after a long few years of Covid and Melbourne lockdowns. 10/10!

We returned to Hawaii to celebrate our 5th anniversary, splitting our time between Waikiki and Maui. Despite Maui being twice the cost, the Ritz was by far the superior hotel. The customer service is second to none and everyone we encountered was exceptional (valet, front desk, restaurant, EVERYONE). We travel quite a bit and this was by far our best experience...ever! The rooms were comfortable and in line with what we viewed online. The restaurants provided great food and service. The adult pool was 24/7. Christopher was very helpful in particular, as we decided to extend our stay by a night and he was able to secure our room for one more day, which allowed us to avoid a move. How great was the stay you ask? So great that we've already booked another anniversary trip next year!

Highly recommend. Would definitely return and give 6 stars if I could. Absolutely loved our stay here. We were met with Leis on arrival. Our requests were met with extraordinary timing. Staff were pleasant and helpful consistently. They truly went above and beyond on all accounts, meeting & exceeding Ritz standards and our expectations. The decor and architecture are phenomenal with fine attention to detail. They even had a shuttle bus drop us off at the start line for the marathon which was amazing. The room was beautiful, clean, & spacious. The views of the beach were gorgeous. Totally perfect. Espresso, dishwasher, washer &dryer. There are two pools (adult & family)with gorgeous views and on point poolside service. There was a very short wait for chairs at the adult pool. Minor negatives: The pool is due for renovations; the pool and hot tub tiles are actively falling off with some sharp grout edges appreciable to touch. The pool water was quite chilly. *Would not recommend the pool side chips & salsa; beyond stale, but an easy fix, Im sure. Would recommend the kiwi frozen drink; delicious.

Great experience. Wonderful views. Concierge and room service was knowledgeable, responsive, and would have any amenity or room requests done within 10-20 minutes. Perfect for families as well- baby and toddler bed/crib, bathtub, and high chair we’re all available. Great location in the city. Has a wonderful (although expectedly overpriced) convenience store that has anything you would need as a traveler. I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff is and how willing they are to help. After a long flight, they gave us the perfect welcome.

We ended our honeymoon on Oahu at the Ritz Carlton. This place is fantastic. From the staff to the food to the rooms, everything was a great experience. The location is great, very close to restaurants and everything Waikiki has to offer. I have stayed at a Ritz Carlton before and this one lived up to the hype. We spent a majority of our time at the pool. They do have construction going on at the other pool but that doesn’t interfere with anything. The staff at the pool was attentive and spot on. We stayed in a king suite, this is the way to go. Very spacious room with everything you need to enjoy your stay. 10/10 recommend.

We had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. The service they provide is next level incredible! The concierge has so much knowledge and were amazing at helping us book cars and restaurants and giving us a tons of options on what to do. The hard part was choosing from the list. The facilities and room were perfect and well maintained. I also enjoyed that there was a kids and adults only pool. The view from our room was amazing. They are also extremely diligent in following Covid protocol (even though that sadly means no buffet breakfast!). An expensive hotel that’s worth every cent!

Top Notch service professionals!! On our last day Noah and Jay hand delivered a thank you card from the pool staff to myself and my wife. Such a class act. PS my wife ended up friend requesting one of the ladies because she just adored her and wanted to stay in touch through facebook.

The staff here has got it together! We stayed here on the last leg of our honeymoon and were blown away by every detail. Valet personally walked us to the front desk on arrival. The front desk team then showed us to our room where a handwritten note was left on the desk congratulating us. It was a very well coordinated greeting, and the personal touches were the cherry on top. The room was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Really great location close to shopping and many restaurants! The pool on property was kinda small and the other pool was under construction. Really enjoyed the room it was perfect for me and my BF and when my 2 girlfriends came to visit the pull out really came in handy!

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we were both honestly blown away! The facility was hands down amazing and had every amenity under the sun from cozy bath robes to gelato by the pool. The staff was truly exceptional and really made this trip such an amazing experience, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left they went above and beyond to make this trip memorable and hassle-free. Best hotel I have stayed at. The service is top notch from valet to housekeeping to concierge everybody was very very nice. They go above and beyond for you. Recommend this place 100/100. Would definitely come back to this hotel when visiting Hawaii again!

Located right on the Main Street in luxury row you have this amazing hotel. The service is obviously next level, with everyone you interact with remembering your name and addressing you by it when you see them the next day. The lobby has the most breathtaking view, being open air with a view of Waikiki and the ocean. If you can I would request the Diamond tower that is their newest tower. The room was phenomenal, every room has an ocean view balcony. Amazing! This is located within steps to the action, which makes needing a car irrelevant if you are just in Waikiki. There was one person that really stood out, Genevieve. She works at the store right past the lobby. My room wasn’t ready and I really wanted to hit the diamond head hike, she was nice enough to let me change in the dressing room. I started asking her about where to go for xyz, etc. She was so great, such great recommendations, everything she mentioned was phenomenal. I wish there were more people like that. She is the model of perfect customer service. Give her a promotion, raise, whatever it is, keep her! Amazing pool, and the gym was solid enough to get what I needed. Highly recommend this hotel, if you are in Waikiki, book it! You’ll be happy you did!

My family and I stayed here for two nights and it was one of the best hotel experiences we've had! We were welcomed with Hawaiian leis; our room had a beautiful, unobstructed ocean view; the toiletries were Diptyque! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and really made us feel welcomed. The location of the hotel is in the middle of lots of shopping and good food options. We loved our time here and can't wait to come back.

May 2023: Stayed here for four nights and just loved this place. Staff was very friendly. Location is on the best side of Waikiki. We stayed in a corner room with partial ocean view. Room was large and had a washer and dryer. There was a small round table that could seat four people and a large sofa to relax on. Beds were very comfortable. Loved that they had King size pillows on the King size bed 🛏️. Resort has a good gym, an adult infinity pool and a general Infinity pool. We got massages at the spa. Was a great 👍 service. We ate at Quiora for dinner and had a very nice meal. Overall, would definitely come back again to stay at this hotel/residence.

Stayed 6 nights and we enjoyed every single day at the Ritz Carlton Residences. We booked Bed and Breakfast package with Grand Ocean View room. We enjoyed amazing sunsets from our balcony and some rainbows in the morning. Location is pretty good - just a few minutes walk to Fort DeRussy Beach, Luxury Row, Ala Moana center and many great restaurants. Breakfasts at La Vie were nice too.

Staff here was excellent! Great customer service and very good location. Rooms and bathrooms were a bit dated but this was a great option for us during a short stay in Honolulu.

My first Ritz-Carlton stay and I'm a annual platinum Marriott member. Customer service is remarkable, you feel very special at this location. Impeccable rooms were very comfortable, spacious and the washer/dryer combination in each room can't be beat. Location is impressive and you are just a few minutes away from the beach. Get an ocean side room for an amazing view!! Highly recommend and I will definitely return next year for my summer break. I would give 6 stars for service if I could!!

This was an incredible stay in every way. Room was spacious, clean and full of fine details. Food and drinks were exquisite. Pool was perfect. Access to beach and night life were all within short walking distances. Views of the ocean and sunsets were breath taking. I’ll be back.

The suite was great. More room than we needed. My wife experienced the spa. Said it was amazing. The staff are all there to make you feel special. On my last day, we needed a late checkout. Truly a 5 star property. It may not be on the beach, but Waikiki beach is the last beach you should be visiting on this island. It was so easy to get in and out of this hotel to visit the rest of the islands which was very important. Staff were truly amazing and friendly, seamless check in, and rooms were spotless. As an Ambassador, this ranks as my top 10 hotels. Would bring my family here again!

The experience here was wonderful from start to finish. The downstairs desk greeted with leis, gave an overview of the property, and showed the way to the lobby for check in. The property is quite beautiful, and in better shape overall than the other properties I've seen while here. It's also in what I would consider to be one of the better spots in Waikiki, which is to say away from the masses but right at the end of the main thoroughfare with easy to access to shops, restaurants, and beaches. The rooms are clean and inviting. The view from the ocean side is surprisingly beautiful - because the hotel is next to a park, the view to the ocean is largely unobstructed by all the surrounding highrise buildings. On finding out I had an upcoming birthday, the hotel even left a handwritten note and small gift in the room. I was very impressed and would recommend this location for those looking to relax in comfort but with access to everything you might want to see or do in Waikiki.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was the best hotel we've ever stayed at. From the amazing service from all their friendly staff, to the clean and modern rooms, The Ritz at Waikiki Beach was above and beyond all expectations. The rooms were clean, modern and had extremely comfortable beds. There was a full kitchen and even washing machines in the suite! Really felt like a home away from home. Not to mention the views were absolutely breathtaking! Room service food was excellent. The service provided by all staff was absolutely unreal. From the valet on the ground floor, to the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff - everyone was so friendly and really went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. When we were leaving, we had a late evening flight and the staff were able to accommodate us to check out late so that we could still explore the city during the day and come back to our room to shower and change. Usually hotels are extremely stingy about their check-out times, I've never experienced such exceptional service. To top it all off, the location was excellent. You're within walking distance to everything in downtown Waikiki. Lots of good food and shopping close by. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Waikiki!

The best! We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The staff were all so kind, housekeeping were so sweet and thoughtful. We even had a washer/dryer in our room (awesome for not having to come home with a bunch of dirty laundry!) The food was amazing and it was just so lovely!! Definitely worth the price tag. We felt so comfortable and so well taken care of here. We absolutely plan on staying here again if we get the chance!!

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki for a full week. It was exactly what you would expect from The Ritz. The service was impeccable, our room was gorgeous and very clean with an incredible view of the ocean. The valet parking was a plus, the parking attendants were always very friendly and prompt. The adult pool was quiet and very pleasant, the pool attandents were so nice, helpful and fun to talk to. We got restaurant recommendations from a few of them. The hotel is in the perfect location just off of the main drag, it was much quieter than other parts of Waikiki. The island is incredibly busy right now. Most restaurants require reservations on Open Table. If you don't have reservations you could be waiting 2 hours to eat. Overall we had a lovely time on Oahu!

We selected the Ritz Carlton Residences Waikiki after deciding to cancel our reservation at a neighboring property. Given the ongoing COVID restrictions and lower staffing levels across the country, we wanted a hotel that we figured would ensure the highest level of service and also had an in-room kitchen if it ended up being necessary. Everything about the hotel and our room were absolutely perfect! The views, the location, and the amenities were all that we hoped for. What really made the trip was the staff and the spectacular service. Prior to our arrival, David Nakamura, Concierge, helped me book flowers for my wife's birthday and helped us book a golf outing. He provided great restaurant recommendations and ensured a welcome birthday card was in our room. I only wish I could have met David to thank him in person during our stay. During our stay, I wanted to surprise my wife with a birthday cake after a day out exploring the island. Moko Miura, Guest Relations Agent, organized and picked up multiple slices of cake from a local bakery, decorated our room, and organized a champagne delivery. Above and beyond doesn't even describe the experience well enough. Moko even created a Happy Birthday banner by hand for my Wife! This was our first trip to Hawaii and we cannot wait to come back. While we want to explore the other islands of Hawaii, we can't imagine not staying at the Ritz Carlton Waikiki during our next visit. Thank you for making our vacation and my wife's birthday so special.

Outstanding service and nice, spacious rooms. Location is ideal—quiet and away from the crowd but still close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. We stopped by at 12:30 PM to see if they can accommodate an early check-in, and the room was ready by 1 PM. Nice! There was a delay getting our luggage, and we waited 1 hour after getting the room; the hotel rep was very apologetic and offered to comp the next morning’s breakfast. Very nice! The room was in the Diamond Head tower—Deluxe Ocean View, Suite (corner), and it didn’t feel dated like some of the reviews have mentioned. Compared to other hotels in Waikiki, the price is very reasonable. It was nice to have the washer and dryer which we used daily; detergent is provided, but we decided to buy our own. The kitchen had all necessary items (e.g., plates, utensils, cups, wine glasses). We called in the night before check-out for a later check-out time, and they were able to accommodate a 4 PM check-out. The welcoming, responsive staff was the highlight of our stay. There was always someone to help when we called the front desk. We look forward to our next stay here!

Customer service is absolutely 5 ⭐!! You are treated great the minute you drive in. Great friendly staff that do not look at you condescending as other ritzy hotels tend to do. For room service they set up your table and take down for you. The views from the room was absolutely breathtaking! Great details thoughout the room. Great line of toiletry products. Beds are amazing...the sheets hug you. The rooms are beautifully designed and decorated, very spacious, it is luxury living at it's finest. Their Spa is a great indulgence you would want to plan for because you get to use all the amenities in there, you can pretty much make it an all day event...but you need to book ahead due to Covid. The pool side service is superb, they set up your lounge chair for you, provide you with complimentary water and servers are constantly near by to assist you with any food or drink requests. You can also rent some nice looking cabanas by the pool with your own TV so you can watch the game...but the cabanas are very hot, there's no cross breeze. You can take amazing pictures from inside the pool with beautiful sunsets. There's free ice cream served at 2PM by the kiddie pool. Great ice cream from local stores...we had from Il Gelato the coconut or haupia... delicious!!! Now for the not so great things...in my opinion. The location is kinda not the best ...it's not beach front, but you do get nice ocean views along with views of Waikiki. The entrance at the lobby doesn't feel like a Ritz Carlton, it's a small little room with check in desk. The elevators are a bit confusing if you're staying at the residences because you need to transfer elevators between towers...no biggie once you get the hang of it. The pool is in need of help...there are quite a few tiles missing in the adult pool and the spa, so be careful they are glass tiles so an injury is just waiting to occur. To sum it up, the service is what you would expect from a Ritz Carlton, just phenomenal! They even offer complimentary umbrellas if it's raining. Unfortunately, the hotel entrance, pool and location though...were not very impressive. However it was a beautiful memorable experience!!!
