Great location, very friendly people work here. Cons: rooms are dated but kept very clean, pool was somewhat green during our stay. Pros: quiet and laid back, beautifully maintained grounds and great staff. I would 100% recommend this place. So much nicer than a high rise hotel.

My wife and I could not have had a better experience at The Breakers. The location was perfect - only a half a block to Waikiki Beach. The room we stayed in was delightfully vintage and absolutely spotless and the housekeepers were very attentive throughout our whole stay. The front desk staff made us feel welcome throughout our whole stay. We really feel we couldn't have picked a better place to spend a week in Honolulu. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beakers hotel, is very old, and you can see it in construction, design and efficiency. With that being said, I still give it five stars. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and came with a miniature kitchen/ dishes(microwave, electric stove top). The balcony has no view but it's a nice Hideaway to be outside and read a book or chill. The pool is clean and beautiful located in the courtyard. Right out side the door is a ABC convenience store and a shaved ice shop. The beach is about two blocks away. free parking is extremely limited. And the shopping is walking distance. The zoo is about a good walk away.

Secret gem hidden in Waikiki one block from the beach. I have stayed here many times and the service is always consistent. It's a historic boutique style hotel with an excellent Japanese restaurant on site. Short walk to several amenities, with bus stop nearby. Very safe and relaxing, and the staff is wonderful. Excellent value.

Clean, quaint, and quiet. The charm is in the older decor. Nice to come back to and relax in. The pool and laundry closes early, and the parking is free but limited to 6 spots on a first come, first served basis. Everyone was very friendly, and it seems like most of the guests are regulars who keep coming back, or stay for a very long time. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was super pleased.

Such a cute little hotel in a fabulous location. You really do meet other friendly people who treat this as a home away from home. And lovely staff and service. Very quick to walk to beach for morning swim and great farmers market 2 minutes away a few nights a week, with fabulous fresh bread, fruit, curries, poke, you name it! The Cambodian stalls beef rendang is the best.

Old style Waikiki at it's best! Forget the cookie cutter hotel rooms on the 33rd floor. Forget the lavish lobby. View of the beach, nah, just walk there. The rooms still look like 1950 but people love it and come back again and again.

This is a very quiet old-fashioned sort of place in less busy area of Waikiki. The rooms are definitely dated in their furnishings but adequate. My family definitely appreciated it and would return.

Had a great time, I'll be back. First time for us and excellent alternative to the souless pricey concrete towers. Nakamura Ramen around the corner was also a real find. Thank you Florence , Charlene and all the staff. Keep 109 open for us next December.

I like the old school Japanese decor. The rooms are laid back, very clean, and come with a kitchenette. The price was not cheap, but we prefer this hotel to all the high rise hotels. A couple of blocks to the beach. Yes the decor is outdated but feels more down-to-earth than all the high rise hotels

My favorite place in Waikiki. I've been coming here for more than 25 years. Excellent for the older generation, but also great for kids.

Stayed here in June 2019 and it was great. Yes the rooms are a little outdated but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Where our bedroom was, it was noisy from whatever was going on behind the hotel but we got through it. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!

Love this place, my really good friend from Las Vegas. I have always stayed here for years now, and I know why. On my new trip I will be staying here again.

This is my favorite Waikiki hotel. I'm from the outer islands so I've stayed at A LOT of the hotels in Honolulu over the years. But now I only book at the Breakers. I love the vintage feel and the amenities. Even the smaller rooms have fridges, stove tops, dishes, and utensils. And you can't beat the location! Also I love the resident hotel cats that hang out in the common areas during daylight hours.

When we go back to Waikiki we will definitely stay at the Breakers again. The staff was very nice, helpful and hospitable, even the cats. A refreshing old Hawaiian feel and oasis in Waikiki and 3 min walk to the Beach. The Rooms and ambience are very comfortable. The pool is very clean and comfortable to relax around. Hot coffee in the lobby.

A special place in Paradise. Old Hawaiian hospitality. Simple and comfortable rooms surrounding a quiet courtyard and pool.
