Absolutely DO NOT stay here as of July 2021. I'm a local staying here and it's terrible! I moved to 3 different rooms. The AC throughout the hotel is broken. No AC in all 3 rooms!! Lobby assistant said it's a hotel wide problem. If you have kids or want to be comfortable, DO NOT STAY HERE! I can handle the heat but you'll regret it!! Valet service lost my keys! Had to call a car service to make me new keys! Took 4 hours out of my day! My room got up to 77f during the day at the hottest (blinds closed from sun) and a consistent 75f daily! I was sweating in place! With the door open still 71f even later in the day. Doesn't sound bad, but with zero airflow I'm just drenched in sweat. Elevator is broken too! Fix that already! They don't care. I'd highly recommend you stay elsewhere. I'm just warning everyone!!

To start, the hotel is undergoing renovations. We did not know that when we booked. There should be some discount for the inconvenience of the renovations. Our room may already be renovated. It's small but clean. BUT - there is no: headboard, no wall art, no clock, no mirror (other than the small bathroom one) and no microwave. The TV is very small. Again, everything is pretty small (table, bathroom space) but it is clean. The valets have been great. Occasionally, they need more than one working and it's slow, but overall they are very friendly and do a great job. The pool is nice - we went only to use the jacuzzi which wasn't working properly. Another disappointment. The amenities included in the resort fee are things like towels, sunscreen, boogie boards, and portable chargers. I suppose this is a good value for Waikiki. The location is good and close to lots of things. There is quite a bit of street noise, but that can't be helped.

We had a great experience here. We stayed 5 nights and the interaction with all staff was great. Valet team was great and our car was always waiting on us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool/ hot tub area was clean and enjoyable. Just a two block walk to restaurants, shops & the beach! Will definitely stay again :)

The place was great, it was an incredible price considering it was a 5 minutes or less walk from Waikiki Beach. There is a convenient store only a few minute walk away. They were in the middle of some remodels on the place at the time but they were quite and respectful so it was no issue. Plus it means next time it will be looking even better. The staff was friendly and attentive, though house keeping only comes through every third day. They were friendly and if you catch them in the hall of you needed something in one of the off days they happily provided it.

They were doing renovation in the building, so it looked a little out of wack. The rooms don't have mi rowave or coffee maker if those emenities are important to you. The corner room has a great view looking over the golf course and the mountain. Overall, it's a fine resort for the price.

Great place and great location. The remodeling did not bother me and they notified in advance. Think this place doesn't deserve all the bad reviews. It was close to everything, super friendly staff and the rooms were decent. Got a good price so I was super happy about it.

***THIS HOTEL IS ACTIVELY UNDER CONSTRUCTION THROUGH WINTER 2022*** The hotel staff is very attentive, friendly and great! The only reason my rating is 3/5 is because it was under ACTIVE construction the entirety of the stay. The construction didn't necessarily hinder our stay or interrupt our activities, but it was a little bit of an inconvenience to navigate through it in their main lobby, the corridor to the pool and the area in front of the elevators. Valet parking staff 5/5, fast and friendly! Hotel staff 5/5, got us extra pillows, bath towels and cleaned our room when asked. The room was a 3.5/5. Spacious, clean, and had a lot of natural lighting. Beds were standard, but pillows were fairly deflated. Bathroom lighting was atrocious, and could barely even be considered lighting. The only available mirror in our hotel room was the one bathroom sink mirror, so it would've been nice to have a full-length mirror either in our room or at least in the hotel lobby. The location was a 5/5. Close to Waikiki, and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and Ala Moana Mall. But not too close that you can hear everyone partying at night. Overall, our stay was pleasant, it was just annoying that there was construction that wasn't advertised on the website. That's probably the reason that the room rates were priced significantly lower than neighboring accommodations. If you need a place to stay and strictly will only be in the hotel at nighttime when construction is not happening, then you should be fine staying here. But if you plan to stay and relax in the hotel room or at the pool during trhe daytime, consider accommodations elsewhere.

We had a fantastic stay here for our first time in Hawaii this past October. Just a quick six minute walk from Waikiki beach is SO convenient. Fun shops and restaurants close by. Super attentive and friendly staff. The front desk lady suggested the most beautiful beach to visit which we absolutely loved and greatly appreciated. The room was neat, tidy, and clean. We were able to grab as many beach towels as we needed daily. And we enjoyed the pool/hot-tubs. Everyone was kind. The hotel was under renovations during their slow season when we stayed, which they did let us know about weeks in advance via email. In all honestly the construction didn’t effect our stay in any way and I don’t have any complaints whatsoever. It’s a lovely hotel for a good price. Thanks for a wonderful time!

There's a good bit of remodeling and repairs going on, which wasn't mentioned prior to our arrival No breakfast/food on site. We stayed 5 nights and 3 of them we had no air and it was 80⁰ in our room. Staff did do all they could to keep us comfortable. Brought us a fan, and even changed our room. We requested early check in bc standard check-in was 5 hours after our arrival. We had to wait about 4 hours for a room after 24 hrs of flights. But those were minor inconveniences. The staff is absolutely delightful. Prompt service once we got in the room. Walking distance to everything.close to the beach. Cute rooms. Beautiful pool/spa area. The staff makes it feel like home. Can't brag on them enough.

Overall a good stay. Staff is very friendly and front desk was very helpful with questions and concern. Rooms were fairly clean and they have cleaning service every 3 days which was nice. A/C does work but a bit slow (by day 2 our room was cooled). Location is great with a nearby ABC Store and within 6-7 minute walk to the beach.

Less than impressed. The entire hotel is going under major renovations and it was not advertised as such on their website. There was only one small mirror in the entire room. A/C does not go lower than 74 degrees F during the day and 72 degrees F at night. There are a lot of added fees at check in. There is also only valet parking ($40 a night). The buildings around it are run down as well. The rooms were also only cleaned every 4 days, unless you asked for service. Then you had to give a 24 hour notice. I'm not sure how this hotel was rated so well when it definitely was not. The valet drivers were nice.

Loved the place! Rooms are clean and the staff are super friendly. They even provide extra amenities that you’d want to carry while heading to the beach. The cityside views was mesmerizing during both day and night.

Among the VERY best places Ive stayed yet! This is especially true with the quality of the Room, the EXCELLENT location and very cool staff. PLUS, the rates were the best in town- not much more than the Hostel yet as clean, new-looking and higher-end Hotel quality that Im used to paying minimum of $150-$250. The views of Waikiki, the mountains and valleys were photo worthy.

We had an awesome time in Oahu because of this stay and the staff at the Sand Villa Hotel. They were always ready to give us a helping hand or provide some amazing advice on great local eats and beaches. Every single recommendation lead to another unique and amazing experience. Special thanks to Ikaika, Tiana, Alvin (and Chayanne, might have got the spelling wrong on some of the names, sorry). But all the staff were excellent! The location is really close to the heart of Waikiki Downtown and 10 minutes from the beach so that was a plus! There was some renovations but they did inform us of that before we got there but it didn't bother us too much, and it was usually during the day and we weren't there. I think they will be done construction soon but our room was renovated and looked amazing! When they are done it will be amazing as the Wayfinder! They also were very accommodating and we will definitely be looking here when we come back! Also, they had free gopros, beach equipment to borrow and those were lifesavers for snorkeling and swimming! Thanks to the staff for making this a trip to remember!

Recently renovated rooms are actually surprisingly tasteful and trendy. Wouldn’t say it’s anywhere near luxury status but pretty cool and modern (in the rooms). Hallways still a little rough. All in all, MUCH better than others in Honolulu at this price. Good move whoever chose to renovate. Also shoutout to Shane at reception. Really helpful guy who made us feel welcomed. Keep doin you Shane, appreciate you 🀝

Enjoyed a fantastic stay. Excellent in-room amenities. Best part is the convenient location – the hotel is situated just out of earshot from the hustle of Waikiki, but close enough so if we wanted to head to Kalakaua Avenue for the full-on Waikiki experience, it was a short walk from the lobby. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is under renovation and we were not notified about this prior to our arrival. The pool area was also temporary closed and the rooms did not look anything like the pictures. The view from the upper floors is good though but the bathrooms are really small. I mentioned all of this to the reception and to be fair I did get a 80$ discount. I'm still not happy with the way this went, taking into account the price for the room which does not include any breakfast.

Cute 3* hotel with reasonable price. Room is small but clean. Toilet included a bidet. Mini fridge, coffee maker, etc. We appreciated the hospitality room to change before our late flight. They do close the pool at 9 which I thought was a bit early.

The rooms are a bit dated in their design but they were rennovating the place while we were there so it may improve. Location-wise, it's a 15 minute stroll to Waikiki Beach so you're close enough to shopping and major tourist spots. There's also a convenience store very close by from the hotel entrance. The service here is great. They lend beach towels for free and you can use the pool and hot tub at their sister hotel, White Sands. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful too. There is valet parking but it'll set you back 40 dollars per night. Overall, I had a great stay despite the construction going on.

The only thing good about this hotel was the staff. They were friendly and beyond helpful! Everything else about our stay was disappointing. We had stayed at this hotel before and liked it so much I didn't look anywhere else. One of the reasons we booked it again was the location and the hospitality room (we had a late flight out of Honolulu). We arrived to find the hotel under construction and the hospitality room gone, neither of which were mentioned on the website. The first room we checked into had a dirty floor, hair in both beds, and only 2 towels (we booked for 3 people). We were moved to a second room that was much cleaner. The air conditioner was noisy, but worked. On the second day it stopped working. Maintenance came up to fix it. It still wasn't working on the 3rd day. We ended up leaving after our third night and will not stay here again.

Great price and wonderful location. It's close to everything, very walkable to the main strip and Waikiki Beach. My friends and I weren't bothered by the renovation since we are always out and about during the day. The staff was super friendly and helpful. In and out privilege valet parking worked out well. We also borrowed the free beach towels, chairs and umbrellas they provided everyday. I'm very happy about staying at this hotel.

Make sure to use Κœα΄α΄›α΄‡ΚŸΚ™oʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This web site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you will love it I'm sure!

Let me start by saying the staff is great. I have been coming here for a number of years excluding 2021. I thought it was well priced for what it offered and its location. I appreciate the valet parking. When i arrived this time i reminded the front office I amm a returnee and looked forward to the loyalty discount in parking. I was informed that there was a new owner and they no longer offered a discount. Disappointed i was also informed that they no longer offered free breakfasts. To further sadden me they also do not service the rooms daily. In fact during my 6 day stay they only serviced the room once. I will say that when we asked for fresh towels they were more than happy to comply. There are noise issues since we are next to the Ala Wai Blvd which seems to be the main route for emergency vehicles and although our room was recently renovated the sliding glass door rattles when there is wind. And to top it all off the price has been raised.

Don't forget to use Κœα΄α΄›α΄‡ΚŸΚ™α΄œΚŸΚŸΚ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a hotel. They compare countless booking web sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't regret it. Wonderful corner room, very nice valet service, front desk was quick with my check in. Pool was cute.
