Cleanliness: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Comfort: 4/5 Noise: 4/5 Overall: Location, Location, Location. It's a good location for Waikiki and I'd definitely stay here again. For Parking you have an option for valet which was pretty expensive and limited or a validated parking space a couple blocks away at the Hyatt. The extended review... Cleanliness: 4/5 - The linens and towels were clean which is all I can ask for. Service: 5/5 - Friendly staff and they actually gave us an upgrade to the top floor with a kitchen! Comfort: 4/5 - A very comfortable room where I was able to get some good rest. The room was very spacious and I would have used the balcony if I had more time there. Noise: 4/5 - It's Waikiki so you will hear noise but it wasn't bothersome by any means.

If you're looking for a location close to the beach (but not on the beach) that is reasonably priced, this is a great choice! Beach chairs and towels are provided. The continental breakfast wasn't a whole lot (cereal, fruit, muffins, toast/bagels, juice and coffee) but the vanilla macadamia nut coffee was delicious! My only real complaint was the pillows...they were very uncomfortable. We ended up going to Ross and buying a pack of pillows. (Also, if you need a hideaway bed, skip it. You can feel every spring in the mattress). The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful!

This is hands down the filthiest hotel I've stayed at, and you can see in my reviews how often I travel. The rooms are priced to trick you into getting this rundown hotel at the price of better hotels - there is a resort fee, though it's clearly not a resort or has resort style amenities, and you can only park valet, which is 33% of the cost on top of what you pay for the room. You end up paying about $200 per night for this filthy motel. Also, it is extremely loud until about 3AM.

The hotel was in a great location...walking distance from shops, restaurants, & the beach. The front desk staff was very accommodating to us as we were a family group of 14. They gave us a free cot for 2 different rooms. The rooms were large enough for each group. The breakfast didn't have a lot in the way of variety but it was enough for us. The lobby area was great for our group for the evenings when we liked to play cards. The rooms were cleaned nicely each day after our activities. One night there as a lot of noise from the street until like 3am but certainly not the fault of the hotel. The guy getting chair's/luggage was kind of grouchy but I attributed that to the fact that he was always working--day & night with no day off that I noticed throughout our 8 day stay. We thanked him for all he did putting up with us & tipped him our last day. He did apologize although no apology was necessary. If you're on a budget & want a nice enough place to stay with free breakfast & close proximity to places I recommend it.

NOT AS DESCRIBED I am not one to write a review but this place was so bad that I felt compelled to warn other travelers. There are many places to stay in Honolulu, don't choose this one. Not as advertised. The pictures must be from 20 years ago. We arrived in Honolulu at 11:30 pm, was told their parking lot was full and there was no street parking. The hotel clerk gave us directions to a public lot which he said was a 5 minute walk away and they would validate the parking. I asked him if it was safe to walk that distance at night and he said just be aware of your surroundings. The parking garage was a 10 minute walk at best but because we found ourselves in the company of multiple people that appeared to be very intoxicated and several looked to be living on the streets, the 10 minute midnight walk felt like an eternity. When we finally arrived to our room, it was dated, dirty, the sliding glass door wouldn't lock and the air conditioner over our bed could not be turned down. Just below our room on the street, people were partying until after 3:00 in the morning. When we picked up our car the next day from the parking garage, we were charged an additional $20.00 with the validation. We were very disappointed in this property and if you are considering staying there...continue your search.

We stayed her for our first two nights in Waikiki. The rooms are dated, but it was clean enough and the bed was quite comfortable! The staff and service was fabulous. You can't really beat the location of this hotel for the price. If you're looking for an affordable hotel as a home base and are out and about all day, then this place is perfect. They give you a beach chair and towel, which was so great for the beach! The beach is a short walk away, and you're close to many great restaurants and shops. I'd definitely stay here again if we ever come back.

This was the first stop on our honeymoon. Our flight arrived at an ungodly hour and the staff helped us coordinate check-in, arranged parking, offered recommendations, and provides delicious complimentary cookies (macadamia nut and coconut). They also took the liberty of upgrading us to the penthouse suite which was a great surprise! Best of all, it was done with a smile and the utmost courtesy. It felt very comfortable staying there for 3 nights. Mike, the valet service, was wonderful and respectful. He was a great vibe and we're thankful for Aqua Oasis. Recommend.

This place excelled in hospitality! The concierge/staff went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Friendly faces every morning, daily housekeeping, and replenished supplies for the room. They even went above and beyond when it came to checking out, calling a taxi, and holding bags to allow me to explore the city before my ride to the airport. I didnโ€™t give the hotel 5 stars due to a few minor things I did not like about my room. I did not like the stains on the curtains, in the carpet, and the lamp shade. The room had dust in many places which shows that it was not properly wiped down. The ac was over the bed and there appeared to be mold next to it. However I spent most of the time exploring the island and the least amount of time in the room.

The room has basic amenities, well cleaned and the complimentary toiletries were good. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, they were also super fast about bringing an extra blanket. The continental breakfast has basic cereal options and fresh fruit. There are little birds that will try to steal your food if you walk away, but that's to be expected in an outdoor seating scenario

This is a very nicely located hotel in the middle of everything you need. The accommodations are very good, a little above the 3 star rating they have. Everyone is friendly and the continental breakfast is also very good. After a fun filled day, I would enjoy sitting by the pond and relaxing with my wife before we went back upstairs to our room. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the best places to stay when visiting Honolulu. It is affordable and plus, they offer breakfast, not the typical continental breakfast, but at least the guests have something to chew on as they start their day. It is close to the main beach and a walking distance to main business center. The service is awesome and on time. I can't wait to visit and stay at the Aqua Oasis.

Super comfortable and clean. The room has everything we needed: a microwave, a fridge, a blow dryer, an A/C, etc.. Staff was very friendly, definitely did their best to make sure we had a great time. The only downside was that on the first night I noticed my pillows smelled like rotting fish and trash. Naturally, I talked to the cleaning staff and they offered to replace the pillowcases. Still pretty sketchy that the pillowcase smelt like that though. Especially since they were supposed to be โ€œnewโ€ and โ€œcleanโ€. Otherwise, the stay was amazing and the coffee they serve for breakfast is AMAZING

The place was more than I expected it, as I was packing I seen the Friday fireworks from the window. It was very amazing so spacious very clean, very sanitize. I really enjoyed that place. I would suggest and refer anyone on their honeymoon, anniversary, couples vacation. This is a very nice place to stay.. I would luv to bring my husband when he returns home. Valets weโ€™re very punctual, helps you with your bags and make sure youโ€™re all set and very friendly. I missed the breakfast buffet, but it is complementary in the morning . But thereโ€™s a good kitchen with pots and pans your own store full-size refrigerator to make your own meals. Definitely had a lot of selfies, the bathroom Badea was warm to touch, & hot tub bath was much needed, as it is a Jacuzzi size bathtub. Canโ€™t wait to return, but on the off side there is a charge that reads Extra charge service: how it was $79.? Not sure if it was a resort fee and Iโ€™m still waiting for my $50 deposit to return to my account. I guess itโ€™s something we all need to look out for.

Good overall, rooms are nice and some of the suites comes with kitchens. Is it needed, probably not but it was nice to have a full sized fridge. Only concerns were that weeknights and weekends are loud late night with a bar nearby. If you are a light sleeper, keep the AC on for white noise or else you hear a lot of people having a blast at the nearby pub.

I've stayed in Hawaii a couple times and would definitely come back to this hotel. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I loved my stay here. The breakfast every morning had fresh fruit and the coffee was so good! I loved that this hotel was close enough to the beach and shopping. During July, the island had fireworks every Friday. I could see the fireworks outside my balcony.

This is a decent place, it has a nice lobby setup (I really enjoyed taking photos there), polite and helpful staff, and a convenient location. There are no hidden fees; both amenities and overnight parking are mentioned when booked. Same things are applied to other hotels. However, the room condition could be improved. A small part of the bathtub was ripped, the sliding doors didn't align, the outdoor lounge chair was dirty, and the bottom of the wall had mold lined up. Also if you're lucky you may have a better patio view than I did. They provide self-service laundry but you'll need to buy the detergent. The breakfast is continental and beware of birds since they'll feed on your bagel or bread one second you're away from the table.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel is older but clean and the facilities are Nice. We would appreciate a broader choice of breakfast and there were a lot of issues with aggresive birds during the breakfast time. The location of the hotel is great, near the public transport and the waikiki beach. Lots of shops and restaurants around. And the staff was very kind. I definitely recommend, itโ€™s one of the cheaper hotels on waikiki but you get great service for the price

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone working here was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are not brand new but they are very clean and bed was comfortable. The toilet had a very nice bidet seat that even had a heated seat, it was amazing. I loved the location. The hotel is not right next to the beach but it's probably only a 5 minute walk and not being right on the main road keeps it quiet at night. It's right in the middle of tons of great restaurants and food trucks, more so than the south east side of Waikiki. The ramen restaurant in the main floor is wonderful, I went there 3 times it was so good. This hotel really is a great value for what you get.

Wonderful hotel!! We spent our first vacation in Oahu here and stayed here based on reviews I had read. The entrance to the hotel is all outdoors with beautiful plants, flowers and a koi pond. The rooms are spacious (more like an apartment than a hotel room) and clean. The staff were always helpful and friendly. And it was nice to be able to grab breakfast on the patio prior to heading out each day. The street noise can be noisy in the early hours (approx. 2-4 am) but the hotel has no control over that. My family slept through it but I am a light sleeper so pack some ear plugs if you are too.

Very basic for the high cost (albeit not so high for O'ahu). Good reception desk service. Basic outdoor breakfast and you often have to compete with the birds. I found it difficult to breathe in the room each morning. A friend said it might have been due to the air-conditioning unit filter not being clean. Location good for public bus transport but local air quality is very affected by vehicle exhaust emissions. Beware of extra charges that you were not immediately advised of but later appeared on your bill. Make sure you ask that the reception staff send you a reminder of your checkout date and time. We missed the checkout by only two hours, as we were having a good time sightseeing and also thought we had one more night booked. Once we returned and found out, we paid for the extra night but later found we had been charged $130US ($213AU) for technically not checking out. Seems management were not thinking of concern for their customers.

Great location and amazingly friendly staff. Rooms were clean enough but dated. Definitely some visible wear and tear and dirt. However, great price considering its location. Breakfast was meh; lots of pigeons everywhere.

5 stars for the price. This is definitely a 3-star hotel, not the nicest in the area but might just be the nicest at this price point. Great location, friendly staff, cool vibes, overall incredible experience. Also made use of the free museum visits which were awesome! Free breakfast doesnโ€™t hurt either.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience throughout our stay. All the front desk and valet staff were very friendly. We got a room away that faced the public parking lot but away from Lewers St., so it was very quiet at night. The air conditioning would be considered mild and was just enough to cool down the room a bit. The included breakfast was a bonus addition, although the timing (7-9am) was quite limited along with the selection of food (coffee/tea, pastries, bread, cereal, some fresh fruit). Love the fact that they serve local Hawaiian coffee and it was delicious. Happy to stay here again given the good value!

Wonderful staff and a very convenient location. Our room was surprisingly spacious and the king sized bed was comfy. The complimentary breakfast could use a few more tables in the dining area, plus some healthier protein options. The bed comforter was on the thin side, but we appreciated how much value we received from this modestly priced hotel.

The location is great, surrounded by restaurants and shop, close to beaches. The hotel is small but cute especially the pond with fishes and turtles. Valet parking is easy cost around $45 per day. Be aware of the self parking lot in the back( not the part of the hotel), we got tickets even though we had paid. The receptionists and all people who work there were nice . Will go back definitely.

The resort Staff was awesome; All of them very courteous and so friendly. They had a daily continental breakfast which satisfied most throughout the day until mid afternoon to grab a lite snack before dinner time in the early evening. The resort is in the middle of various shopping and so close to the beachline in every aspect of walking distance. Very little driving was required in our 1 week stay. The Valet Parking staff was awesome and so courteous always having our car out on time for us and helping us in and out of our car with our luggage. Even in obtaining timely taxi service as we went on our excursions to our Dinner cruise one day. The daily cleaning of the room was great and they were very attentive to all our needs. I would highly recommend this place just for the fact of attentiveness, courteousness, and such a warm welcoming and caring staff. We certainly look forward to coming back when we visit Honolulu again and this time we most likely will omit the rental car as we barely used and needed it.

This is a quaint hotel that is comfortable and relaxing. The staff is responsive and my room is great. The only drawback to the room is the lack of dresser drawer space if you have lot to unpack. However, there is plenty of closet space with hangers. The rooms have a mini fridge, and there is a small pool and a spacious patio for reading, tanning or just chilling! It's close to everything.

A great place to stay and it's pretty much in the center of everything! The Hawaiian Center is justea block away with all the designer shops, plus plenty of restaurant options. It's a little walk to the beach but definitely near everything! The free breakfast is basic but there are options and it's a great start to get the day going!

Rachel at the front desk was super welcoming and pleasant. It truly felt like we had an old friend downstairs, and we were always greeted with a genuine smile and wave. It really changed the whole dynamic of our stay, thank you so much Rachel! :)

We arrived in Waikiki at a time when covid protocol was high concern, and hotels were packed with tourists. After spending 3 nights in another hotel just off the beach (with poor access and somewhat shoddy), the Aqua Oasis was an immediate hit with our arrival, clean, spacious, and friendly. The staff behind the counter, at the valet, and in housekeeping was most helpful. They were able to share local knowledge which helped us get rare tickets to the PCC and directed us to the amazing Lavender Farm on Maui. Thanks, guys for making our visit to O'ahu so pleasant and memorable.
